How to set the time on the AEG DRR 4107 radio?

Press the Clock button until the hours flash. Use the + or - buttons to adjust. Press Clock again to confirm and move to minutes. Repeat the operation.

Tune to the desired station, then press and hold one of the preset buttons (1 to 10) for a few seconds. A beep confirms the storage.

The radio does not turn on with mains power, what to do?

Yes, use a 3.5 mm audio cable to connect your smartphone's headphone output to the AUX input of the radio. Then select the AUX source on the device.

What to do if FM reception is poor?

Fully extend the telescopic antenna and orient it for better reception. Move the radio away from walls or electronic devices. If the problem persists, switch to mono if the option is available.

How to adjust the volume?

Turn the volume knob clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease. A volume level display appears on the screen.

The radio emits a whistling sound, is this normal?

A slight whistling may occur near other electronic devices. Move the radio away from these sources. If the noise persists, check that the antenna is properly extended.

How to use the sleep timer?

Press the Snooze/Sleep button to activate the timer. Each press adds 15 minutes up to 120 minutes. The radio will turn off automatically after the set time.

Before Using the Machine / Introduction

Insertion of Batteries (not supplied)

• Open the lid of the battery compartment on the back of the machine.
• Insert 2 batteries of the type 1.5 V R03 or AAA. Please ensure that the polarity is correct (see bottom of the battery compartment).
• If the machine is not going to be used for a long time, the batteries should be removed in order to prevent leakage.
• Different battery types or new and used batteries must not be used together.
• Then close the battery lid.

CAUTION:

Batteries are not to be disposed of together with domestic wastes. Dispose of the used batteries at the relevant collection bin or at your dealer's.

WARNING:

Do not expose the batteries to high temperatures or direct sunlight. Never throw batteries into the fi re. There is a danger of explosion!

Setting the Time (Standby)

Hours: Press the SET key (11) and the HOUR key (10) simultaneously.

Minutes: Press the SET key (11) and the MINUTE key (9) simultaneously.

i NOTE:

The radio has a 12-hour display. „PM“ indicates the hours after 12 noon.

Headphone Socket (2)

Please use headphones with a 3.5 mm stereo jack plug; these should be inserted into the socket.

Listening to the Radio

1. Turn the volume regulator (4) until the frequency display appears.
2. Press the SCAN button (7) repeatedly to set a radio station.
3. When the end of the frequency band is reached the scanning process stops.

If you would like to start scanning again from the beginning of the frequency band, press the RESET button (8).

If you have connected the device to the loudspeaker, pull the telescopic antenna out to improve reception.

Switching Off the Machine

Turn the function selector switch (VOLUME) to the „OFF“ position. The time display appears.

Cleaning

• Clean the device only with a soft, dry cloth.
• If it is necessary to clean the device with a damp cloth, please use one that is slightly down but not wet.
• Use a commercially available detergent or mild soap to clean!
• Do not use abrasive detergents! These can damage the casing!
• Make sure that no humidity or water penetrates in the device!
  • Dry well with a dry, soft cloth!

Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.

If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return the entire machine in the original packaging to your dealer together with the receipt.

Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the guarantee and hence are to be paid!

The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.

After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the competent dealer or repair service against the payment of the ensuing costs.
