Read all instructions before operating the humidifier. Keep these instructions.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Do not operate the humidifier outdoors.

Place the humidifier on a level, firm, nonmetallic and waterproof surface. Make sure it is in a stable position, so that it cannot fall over or fall down. Water can damage furniture and floors.

Unravel the cord before use. Failure to do so could cause overheating and possible fire hazard.

Do not use an extension cord or a solid-state speed-control device. Doing so could cause overheating, fire hazard or electric shock.

Only connect the humidifier to a single-phase AC supply of the voltage shown on the rating plate.

Always disconnect cord at wall plug before removing the unit, filling, touching, moving, cleaning or when not in use. Do not pull on the cord when disconnecting it.

Do not add any substances into the Water Tank (2) or Removable Tray (6) (e.g. inhalant, aromatic substances etc.). This can cause health hazards to people.

Do not direct the Mist Outlet (8) directly at people, walls or any objects.

Do not remove the Water Tank (2) during operation when it is filled. Do not operate the humidifier without water or when the Water Tank (2) is empty.
-
Do not immerse the humidifier in water or other liquids and do not pour water or other liquids over the humidifier or into the Mist Outlet (8).

Ventilate the room regularly. When a humidifier is used in closed or small rooms, excessive humidity can condense on furniture, walls and floors.

Clean the humidifier regularly and follow the "Cleaning Instructions".

If the supply cord of the humidifier is damaged the replacement must be conducted by the manufacturer, service agent or authorized person to avoid any risk.

Do not operate the humidifier if it is damaged, faulty or is not working properly. Disconnect it from the electricity supply.

FIRST TIME USE
- Read all instructions before using the humidifier.
- Unpack the humidifier and the supply cord; remove all packaging material and discard it. Packaging material can be recycled.
- Place the humidifier on a level, firm, non-metallic and waterproof surface. Make sure it is in a stable position, so that it cannot fall over or fall down. Water can damage furniture and floors. A safety distance of at least 1,20 m from any objects must be kept.
FILLING THE WATER TANK
- Check that the Power Switch (9) is in off-position (0) and that the plug is not in the socket.
- Remove the Water Tank (2) from the Base (7) and turn it upside down.
- Open the Tank Cap (3) by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Fill the Water Tank (6) only with clean, cool tap water (approx. 4 litres). Do not use warm or hot water. This can damage the Filter (5).
- Do not add any substances into the Water Tank (2) or Removable Tray (6) or onto the Filter (5) (e.g. inhalant, aromatic substances etc.). This can cause health hazards to people.
- Close the Water Tank (2) with the Tank Cap (3) by turning it clockwise.
- Check that the Removable Tray (6) and the Filter (5) are in place.
ENGLISH
- Turn the Water Tank (2) upright. Make sure that the Tank Cap (3) is in place and check it for leaks.
- Replace the filled Water Tank (2) on the Base (7).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- Check that the Water Tank (2) is filled and that the Removable Tray (6) and the Filter (5) are in place.
- Check that the Power Switch (9) is in off-position (0). Plug the supply cord into the outlet. Do not touch the supply cord with wet hands.
- Turn the Power Switch (9) to the desired position:
I = Low humidifying performance
II = High humidifying performance
- The Power Switch (10) illuminates and the humidifier is in operation.
- Direct the Mist Outlet (8) away from people, objects or walls.
- If surplus humidity condenses on furniture, walls or floors in closed or small rooms, turn the Power Switch (9) to (1) and open the door to the room. If this does not solve the problem turn the Power Switch (9) to the off-position (0) and unplug the humidifier.
- Before removing the humidifier or filling the Water Tank (2) turn the Power Switch (9) to the off-position and unplug the humidifier.
CLEANING, CARE AND STORAGE
We recommend to clean the humidifier frequently. In order to not impair the performance of the humidifier, follow the instructions for Cleaning, Care and Storage.
Daily Cleaning
- Before cleaning, turn the Power Switch (9) to the off-position (0) and unplug the unit.
- Remove the Water Tank (2) from the Base (7).

Carefully remove the Removable Tray (6) from the Base (7) being careful not to damage the delicate Filter (5). Empty excess water from the Removable Tray (6) without removing the Filter (5). Do not clean or wash the Filter (5).

Open the Tank Cap (3) by turning it counter-clockwise and drain any water from the Water Tank (2).
- Rinse the Water Tank (2) thoroughly with lukewarm water.
- Wipe the outer surfaces of the Water Tank (2) with a clean, damp cloth.
- To operate the humidifier follow the instructions under "Filling the Water Tank" and "Operating Instructions".
Weekly Cleaning
- Before cleaning, turn the Power Switch (9) to the off-position (0) and unplug the unit.
- Remove the Water Tank (2) from the Base (7).
- Carefully remove the Filter (5) being careful not to tear it; then let it drain. Remove the Removable Tray (6) from the Base (7) and empty the excess water. Do not clean or wash the Filter (5).
- Open the Tank Cap (3) by turning it counter-clockwise and drain any water from the Water Tank (2).
- Clean the Water Tank (2) and the Removable Tray (6) with a commercially available washing liquid. Afterwards thoroughly rinse these parts several times in lukewarm water. Do not immerse the Base (7) in water.
- Wipe the outer surfaces of the Water Tank (2) with a clean, damp cloth.
- To operate the humidifier follow the instructions under "Filling the Water Tank" and "Operating Instructions".
Disinfecting
- Every fortnight, after cleaning, you should additionally disinfect only these parts of the humidifier: Water Tank inside (2) and the Removable Tray (6).
- Use a commercially available alcohol-based disinfectant or high-proof alcohol. This disinfectant is an alcohol mixture available in pharmacies or drug stores. Follow the disinfectant manufacturers written instructions. Both substances will not harm the plastic parts but should be rinsed thoroughly in water after disinfection.
- Dry all inner surfaces with a soft tissue and wipe all outer surfaces with a soft, dry cloth.
ENGLISH
- To operate the humidifier follow the instructions as described under "Filling the Water Tank" and "Operating Instructions".
Care and Storage
- Follow the "Weekly Cleaning" instructions when the humidifier is not used for a longer period (one week or more).
- Let the humidifier and all its parts dry completely.
- Remove the Filter (5) from the Removable Tray (6) and discard it.
- Do not store the humidifier with a filled Water Tank (2) nor with a used Filter (5).
- Store the humidifier in a cool, dry place.
FILTER ACA-3E
- The ACA-3E Filter (5) performance depends on the mineral content of the water and the amount of airborne dust in the environment.
- When using the humidifier under normal conditions the Filter (5) should be replaced every two months.
- Always replace the Filter (5) immediately, when it discolours or when the top is not moist to the touch.
- Replacement ACA-3E Filters (5) are available where you purchased your humidifier.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
