What is the power of the Suntec Coolfixx 16000 BTU App device?

The cooling capacity is 16,000 BTU (approx. 4.7 kW), suitable for rooms up to about 40 m² depending on insulation. The power consumption is not specified, but the device must be plugged into a 220-240 V, 50 Hz outlet.

How to install the hot air exhaust hose?

Attach the adapters to both ends of the hose, then screw the rear adapter onto the exhaust air outlet of the device. The other end can be placed directly at the window or fixed via the included sliding bar. Ensure the hose is not bent and the air outlet is not obstructed.

Is maintenance of the cooling system or replacement of refrigerant required?

No, the cooling circuit is sealed and requires no refill or replacement of refrigerant (R290). Regular maintenance is limited to cleaning the air filter every two weeks.

Why is my air conditioner making noise?

The compressor operation generates a normal noise of 50 to 70 dB. If the noise is excessive, check: a) that the ventilation slats are properly secured, b) that no obstacles block the air intake, c) that the air filter is clean, d) that the device is placed on a flat and stable surface.

How to empty the water tank?

Turn off the device and unplug it. Remove the drain plug at the back (have a collection tray ready). Connect the drainage hose and let the water flow into a bucket or drain. Replace the plug after emptying. Note: in dehumidification mode, the hose must be connected permanently.

What to do if the device is not cooling enough?

First check that the air filter is clean. Ensure the exhaust hose is well insulated and the window/door is closed. Check that the room is not too large for the device's capacity (16,000 BTU). If no improvement, the compressor may be faulty; contact after-sales service.

How to connect the device to WiFi and use the app?

Download the SUNTEC Wellness app from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account, enable Bluetooth, and place the device within 5 m of the router. Turn on the device: the WiFi light flashes. In the app, tap 'Add device' and follow the instructions. The light stops flashing when the connection is established.

What do error codes E0, E1, E2, and FL mean?

E0: communication error between boards. E1: ambient temperature sensor failure. E2: coil temperature sensor error. FL: water tank full. For E0, E1, E2, contact your dealer. For FL, empty the water tank.

How to clean the air filter?

Turn off the device and unplug it. Remove the air filter from the air intake. Vacuum dust, then rinse under running water in the opposite direction of airflow. Let it dry completely before reinstalling. Never use the device without the filter.

What is the warranty period and how to claim?

The warranty is 24 months from the date of purchase (invoice). It covers manufacturing or material defects. For a claim, return the complete device with original packaging and proof of purchase to your point of sale. Damage due to misuse or normal wear is not covered.

Important. This portable local air conditioner must always be stored and transported in an upright position. In case of doubt, let the unit rest for at least 24 hours before starting it.

Exhaust hose installation

• Place the unit on a flat surface near a power socket, but at least 50cm away to other objects
• Connect the exhaust hose adapters with one end each of the exhaust hose by turning. Then, fix the exhaust hose at the back of the portable local air conditioner (see pic.1).

• Temporary exhaust hose installation: Please lead the free end of the exhaust hose out of the window.
• Exhaust hose installation with window kit: Depending on your type of window, insert the window kit horizontally or vertically into your window. Lead the exhaust hose through the hole at the window kit (see pic.2 and 3).
• Make sure that the outlet is not blocked to prevent damage to the unit.
• The exhaust hose should not be bent.

Commissioning

Please place the device on a firm, level surface in an area with at least 50 cm free space around the device to ensure good air circulation.

Do not operate the unit in the immediate vicinity of walls, curtains or other objects that may block air entry or exit. Please keep the air inlet and outlet free of obstructions.

Never install the unit:

• Near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other products that produce heat.
• In direct sunlight
• In places where the device is exposed to vibrations or shocks
• In overly dusty places.
• In a cupboard or similar poorly ventilated place.
• On uneven surfaces

Functions

1. Switch On and Off

• Please press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
• The unit starts in fan mode by default. ("Fan" indicator for fan speed lights up)
• Please press the MODE button to select the desired function.
• Please press the POWER button again to turn off the unit.

