1. SAFETY INFORMATION
Before the installation and use of the appliance, carefully read the supplied instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible for any injuries or damages that are the result of incorrect installation or usage. Always keep the instructions in a safe and accessible location for future reference.
1.1 Children and vulnerable people safety
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children between 3 and 8 years of age and persons with very extensive and complex disabilities shall be kept away unless continuously supervised.
- Children of less than 3 years of age should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
- Do not let children play with the appliance.
- Keep all packaging away from children and dispose of it appropriately.
- Keep children and pets away from the appliance when it operates.
- Children shall not carry out cleaning and user maintenance of the appliance without supervision.
1.2 General Safety
- This appliance is intended for domestic use above hobs, cookers and similar cooking devices.
- Before carrying out any maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
- CAUTION: Accessible parts may become hot during use with cooking appliances.
- Use only the fixing screws supplied with the appliance. If not supplied, use the screws recommended in the installation instructions.
- Do not use adhesives to fix the appliance.
- The minimum distance between the hob surface on which the pans stand and the lower part of the appliance shall be at least 65 cm, unless otherwise specified in the installation instructions. If the hob installation instructions specify a greater distance, it must be taken into account.
- The discharge of air must comply with local authorities regulations.
- Ensure good air ventilation in the room where the appliance is installed to avoid the backflow of unwanted gases into the room from appliances burning gas or other fuels, including open fires.
- Make sure that the ventilation openings are not blocked and the air collected by the appliance is not conveyed into a duct used to
exhaust smoke and steam from other appliances (central heating systems, thermosiphons, water-heaters, etc.).
- When the appliance operates with other appliances the maximum vacuum generated in the room should not exceed 0.04 mbar.
- Make sure not to cause damage to the mains cable. Contact our Authorised Service Centre or an electrician to change a damaged mains cable.
- If the appliance is connected directly to the power supply, the electrical installation must be equipped with an isolating device that allows to disconnect the appliance from the mains at all poles. Complete disconnection must comply with conditions specified in the overvoltage category III. The means for disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring rules.
- Do not flambe under the appliance.
- Do not use to exhaust hazardous or explosive materials and vapours.
- Clean the appliance regularly to prevent the deterioration of the surface material.
- Clean the appliance with a soft cloth regularly.
- Do not use a steam cleaner, water spray, harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the surface of the appliance. Use only neutral detergents.
- Clean grease filters regularly (at least every 2 months) and remove grease deposits from the appliance to prevent the risk of fire.
- Use a cloth or brush to clean the interior of the appliance.
2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
2.1 Installation

- Only a qualified person must install this appliance.
- Do not install or use a damaged appliance.
- Follow the installation instructions supplied with the appliance.
- Always take care when moving the appliance as it is heavy. Always use safety gloves and enclosed footwear.
- Before installing the appliance remove all the packaging, the labelling and the protective film.
- Do not install the exhaust air into a wall cavity, unless the cavity is designed for that purpose.

2.2 Electrical connection

WARNING!
Risk of fire and electric shock.
- All electrical connections should be made by a qualified electrician.
- Make sure that the parameters on the rating plate are compatible with the electrical ratings of the mains power supply.
- If the symbol (回) is not printed on the rating plate, the appliance must be earthed. Always use a correctly installed shockproof socket.
- Do not let the electricity mains cable tangle.
- Do not use multi-plug adapters and extension cables.
- If the mains socket is loose, do not connect the mains plug.
- Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect the appliance. Always pull the mains plug.
- The shock protection of live and insulated parts must be fastened in such a way that it cannot be removed without tools.
- Make sure the appliance is installed correctly. Loose and incorrect electricity mains cable can make the terminal become too hot.
- Connect the appliance at the end of the installation. Make sure that there is access to the mains after the installation.
2.3 Use

- Do not change the specification of this appliance.
- Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or when it has contact with water.
- Use only the accessories supplied with the appliance.
- Keep flames or heated objects away from fats and oils during cooking and frying.
- Do not use uncovered electric grates.
- Do not use the appliance as a storage surface.
- Do not use magnifying glasses, binoculars or similar optical devices to look directly at the lighting of the appliance.
2.4 Service
To repair the appliance contact an Authorised Service Centre. - Use original spare parts only.
2.5 Disposal
WARNING! Risk of injury or suffocation.
- Contact your municipal authority for information on how to discard the appliance correctly.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains supply.
- Cut off the mains electrical cable close to the appliance and dispose of it.
3. MAINTENANCE
Clean grease filters in relation to use, at least every 2 months to prevent the risk of fire. Hand wash or clean in a dishwasher using a neutral detergent. If washing in the dishwasher, possible discoloration of the filters does not in any way compromise their functioning.

