Frequently Asked Questions - KNMICW620 KONIG

How to install the batteries in the microphone?
Open the battery compartment located under the microphone, insert two AA batteries respecting polarity (+/-), close the cover and turn on the microphone using the On/Off switch.
How to connect the receiver to a mixing console?
Use the unbalanced (6.35 mm jack) or balanced (XLR) outputs located at the back of the receiver. Connect the cable to the console or amplifier. For the unbalanced output, you can choose the mixed (A+B) or separate signal depending on the selector position.
How to select a channel on the microphone?
The microphone is pre-programmed on a channel in the 863‑865 MHz band. To change the frequency, use the receiver's selection keys (SELECT, UP, DOWN) to tune a new channel. Make sure the microphone and receiver are on the same frequency.
What to do if the microphone produces no sound?
Check that the microphone is on (LED indicator), that the batteries are installed and charged, that the receiver is powered on and the antennas are properly unfolded. Also ensure that the receiver volume is not at minimum and that the audio output is connected.
How to position the antennas for optimal reception?
Unfold the receiver's antennas and place them vertically. Avoid metal obstacles and maintain a distance of at least 1 meter between the antennas and other electronic devices to minimize interference.
Can I use multiple Konig KNMICW620 microphones simultaneously?
Yes, the system allows using multiple microphones as long as they are set to different frequencies within the authorized band (840‑868 MHz). Use the manual search function to find free channels.
How to clean the microphone and receiver?
Use a dry, soft cloth. Never use solvents, abrasive products or liquids. Avoid moisture and never immerse the devices in water.
What does the 'MUTE' display on the receiver mean?
The 'MUTE' display indicates that the microphone is off or there is no signal reception. In this case, no audio output is sent to the console or amplifier. Turn on the microphone or check the connection.
What is the battery life and how to extend it?
AA batteries last approximately 4 to 6 hours. To extend the life, turn off the microphone when not in use and remove the batteries if the device remains inactive for a long time.
Where to dispose of the device at the end of its life?
Do not dispose of the device with household waste. Deposit it at a collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in accordance with local regulations.
