Danger of burns!

The temperature of touchable surfaces can be very high during operation.

• Do not operate the device with a timer or separate telecontrol system.
• Put the device on a flat, moisture and heat resistant surface. With delicate surfaces, please put a heat resistant board underneath the device.
• Keep in mind that hot parts stay hot for a long time after operation has been ended.
• Do not move the device during operation.
• Only hold the device at the therefore intended handles and buttons.
• Do not operate the device under wall units, because heat and steam escape during operation.

Unpacking the device

• Unpack the device.
• Remove all packaging materials such as foils, filling material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
• Check the scope of delivery.

There might be particles or production remains on the device. We recommend you wipe the enclosure with a damp cloth.

Electric installation

• Be sure the voltage of the device (rating plate) is in accordance with the mains voltage.
• Connect the mains plug to a properly installed shockproof socket (230V~ 50Hz) only.

Connected load

The device is intended for a maximum power intake of 3320 W. This connected load recommends a separate input lead secured with a 16 amp protected switch.

Caution Overload:

• When using extension cords, these should have a cable cross-section of at least 1.5 mm².
• Do not use gang plugs, because the device is too powerful.

Notes on operation

Switch

Use the following switches to operate both boiling plates and the oven:

Control switch 3 Oven temperature

• Select an oven temperature.

Note:

You may turn on/off the oven function with switch 4 only.

Switch 4 Oven/Boiling plate, big

• Select performance 850W, 1100W or 1500W of the big boiling plate without oven function (symbols f, g, h).
• Select an oven function (symbols b, c, d). Use control switch 3 to furthermore set the temperature.
• Select operation of big boiling plate with 900 W in combination with the oven (symbol e).
• Select position "OFF" to turn off all settings.

Switch 5 (symbol i) Boiling plate, small

• Select a setting of the small boiling plate between 1 and 6.

Note:

You may use the small boiling plate and the oven simultaneously without any disturbance.

• Select position "0" to turn off all settings.

Control light

As soon as you connect the device to the mains and select a function, the control light turns on.

Operating the boiling plates

• Leave the boiling plates turned on for 5 minutes before initial use, in order to remove the protective film.
• In this connection there might be a slight formation of smoke and odor, which will vanish during the course of operation.
• Ensure sufficient ventilation.

Cookware

Only use cooking pots with a flat footing in order to optimize the use of energy.
- The pot should never be smaller than the boiling plate. This would cause a loss of energy. In the worst case the boiling plate might become distorted.

Oven

• If present, remove packaging material from the oven.
• Operate the unit 15 minutes before initial use in order to remove the protective film of the heating element.
• Select the operating function top/bottom heat.
• In this connection there might be a formation of smoke and odor, which will vanish during the course of operation. Ensure sufficient ventilation.

Some examples regarding the use of the operating functions:

Top heat: perfect for scalloping casseroles, gratins, etc.

Top/bottom heat: e.g. for pizza, cakes, etc. We recommend to shortly preheating the oven (approx. 15 minutes).

Switching off the device

• The device is completely switched off when all switches are turned to the positions "0" or "OFF".
• Unplug the device afterwards.

Cleaning

Warning:

• Unplug the device and allow the device to cool down.
• Do not immerse the device into water!

Attention:

• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
• Do not scratch the heating elements or coating of the baking tray.

Boiling plates

• Use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning the device.
• Use a dishwashing agent in case of heavy staining.

Oven

• You may clean all parts manually during a rinsing bath.
• Wipe the interior of the oven with a slightly damp cloth.
• Use a dishwashing agent in case of heavy staining.
  Wipe dry afterwards.