The activated charcoal filter is not washable and cannot be regenerated, and must be replaced approximately every 4 months of operation, or more frequently for particularly heavy usage.

4. CONTROLS

A: Motor ON/OFF
B: first speed motor

E: Intensive speed. This speed is timed to run for 8 minutes. At the end of this time, the hood turns back automatically to the speed that was set before using this function. To switch off the speed, push key "Motor On/Off" (A).
F: Model KFVB19K. Intensive speed. This speed is timed to run for 5 minutes. At the end of this time, the hood turns back automatically to the speed that was set before using this function. To switch off the speed, push key "Motor On/Off" (A).
M: Breeze function. This function can work for a maximum time of 1 hour. At the end of the time, the motor switches off. To deactivate breeze function, touch key "Motor On/Off" (A) or another speed key.
N: Filters alarm indicator/Reset. When the
indicator is on, the grease filters must be cleaned (40 hours of operation). When the indicator is flashing, the charcoal filters must be replaced (160 hours of operation) and the grease filters must be cleaned. Obviously, if the hood is not a filtering model and does not have charcoal filters, clean only the grease filters. The filter alarm can be seen for about 30 seconds, when the hood is in Stand By. To RESET the hour counter, press for 3 seconds the indicator, when the hood is in off state.
O: H2H indicator. The indicator is on when the hood is working controlled by the hob. In case of no connection between hob & hood, the indicator is not backlighted.
L: Model EFV716K-EFV719K-LFV616K-LFV619K-LFV616Y-LFV619Y-LFV616W-LFV619W. Light ON/OFF.
L: Model KFVB19K. Light. Short press turns the light On/Off, long press dims it.
5. INSTALLATION METHODS
FILTERING OR DUCTING VERSION?
The hood may be in filtering or in ducting version. Decide from the outset which type is to be installed.
For better efficiency, we recommend installing the hood in the ducting version (if possible).

Ducting version
The hood purifies the air and evacuates it to the outside through an exhaust duct.

Filtering version
The hood purifies the air and recycles the clean air back into the room.
6. LIGHTING
If the light spot is damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
7. ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS
Recycle materials with the symbol. Put the packaging in relevant containers to recycle it. Help protect the environment and human health by recycling waste of electrical and electronic appliances. Do not dispose of appliances marked with the symbol with the household waste. Return the product to your local recycling facility or contact your municipal office.

Make sure to have the following information on hand when you contact the authorized service center: Model, Product Code (PNC), Serial Number.

- Do not use glue to fix the device.

- Be careful not to damage the power cord. To replace a damaged power cord, contact our authorized service center or an electrician with the necessary and sufficient qualifications.
- If the hood is not equipped with a plug (direct connection to the mains) and the socket is not accessible after installation, use an omnipolar switch that ensures complete disconnection from the mains under overvoltage category III conditions, in accordance with the installation instructions.
- It is strictly forbidden to prepare food over an open flame under the hood.
- Do not use the appliance for exhausting hazardous or explosive substances.
- The appliance should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth to prevent damage to the surface material. Do not use abrasive cleaners, water sprays, abrasive cleaning agents, or sharp metal scrapers to clean the appliance surface. Use only neutral cleaning agents. Do not leave the hood without properly installed lamps due to the risk of electric shock. - If the symbol (回) is not printed on the technical data plate, the device must be earthed. Always use a properly installed and earthed socket. Do not leave the power cable hanging freely.
- Do not use multi-

If the socket is loose, do not connect the device to it. - Do not connect the device with a damaged power cable. Check the cable. The protective earth conductor must be installed in such a way that disconnection is impossible without the use of tools. - Make sure that the device is earthed correctly. A loose or incorrect earth connection can cause overheating of the contacts. - The device must be connected only after earthing is completed. Make sure that the earthing of the power source is intact.

3. MAINTENANCE
Clean the filters for dust depending on the level of use, at least every 2 months, to prevent potential fire.
Clean the filters with a vacuum cleaner or rinse with water. If rinsed with water, let the filters dry completely before reinstalling them, otherwise the device may not function properly.

If the filter is too dirty to be cleaned and cannot be restored, it must be replaced approximately every 4 months of use, or more often in case of particularly intensive use.

