• Theapplianceisdesignedexclusivelyforprivateuseand for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immedi- ately.

• Whencleaningorputtingitaway,switchofftheappli- ance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.

• Donotoperatethemachinewithoutsupervision.Ifyou leave the room you should always turn the device off. Remove the plug from the socket.

Adjust Heating Plate Angle For ergonomic use of the device by right-handed and left- handed persons, the heating plates can be swiveled up to 30° to the left and the right.

1. Lift the setting ring on the lock for the angle adjustment (1)

and turn it 90° counterclockwise.

2. Swivel the heating plate 15° or 30° to the left or the right.

Use the angles printed on the side for orientation.

3. To fix the heating plates rotate the lock for the angle

adjustment 90° clockwise and press the setting ring down again.

4. Set the angle of the other heating plate as described in

steps 1 to 3. Commissioning

1. Fully unwind the mains cable.

2. Insert the plug in a duly installed 230 V~, 50 Hz socket.

3. Press and hold the On / Off button (5) for 3 seconds to

switch the device on. NOTE:
