Please do not install or use your mobile local air conditioner before you have carefully read this manual and the warning book. Please keep this instruction manual for product warranty and future reference. Safety Precautions This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

• Only use the unit in the household and for it’s designed purpose. Do not use outdoors.

• Before connecting the unit to the power supply, check that the indicated voltage corresponds with your home’s voltage. Connect the unit to a properly grounded electrical outlet (220-240V, 50 Hz).

• The unit may not be connected to a defective outlet. Please make sure before using that the unit has been properly installed.

• Do not operate or stop the unit by inserting or pulling out the power plug. Risk of electric shock and fire!

• Never cover the unit. Risk of fire!

• Refrain from further usage if the power cord, power plug or the unit are damaged and contact your seller.

• Only operate the unit on a flat and stable surface.

• Never leave the unit unattended.

• Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or change the unit by yourself.

• The usage of accessories other than those of SUNTEC may cause harm.

• Never immerse the unit, cable and plug into water or other liquids to avoid electric shocks.

• Do not use a multiple socket.

• Do not use the unit in case of strange sounds, smells or smoke.

• Do not use extension leads.

• Do not put objects on top of the unit.

• Make sure that air inlet and outlet are never blocked.

• Improper use may damage the unit.

• Always empty the watertank befoe moving the unit.• Never touch the power plug with wet hands.

• Do not drop the remote control.

• Do not expose the remote control to direct sunlight.

• Do not use pesticides or other flammable sprays near the appliance as this may lead to damage.

Important. This portable local air conditioner must always be stored and transported in an upright position. In case of doubt, let the unit rest for at least 24 hours before starting it.Parts description 1 Control panel 5 Castor 2 Air outlet 6 Drain Opening 3 Carrying Handle 7 Exhaust Air Outlet 4 Air Inlet with dust filter Exhaust hose installation - Place the unit on a flat surface near a power socket, but at least 50cm away to other objects - Connect the exhaust hose adapters with one end each of the exhaust hose by turning. Then, fix the exhaust hose at the back of the portable local air conditioner (see pic.1). Pic. 1

- Temporary exhaust hose installation: Please lead the free end of the exhaust hose out of the window. - Exhaust hose installation with window kit: Depending on your type of window, insert the window kit horizontally or vertically into your window. Lead the exhaust hose through the hole at the window kit (see pic.2 and 3). - Make sure that the outlet is not blocked to prevent damage to the unit. - The exhaust hose should not be bent.

Pic. 2 Pic. 3Commisioning Please place the device on a firm, level surface in an area with at least 50 cm free space around the device to ensure good air circulation. Do not operate the unit in the immediate vicinity of walls, curtains or other objects that may block air entry or exit. Please keep the air inlet and outlet free of obstructions. Never install the unit: - Near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other products that produce heat. - In direct sunlight - In places where the device is exposed to vibrations or shocks - In overly dusty places. - In a cupboard or similar poorly ventilated place. - On uneven surfaces Control Panel

1. Switch On and Off

- Please press the POWER button to turn on the unit. - The unit starts in fan mode by default. ("Fan" indicator for fan speed lights up) - Please press the MODE button to select the desired function. - Please press the POWER button again to turn off the unit.

- The device has four functions: Cooling, ventilation, heating and dehumidification. For night operation, we recommend that you operate the unit in sleep mode.

- Please press the MODE button repeatedly until the "Cool" indicator lights up. - Press the up/down button to set the temperature. The temperature can be set between 16℃ and 32℃. - Please press the fan speed button repeatedly until the desired indicator lights up. - Please press the oscillation button in order to activate or deactivate the automatic vertical movements of the fins. NOTE: The air conditioner stops when the room temperature is below the set temperature.

- Please press the MODE key repeatedly until the "Fan" indicator lights up. - In ventilation mode, the room air is circulated but not cooled. - Please press the SPEED button to select high, medium or low speed.

2.3 Dehumidification Mode

- Press the MODE button on the control panel or remote control until the "Dry" indicator lights up. The fan speed cannot be selected. The user should connect the drainage hose to the drain at the bottom of the unit. Note: In this mode, the fan speed switches to Low and cannot be set.

The cooling mode can be activated in sleep mode. In Cooling Mode: After 1 hour the preset temperature is automatically increased by 1 ℃, after another hour the preset temperature is automatically increased again by 1 ℃. In Heating Mode: After 1 hour the preset temperature is automatically decreased by 1 ℃, after another hour the preset temperature is automatically decreased again by 1 ℃.

- Please press the MODE button repeatedly until the "Heat" indicator lights up. - Press the up/down button to set the temperature. The temperature can be set between 16℃ and 32℃. - Please press the fan speed button repeatedly until the desired indicator lights up. - Please press the oscillation button in order to activate or deactivate the automatic vertical movements of the fins.

When the unit is switched on, press the TIMER button first. Now you can set the desired switch-off time with the up/down buttons. When the unit is switched off, press the TIMER key to set the switch-on time. Deactivate Timer: Press the Up/Down button repeatedly until '00' appears on the display. Note: If you press the POWER button during this time, the timer function will be deactivated.

4. Automatic Frost Protection:

At low room temperatures, frost may accumulate on the evaporator during operation. In this case, the unit automatically starts defrosting and the POWER LED flashes. The defrost control sequence is as follows: When the unit is operating in cooling mode or dehumidification mode, the ambient temperature sensor detects the evaporator coil temperature. As soon as this drops below -1°C, the compressor is switched off. After the compressor has stopped operating for 10 minutes or reaches the coil temperature 7℃, the unit restarts in cooling mode.

