Start-up of the device/introduction

Inserting the Batteries (batteries not included)

• To open the battery compartment, remove the screw (5) on the back of the device.
• Pull the plastic cover downwards and open the battery compartment.
• Insert 3.1.5 V AA type batteries. Make sure that the polarity is correct (see the bottom of the battery compartment or the marking on the outer casing)! If the device is not used for a long period of time, the batteries are to be removed from the battery compartment to avoid the "spillage" of the battery acid.
• Close the device by proceeding in the opposite order.

• Batteries are not to be disposed of together with domestic wastes. Dispose of the used batteries at the relevant collection bin or at your dealer's.
• Different battery types or new and used batteries must not be used together.

Operating the Device

• Switch on the device with the VOLUME - On/Off knob (7) and turn clockwise until the desired volume is set.
  The desired frequency band (FM/AM) can be set with the band selector switch (8).
• Turn the TUNING knob (2) to set the desired broadcasting station.
• Shut off the device after use with the regulator (3).

Cleaning

CAUTION:

Do not dip the appliance in water.

Clean the device with a moist cloth and dry it well.
- Do not use abrasive detergents.