4. CONTROL

A: Motor Start/Stop

At the end of this time, the motor automatically switches to the speed that was set before using this function. To switch off the speed, press the "Motor Start/Stop" button (A).
F: Model KFVB19K. Intensive speed. The intensive speed is set to work for 5 minutes. At the end of this time, the appliance automatically switches to the speed that was set before using this function. To switch off the speed, press the "Motor Start/Stop" button (A).
M: Function speed: This function activates a very low speed for maximum
1 hour. At the end of this time, the motor switches off. To deactivate it, press the "Motor Start/Stop" button (A) or any other speed button.
N: Filter indicator / Reset. When the indicator lights up, the grease filters must be cleaned (after 40 hours of operation). When the indicator flashes, the activated carbon filter must be replaced (after 160 hours of operation), and the grease filters must be cleaned. If there is no activated carbon filter, clean only the grease filters. The filter indicator will be visible for about 30 seconds when the appliance is in standby mode. To reset the counter, press the indicator for 3 seconds with the appliance switched off.
O: Automatic switch-on indicator / Remote control. The indicator lights up when the appliance is controlled by the remote control. If there is no connection between the remote control and the appliance, the indicator does not light up.

1.2 Safety requirements for installation
The appliance is intended for use on a stable surface, away from heat sources and other appliances. Before performing any maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the power supply. - CAUTION: To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not use the appliance near water. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. If the appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately and do not reach into the water. Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
- If the installation instructions do not specify a different distance, maintain a minimum distance of 65 cm between the appliance and any wall or surface that may be damaged by steam. If the installation instructions specify a larger distance, follow that.
- The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
- Do not use the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged, or if the appliance has been dropped or damaged. To avoid the risk of fire, do not place the appliance near flammable materials.
- During installation, ensure that the device is not placed near other devices that emit heat or in places where it would be exposed to direct sunlight (such as near radiators, thermos flasks, water heaters, etc.).

2.2 Electrical Connection

- The electrical connection must only be made by a trained specialist. Check the device parameters before connecting it to the power supply. If the device is not equipped with a standard plug, it must be connected by a professional.
- Connect the device to a properly installed and grounded power outlet.
- Do not use the device with a damaged power cord. If there are damaged outlets or extension cords,
do not use them.
- If the outlet is loose, do not connect the device to it. Pull the plug out of the outlet. Do not touch the plug with wet hands. Store the device and its accessories in a dry place, protected from moisture. Do not operate the device if it has been dropped or damaged. Do not pull the cord to disconnect the device. Do not use the device near water. If the device is not working properly, contact a qualified technician.

Do not place the device on or near a hot surface. Do not leave the device unattended while it is in operation.

Contact a qualified technician for maintenance. - Only use original spare parts.

3. TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE
To prevent electric shock, check the supply lines for damage at least every 2 years.

After cleaning, reinsert it. To insert the filter, press the "Filter removal/insertion" (A) button or press the other button.
N: If the filter is dirty, clean the low-pressure filter (at least every 40 hours of operation). If the filter is heavily contaminated, replace the coarse filter (at least every 160 hours of operation) and clean the low-pressure filter. If the coarse filter is not available, only clean the low-pressure filter. If the filter is dirty and the unit is in "Stand by" mode, wait 30 seconds before operating. Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner and replace it if necessary.

The holes for the gas are not intended for gas cylinders.

1. SAFETY INFORMATION
Before installing and using the appliance, carefully read the supplied instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible for any injuries or damages that result from incorrect installation or usage. Always keep these instructions in a safe and accessible location for future reference.
1.1 Safety of children and persons with reduced capabilities
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. -Children aged from 3 to 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
- Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. -Children shall not play with the appliance. -Children must not come into contact with the packaging; remove it before use. -Children and pets must not come near the appliance while it is operating.
- Children must not perform cleaning or maintenance of the appliance without supervision.
1.2 General safety rules
-The appliance is intended for domestic use, not for commercial or industrial use. -Before any maintenance, the appliance must be disconnected from the power supply. WARNING: Accessible parts may become hot during use with the appliance for cooking. -For mounting the appliance, use only the screws supplied with the appliance; if they are not supplied, use the screws recommended in the installation instructions. Do not use the screws to fix the appliance. -The minimum distance between the hob surface and the bottom of the appliance above it must be at least 65 cm, unless otherwise stated in the installation instructions. If a greater distance is specified in the installation instructions for the hob, that must be respected. -The discharge of exhaust air must be in accordance
with local and national regulations.
- In the room where the appliance is installed, adequate ventilation must be ensured to avoid the risk of backflow of gases into the room from appliances that burn gas or other fuels, including open fires.
- Ensure that the ventilation openings are not blocked and that the air inlet of the appliance is not connected to a duct used for ventilation of rooms with other appliances (central heating, thermosiphons, boilers, etc.). -If the appliance operates together with other appliances, the maximum vacuum generated in the room must not exceed 0.04 mbar. Be careful not to damage the power cord. For replacement of a damaged power cord, contact the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons.
- The device must be connected directly to the power source, and the electrical installation must be equipped with a disconnecting/switch-off device that will enable the device to be completely disconnected from the power supply.