5. Overload Protection:

In the event of a power failure, there is a 3-minute delay until the compressor restarts to protect the compressor.Connection to the WLAN and the Suntec Wellness APP WiFi standard 802.11B:17.5dBm;802.11g:14.5dBm; 802.11n:13.5dBm WiFi frequency 2,400 GHz - 2,4835 GHz WiFi radio-frequency power (max.) ＜20.0dBm

- Please download the "SUNTEC Wellness" app from the App Store or Google Play and install it. - Please create a user account after the installation. - Please activate the Bluetooth access in the settings of your mobile device. - Please place the device within 5 meters of your router. - As soon as you have connected the device to the power, the WiFi indicator flashes. If no connection attempt is made for 3 minutes, the indicator on the device goes out. - To establish a new connection, please press the "WiFi" button for approx. 5 seconds until the WiFi indicator flashes quickly. - Please follow the steps below in the app as soon as the indicator flashes: - Please select "Add device" and then follow the instructions on your mobile phone screen. - As soon as the device is successfully connected, the WiFi indicator lights up constantly. - The device works with the most popular voice assistants from Amazon and Google. - In order to use the voice function of Amazon or Google, it is necessary to couple the device once with the "SUNTEC Wellness" app. All further steps are displayed in the app. - To remove the device from the WLAN, please press the "Wifi" button for approx. 3 seconds until the WiFi indicator disappears. - If you have any further questions about the app, please visit our web page at www.suntec- wellness.de/suntec-app/ Suntec Wellness App Download Emptying of the water tank Please switch off the appliance before emptying the water tank. Remove the plug from the water outlet and keep it in a safe area. Please connect the drain hose securely and properly and ensure that it is not kinked and free of obstacles. Please place the hose outlet over a drain or bucket and make sure that the water can escape freely from the unit. Please do not immerse the end of the hose in water, as this may result in an "air lock" in the hose. To avoid water leakage: Since the negative pressure of the condensate tray is high, please tilt the drain hose downwards to the floor. It is advisable that the inclination exceeds 20 degrees. Cleaning Cleaning the housing

1. Press the POWER button to turn off the power and unplug the power cord.

2. Please use a neutral detergent with a soft cloth to clean the exterior surfaces and a dry cloth to dry them

3. Please do not use petrol or other chemical cleaning agents to clean the unit.

Cleaing the air filter (every two weeks) Dust collects on the filter and restricts the air flow. The restricted airflow reduces the efficiency of the system and can cause damage to the unit if clogged. The air filter must be cleaned regularly. The air filter is removable for easy cleaning. Do not operate the unit without the air filter as this may contaminate the evaporator.

1. Please remove the filter fabric from the unit.

2. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the filter.

3. Please turn the filter over and rinse the air filter under running water. Let the water flow through the filter

in the opposite direction to the air flow. Set the filter aside and allow it to air dry completely before reinstalling.Beware! Do not touch the surface of the evaporator with your bare hand as this may cause injury to fingers.

Troubleshooting Problem Control Solution The device does not work. Please check the power connection. Please plug the mains cable firmly into the socket. Check that the water level indicator is lit. The display shows . Please empty the water tank. (see section "Error codes") Check if the room temperature is too high / too low The operating temperature range is 5-35℃. The device operates at reduced power Check the air filter for dirt. Please clean the air filter if necessary. Check whether the air outlet is blocked. Remove the blockage. Check whether the door or window of the room is open. Keep the doors and windows closed. Check if the desired mode is selected and that the temperature is set correctly. Set the mode and temperature to the correct setpoint according to the instructions. The exhaust hose is disconnected. Please make sure that the exhaust hose is not stuck. Water is leaking. Overflow when moving the unit. Please empty the water tank before transport. Check whether the drain hose is bent or kinked. Please align the hose to avoid the presence of an obstacle. Excessive noise. Check that the unit is securely positioned. Please place the unit on a level and solid floor. Check for loose, vibrating parts. Secure and tighten the parts. Noise sounds like water flowing. Noise is caused by the flowing refrigerant. This is normal. Network connection timeout Please check your network connection Switch off the device, disconnect the power plug and reconnect it after 10 seconds. Please start a new connection attempt. The Wifi-indicator does not light up Please check if the device is connected to the power. Please hold the timer button for 3 seconds. Wifi hotspot disappears and the Wifi-Indicator flashes Please check your network connection. Switch off the device, disconnect the power plug and reconnect it after 10 seconds. Please start a new connection attempt. Error codes

Communication error between motherboard and display board. Please contact your sales representative.

Ambient temperature sensor failure. Please contact your sales representative.

Coil temperature sensor error. Please contact your sales representative.

Water tank full. Refrigerant (CE) N 842/2006: This local air conditioner contains the refrigerant R290. The amount of refrigerant is less than 1kg, and is in a closed cooling circuit. The coolant does have zero ozone depletion potential, but is a so-called greenhouse gases under the Kyoto Protocol and may thus contribute to global warming, if it is released to the atmosphere. Therefore, only trained technicians with refrigerant certificate make a filling or emptying. Your local Suntec air conditioner does not have to use if used properly and undamaged coolant circuit can be refilled with refrigerant. • You can claim the device within 24 months from date of purchase (receipt).

• A free replacement or repair will be excluded from prior improper product handling.

• Without a proof of purchase, generally there will be no repair or replacement.
