General safety instructions

- Before commissioning this device please read the instruction manual carefully.
- Please keep these instructions, the guaranty certificate, the sales receipt and, if possible, the carton with the inner packaging!
- The device is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use!
- Always remove the plug from the socket whenever the device is not in use, when attaching accessory parts, cleaning the device or whenever a disturbance occurs. Switch off the device beforehand. Pull on the plug, not on the cable.
- In order to protect children from the dangers of electrical appliances, never leave them unsupervised with the device. Consequently, when selecting the location for your device, do so in such a way that children do not have access to the device. Take care to ensure that the cable does not hang down.
- Test the device and the cable regularly for damage. If there is damage of any kind, the device should not be used.
- Do not repair the device yourself, but rather consult an authorised expert.
- For safety reasons a broken or damaged mains lead may only be replaced by an equivalent lead from the manufacturer, our customer service department or a similar qualified person.
- Keep the device and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture, sharp edges and suchlike.
- Never use the device unsupervised! Switch off the device whenever you are not using it, even if this is only for a moment.
- Use only original accessories.
- Do not use the device outdoors*).
- Under no circumstances must the device be placed in water or other liquid, or come into contact with such ^ . Do not use the device with wet or moist hands ^ .
- Should the device become moist or wet, remove the mains plug from the socket immediately ^* . Do not reach into the water.
- Use the device only for the intended purpose.

Special Safety Instructions
- Switch the appliance on only if the blade, the protective lid and the motor casing are mounted correctly!
- Wait for the blade to stop before removing the contents in the container!
- WARNING: Handle the blade with caution! DANGER OF INJURY!
- Use the appliance only to chop food!
- The appliance is designed to process only small quantities of food! Fill the container with the maximum quantities specified in the table!
- Do not put hard foods such as ice cubes, nutmeg or large pieces of chocolate into the container! The blade can be damaged!

Putting into Operation
Before using the appliance for the first time wash the transparent container, the protective lid and the blade in a sink.
WARNING: handle the blade with caution! DANGER OF INJURY!
- Place the transparent container on a level and smooth work surface.
- Mount the blade (facing down) on the metal shaft in the transparent container.
- Fill the container with the desired ingredients. Do not overfill the container, otherwise the ingredients may not be chopped thoroughly (see the table with the quantities)!
- Place the white protective lid on the transparent container and press it firmly until you hear it snap into place. Turning the protective lid as you do so will help to fit it into place!
- Mount the motor casing. Insert the power cable into a duly installed 230V/50Hz protective contact outlet.
- Select one of the two speeds with the switch on the motor casing (see table).
- Press down with your hand on the motor casing. The appliance is switched on. A pulsating motion can be obtained by pressing and releasing the motor casing continuously. Use the appliance only for a maximum of 3 minutes. Before using it again leave it to cool for at least 2 minutes!
- After chopping release the motor casing. Pull out the plug from the outlet.
- Take the motor casing off the transparent container.
- Take the protective lid off and remove the blade carefully. DANGER OF INJURY!
- Now you can remove the contents from the transparent container.
Of course, you can chop also other foods that are not specified herein. In order to determine the maximum time for a type of food that is not specified herein, compare it with the hardness of another type of food provided in the table, i.e. an Apple has the same insistence of onion. In this case, refer to the indications in the table for "onion".
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Make sure that the plug is pulled out of the outlet after use and before cleaning!
- Clean the motor casing with a dry cloth without detergents.
- The transparent container, the protective lid and the blade are to be cleaned in a normal sink. WARNING: do not dip the motor unit in water. Use any commercial detergent to wash the parts. WARNING: handle the blade with care! DANGER OF INJURY!
• Dry all parts with a dry towel after washing. - Do not wash in a dishwasher!
- When putting the appliance away, wind the cable, put all the parts together and fit the motor casing into place.

Warranty
We undertake to guarantee the appliance sold by our company for 24 months as of the date of purchase (cash receipt).
During the life of the warranty we shall provide for the repair or replacement of the appliance owing to material or manufacturing defects absolutely free of charge.
Proof for the warranty is provided by the purchase document. The replacement and repair will not be performed free of charge without this proof of purchase.
Should the warranty be valid, please consign the complete appliance in its original packing together with the cash receipt to your local dealer.
Defects to the accessories do not entitle to the change of the appliance. These will be replaced free of charge. In this case do not send back the appliance. Just order the faulty accessory! Broken glass parts are replaced at the expense of the owner!
The cleaning, servicing and replacement of wear parts are not covered by this warranty and hence are to be paid for.
The warranty is terminated in case of handling on the part of Third parties.
After the warranty
Once the warranty has expired, repairs can be carried out by specialized technicians or repair services against the payment of the service.
