How to change the temperature unit from °C to °F?

Press the power button to turn on the thermometer. Then, press and hold the scan button for about 3 seconds to toggle between °C and °F. The device confirms the change with a beep.

How to clean the thermometer probe?

Use a clean cloth or a cotton swab soaked in isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the probe. Do not immerse the device in liquid. Allow to dry completely before next use.

When and how to replace the battery?

Replace the battery when the Lo symbol appears on the screen. Open the battery compartment cover on the back, remove the old battery and insert a new button cell (same type) respecting polarity (+/-). Close the cover.

What does the <b>Err</b> display on the screen mean?

The Err error indicates that the ambient temperature is outside the allowed operating range (usually between 10°C and 40°C). Place the thermometer in a room at moderate temperature and wait a few minutes before trying again.

How to take temperature in the ear correctly?

How to set the time on the thermometer?
