7. Operating Instructions

Note: Before each measurement check the correct funktion at a known power source.

  1. Switch on the device. (Button 2)
  2. Place the probe tip close to the circuit to be tested.
  3. If an AC voltage is applied on the object to be measured, the LED flashes in the top and a signal tone sounds. (12 V to 1000 V)

8. Maintenance

Only authorized service technicians may repair the instrument.

Changing the battery(s)

If the device does not respond during the function test replace the battery.

  1. Unscrew the cap (5).
  2. Replace the batteries. Mind the correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment again.
  4. Disposal of the flat battery should meet environmental standards.

Cleaning

If the instrument is dirty after daily usage, it is advised to clean it by using a humid cloth and a mild household detergent. Prior to cleaning, ensure that instrument is switched off and disconnected from external voltage supply and any other instruments connected. Never use acid detergents or dissolvent for cleaning.

PANCONTROL instruments are subject to strict quality control. However, should the instrument function improperly during daily use, your are protected by a 24 months warranty from the date of purchase (valid only with invoice).
