Frequently Asked Questions - Klimatronic Transform 9000 SUNTEC

What area can the SUNTEC Klimatronic Transform 9000 air-condition?
The Transform 9000 is designed for spaces up to 90 m³, which is approximately 30 to 38 m² depending on the ceiling height. For best results, keep doors and windows closed while operating.
Can the Transform 9000 also heat the room?
Yes, it is a reversible air conditioner. It has a heating mode in addition to cooling, dehumidifying, and simple ventilation modes. The heating power is 2.6 kW.
How do I install the hot air exhaust hose?
The flexible hose should be connected to the back of the unit and guided outside via a window or door using the supplied sealing kit. Avoid tight bends and limit the length to the maximum indicated in the manual to maintain cooling efficiency.
What to do when error code E2 or E4 appears?
Codes E2 and E4 indicate that the condensate water tank is full. Turn off the device, remove and empty the condensate tank via the designated plug, then replace the tank before restarting.
How to drain the accumulated condensate water?
In cooling or dehumidifying mode, water forms. Unscrew the drain plug located at the bottom of the device and place a container underneath. You can also connect a continuous drain hose to avoid frequent interruptions.
Cooling is insufficient: what checks should be made?
Ensure that the exhaust hose is properly connected and not bent. Check that the air intake and outlet grilles are not obstructed. Clean the filters if necessary. Avoid exposing the device to direct sunlight and insulate the room well.
How to set the automatic shut-off with the timer?
Use the Timer button on the remote control or control panel to set an operating duration. The device will automatically shut down once this period has elapsed. Refer to the control panel instructions for available increments.
How to clean the air filters?
Remove the filters by sliding them out of their housing (rear or side grille depending on the model). Rinse them with lukewarm water, let them dry completely in the open air, then reinstall them. Cleaning every 2 weeks during intensive use is recommended.
The remote control no longer responds: what to check?
Replace the batteries in the remote control. Point the remote control towards the infrared receiver located on the front panel of the device, within 7 m and without obstacles. If the problem persists, try operating the device directly from the control panel.
Can the Transform 9000 be used without the exhaust hose?
No, the exhaust hose is essential in cooling mode and heat pump heating mode. Without exhaust, hot air remains in the room, and efficiency is null. In ventilation-only mode, the hose is not necessary.
What refrigerant gas does this device contain?
The Klimatronic Transform 9000 uses the R410A refrigerant. This gas is common in portable air conditioners of this generation. In case of a leak or technical intervention, contact a qualified professional.
How to prepare the device for winter storage?
Run the device in fan-only mode for 30 minutes to dry the internal circuit. Completely drain the condensate tank. Unplug the device, store the hose and remote control, and cover the unit to protect it from dust.

Automatic evaporation and drainage of condensed water:

The machine can automatically evaporate condensing water and drain out of the exhaust hose. Please ensure that the plug is installed properly during operation mode cooling. In operation modes heating and dehumidifying the plug needs to be removed. Install a drain hose to drain the water (continuous drainage).

Additional notes cooling mode

We recommend starting the unit early in the morning on warm days to get a cool room.
This unit has a self-evaporation function for condensation water, so that it is normally not necessary to empty the water tank in cooling mode. The drainage hose need not be connected. Please make sure that the outlet is closed with the rubber cap during operation.

(This does not apply in the case of high air humidity. If the unit operates in cooling mode for a longer period and especially at a time of year with high air humidity, the condensation tank may be full. Error code "E2" will remind you to empty the water. In such a case, empty the water tank via the condensation water outlet. If continuous high air humidity is likely, it is recommended to drain the condensation continuously via the drainage hose.)

The TRANSFORM unit stands in the room to be cooled.

Connect the air hose and the air outlet grid to the TRANSFORM unit as displayed in the illustration; the air hose connection piece and air outlet grid need to be exchanged.

On cold days it is recommendable to start the unit early in order to get a warm room.
For the heating function and to improve the heating effect and avoid lower temperatures (lower than 15^ ) we recommend you remove the rubber plug from the condensation water outlet and allow the condensation water to leak out of the unit using the drainage hose. However, the drainage hose does not have to be connected in the heating mode. Please make sure that the condensation water outlet is closed with the rubber cap during operation. In such a case, proceed analogously to the emptying of the water tank in the cooling function.
- The heating function of the unit must not be operated at a room temperature of more than 25^ or less than 15^ . The unit can also be operated with heating function, if the outside temperature is lower than 15^ . However, you must then ensure that the unit is operated inside and the room temperature is at least 15^ .

The unit is in the room to be heated.

Connect the air hose and the air outlet grid to the unit as displayed in the illustration; the air hose

connection piece and air outlet grid need to be exchanged.