2. Functions

- The device has four functions: Cooling, ventilation, heating and dehumidification. For night operation, we recommend that you operate the unit in sleep mode.

2.1 Cooling Mode

• Please press the MODE button repeatedly until the "Cool" indicator lights up.
• Press the up/down button to set the temperature. The temperature can be set between 16°C and 32°C.
• Please press the fan speed button repeatedly until the desired indicator lights up.
• Please press the oscillation button in order to activate or deactivate the automatic vertical movements of the fins.

NOTE: The air conditioner stops when the room temperature is below the set temperature.

2.2 Fan Mode

• Please press the MODE key repeatedly until the "Fan" indicator lights up.
• In ventilation mode, the room air is circulated but not cooled.
• Please press the SPEED button to select high, medium or low speed.

2.3 Dehumidification Mode

- Press the MODE button on the control panel or remote control until the "Dry" indicator lights up. The fan speed cannot be selected. The user should connect the drainage hose to the drain at the bottom of the unit.

Note: In this mode, the fan speed switches to Low and cannot be set.

2.4 Sleep Mode

The cooling mode can be activated in sleep mode.

In Cooling Mode:

After 1 hour the preset temperature is automatically increased by 1 ^ , after another hour the preset temperature is automatically increased again by 1 ^ .

In Heating Mode:

After 1 hour the preset temperature is automatically decreased by 1 °C, after another hour the preset temperature is automatically decreased again by 1 °C.

2.5 Heating Mode

• Please press the MODE button repeatedly until the "Heat" indicator lights up.
• Press the up/down button to set the temperature. The temperature can be set between 16°C and 32°C.
• Please press the fan speed button repeatedly until the desired indicator lights up.
• Please press the oscillation button in order to activate or deactivate the automatic vertical movements of the fins.

3. TIMER 1h-24h:

When the unit is switched on, press the TIMER button first. Now you can set the desired switch-off time with the up/down buttons.

When the unit is switched off, press the TIMER key to set the switch-on time.

Deactivate Timer: Press the Up/Down button repeatedly until '00' appears on the display.

Note: If you press the POWER button during this time, the timer function will be deactivated.

4. Automatic Frost Protection:

At low room temperatures, frost may accumulate on the evaporator during operation. In this case, the unit automatically starts defrosting and the POWER LED flashes. The defrost control sequence is as follows:

When the unit is operating in cooling mode or dehumidification mode, the ambient temperature sensor detects the evaporator coil temperature. As soon as this drops below -1^ , the compressor is switched off. After the compressor has stopped operating for 10 minutes or reaches the coil temperature 7^ , the unit restarts in cooling mode.

5. Overload Protection:

In the event of a power failure, there is a 3-minute delay until the compressor restarts to protect the compressor.

Connection to the WLAN and the Suntec Wellness APP

• Please download the "SUNTEC Wellness" app from the App Store or Google Play and install it.
• Please create a user account after the installation.
• Please activate the Bluetooth access in the settings of your mobile device.
• Please place the device within 5 meters of your router.
• As soon as you have connected the device to the power, the WiFi indicator flashes. If no connection attempt is made for 3 minutes, the indicator on the device goes out.
• To establish a new connection, please press the "WiFi" button for approx. 5 seconds until the WiFi indicator flashes quickly.

• Please follow the steps below in the app as soon as the indicator flashes:

• Please select "Add device" and then follow the instructions on your mobile phone screen.

• As soon as the device is successfully connected, the WiFi indicator lights up constantly.
• The device works with the most popular voice assistants from Amazon and Google.
• In order to use the voice function of Amazon or Google, it is necessary to couple the device once with the "SUNTEC Wellness" app. All further steps are displayed in the app.
• To remove the device from the WLAN, please press the "Wifi" button for approx. 3 seconds until the WiFi indicator disappears.

Emptying of the water tank

Please switch off the appliance before emptying the water tank.

Remove the plug from the water outlet and keep it in a safe area. Please connect the drain hose securely and properly and ensure that it is not kinked and free of obstacles. Please place the hose outlet over a drain or bucket and make sure that the water can escape freely from the unit. Please do not immerse the end of the hose in water, as this may result in an "air lock" in the hose.

