Frequently Asked Questions - KNMICW610UK KONIG

How to set up the wireless microphone?
Connect the receiver to the power supply and to the mixing console or amplifier via the 6.35 mm or XLR outputs. Insert 2 AA batteries into the microphone, then turn on the microphone and the receiver. The antennas must be raised for optimal reception.
What is the range of the microphone?
The typical range is about 30 meters in open field, but it may vary depending on obstacles and interference. Use the antennas in a vertical position to improve reception.
Can both microphones be used simultaneously?
Yes, both microphones operate on different UHF frequencies (863.20 MHz and 865.00 MHz) without interference. You can use them together for duets or presentations.
What type of batteries to use and what is their battery life?
Use 2 AA 1.5 V batteries per microphone. Battery life is about 4 to 6 hours depending on use. The status indicator lights up continuously when batteries are low.
How to connect the receiver to an amplifier or mixer?
Use a 6.35 mm jack cable (unbalanced) or an XLR cable (balanced) to connect the receiver's audio output to the input of your amplifier or mixing console.
What to do if the sound is distorted?
Reduce the volume of the microphone or receiver. The peak indicator (flashing orange) indicates a signal that is too strong. Adjust the sensitivity or move the microphone away from the sound source.
How to clean the microphone?
Clean the exterior with a dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive products. Avoid moisture entering the grille or battery compartment.
Is the microphone compatible with all amplifiers?
Yes, thanks to the 6.35 mm and XLR outputs, it is compatible with most amplifiers, mixers, and sound systems. Make sure your device's input accepts the output level (0-±400 mV).
What safety precautions should be followed?
Never open the receiver or microphone. Unplug the device if a problem occurs. Avoid any exposure to water or moisture. Have repairs carried out by a qualified technician.
Does the microphone cause interference with other devices?
The microphones use dedicated UHF frequencies (863-865 MHz) and have a power of 10 mW, which minimizes interference. However, avoid using other wireless devices on the same frequency band.
