1. Take out all the parts carefully out of the packing.

2. Clean the device before using it for the rst time as de-

scribed in “Cleaning and Maintenance”. Attaching Accessories Attaching the Mixing Rod

2. Tighten the motor housing in a clockwise direction by turn-

  • The appliance is designed for the mashing and mixing of food and drinks and for chopping together with the multi- chopper.
  • Chop up large pieces of solid food before mashing (max. Ø 1.5 cm) and add a little liquid.
  • The appliance is designed to process only small quanti- ties of food! Fill the container with the maximum quantities specied in the table! Adapt the capacity to the foaming behavior of the food to be mixed. Decrease the amount if necessary.
  • Pay attention to the slowing down of the motor after shut- ting off.
  • Short-time operating: The appliance is designed to be operated for short periods of a maximum of 60 seconds. Before using again, allow to cool for approx. 60 seconds.
  • Do not process hot food. There is a risk of injury from hot liquids. The attachments are also only suitable for a temperature of up to 60°C. Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Always pull the plug out of the socket before cleaning!
  • Under no circumstances should you immerse the motor housing in water in order to clean it. Otherwise this might result in an electric shock or re.
  • The multi-purpose knife and the knife on the stick blender are very sharp. Handle these parts with care! There is a risk of injury! CAUTION:
  • To clean thoroughly, detach the stick blender or egg whisk from the motor housing.
  • Removable parts which have come into contact with food (tool and container) can be cleaned in soapy water. You can add a commercially available washing-up liquid.
  • Rub the outside of the motor casing with a moist towel to clean it when necessary and then wipe it with a dry cloth.
  • After cleaning, store the mixing rod in the accessory holder supplied (see illustration D).