To avoid water leakage:

Since the negative pressure of the condensate tray is high, please tilt the drain hose downwards to the floor. It is advisable that the inclination exceeds 20 degrees.

Cleaning

Cleaning the housing

1. Press the POWER button to turn off the power and unplug the power cord.
2. Please use a neutral detergent with a soft cloth to clean the exterior surfaces and a dry cloth to dry them off.
3. Please do not use petrol or other chemical cleaning agents to clean the unit.

Cleaching the air filter (every two weeks)

Dust collects on the filter and restricts the air flow. The restricted airflow reduces the efficiency of the system and can cause damage to the unit if clogged.

The air filter must be cleaned regularly. The air filter is removable for easy cleaning. Do not operate the unit without the air filter as this may contaminate the evaporator.

1. Please remove the filter fabric from the unit.
2. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the filter.
3. Please turn the filter over and rinse the air filter under running water. Let the water flow through the filter in the opposite direction to the air flow. Set the filter aside and allow it to air dry completely before reinstalling.

Beware!

Do not touch the surface of the evaporator with your bare hand as this may cause injury to fingers.

Troubleshooting

Problem		Control	Solution
The device does not work.		Please check the power connection.	Please plug the mains cable firmly into the socket.
		Check that the water level indicator is lit. The display shows .	Please empty the water tank. (see section "Error codes")
		Check if the room temperature is too high / too low	The operating temperature range is 5-35°C.
The device operates at reduced power		Check the air filter for dirt.	Please clean the air filter if necessary.
		Check whether the air outlet is blocked.	Remove the blockage.
		Check whether the door or window of the room is open.	Keep the doors and windows closed.
		Check if the desired mode is selected and that the temperature is set correctly.	Set the mode and temperature to the correct setpoint according to the instructions.
		The exhaust hose is disconnected.	Please make sure that the exhaust hose is not stuck.
Water is leaking.		Overflow when moving the unit.	Please empty the water tank before transport.
		Check whether the drain hose is bent or kinked.	Please align the hose to avoid the presence of an obstacle.
Excessive noise.		Check that the unit is securely positioned.	Please place the unit on a level and solid floor.
		Check for loose, vibrating parts.	Secure and tighten the parts.
		Noise sounds like water flowing.	Noise is caused by the flowing refrigerant. This is normal.
Network connection timeout		Please check your network connection	Switch off the device, disconnect the power plug and reconnect it after 10 seconds. Please start a new connection attempt.
The Wifi-indicator does not light up		Please check if the device is connected to the power.	Please hold the timer button for 3 seconds.
Wifi hotspot disappears and the Wifi-Indicator flashes		Please check your network connection.	Switch off the device, disconnect the power plug and reconnect it after 10 seconds. Please start a new connection attempt.

ERP regulation

This high-quality single-channel portable air conditioning unit is in accordance with the rules and regulations of the European Union, in particular the new ERP Regulation 626/2011 to a "local air conditioner."

Refrigerant

(CE) N 842/2006: This local air conditioner contains the refrigerant R290. The amount of refrigerant is less than 1kg, and is in a closed cooling circuit. The coolant does have zero ozone depletion potential, but is a so-called greenhouse gases under the Kyoto Protocol and may thus contribute to global warming, if it is released to the atmosphere. Therefore, only trained technicians with refrigerant certificate make a filling or emptying. Your local Suntec air conditioner does not have to use if used properly and undamaged coolant circuit can be refilled with refrigerant.

In case of complaint

• You can claim the device within 24 months from date of purchase (receipt).
- A free replacement or repair will be excluded from prior improper product handling.
• Defects in wear parts, consumables, as well as cleaning, maintenance or replacement of said parts are

• If you want to make a complaint, please bring the entire device in its original packaging and with proof of purchase to your dealer. For a timely and convenient service register, visit our website www.suntec-wellness.de and learn more.
  • Without a proof of purchase, generally there will be no repair or replacement.
