Information on Epilation
This product has been developed to carefully and thoroughly remove unwanted hair. The hair is removed by its roots and the skin remains smooth for several weeks. As the hairs that subsequently grow are soft and delicate, there is no more stubble.
This epilator has been developed for removing hair on the legs, but can also be used in other regions of the body.
Skin Irritation
If hairs are removed by the roots it is possible that the hairs which subsequently grow will grow into the skin. This leads to irritation such as reddening, burning or itching. These are normal reactions which mostly disappear again quickly.
During initial epilation these symptoms may be more severe. If you have sensitive skin anyway - or if these skin reactions last more than 36 hours - you should ask your doctor for advice.
As a rule the skin reactions and the pain sensations are considerably diminished after the device has been used several times.
Hygiene
For reasons of hygiene the device should be used by one individual only. Bacteria which penetrate the skin may result in infl ammation. For this reason you should clean the epilation head thoroughly each time before use. This largely reduces the danger of infections.
In which cases is medical advice required?
Do you have any doubts concerning whether you should use this device? In the following cases you should consult your doctor: if you suffer from eczema, cuts, inflamed skin reactions such as folliculitis (purulent hair follicles) and varicose veins; in the area of moles, if you have an impaired immune system of the skin (as can occur with diabetes), during pregnancy, if you have Raynaud's syndrome, if you are a haemophiliac or have an impaired immune system.
Tips
- The ideal hair length for epilation is 2 to 5 mm. We recommend that the hairs be shortened to this length beforehand.
- The first use of this device may result in reddening of the skin. It is best to epilate in the evening in order that the skin can recover overnight. Moisture creams may also help.
- Thin hairs can grow into the skin. Body peeling removes the top layer of the skin so that fine hairs can reach the surface.
How to Perform Epilation
- First charge up the battery.
- Clean the epilation head every time before use.
- Your skin must be dry and free of grease.
- Use the switch to select level «1» (normal speed) or «2» (increased speed).
- Use your free hand to make the skin taut so that the hairs stand on end.
i NOTE:
In order to ensure optimum epilation, hold the device at right angles (90°) to the skin and move it without pressure with the side on which the switch is located against the direction in which the hair grows.
Epilation of the Legs
Epilate from the bottom to the top. When you remove hairs from the hollow of the knee, the leg must always be kept straight.

- Clean the area which you would like to epilate thoroughly beforehand and dry it off.
- When performing epilation in the area of your armpits you should stretch your arm upwards and move the device in various directions.
Switching off
- Turn the device off after use and replace the protective cap.
Cleaning
Turn the device off and remove the mains plug if it is still in the socket. Clean the epilation head after use every time.
