- All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
- This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years old and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children unless they are over 8 years old and are under supervision.
- Keep this appliance and its power cable out of reach of children under the age of 8.
- Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary if the appliance is used by or near children.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.
- This symbol means “Caution, hot surface”. The accessible surfaces of the appliance may reach high temperatures during operation. Be careful not to burn yourself.

- Place the appliance on an even, heat-resistant surface. Do not place the appliance near heat sources, places with high humidity levels, or combustible materials.
- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the appliance marking and that the mains plug is earthed.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable, plug, or frame is damaged or if it is malfunctioning, has been dropped, or damaged.
- Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow the cable to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation. Unplug the appliance from the wall socket when you have finished using it, when you leave the room where it is located, when it is not being used, and before cleaning it. Pull from the plug, not the cable, to disconnect it from the outlet.
- Do not insert objects (utensils, fingers, or any other foreign object) into the appliance, as this may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
- If the appliance does not work properly or if you notice fire or smoke, switch it off immediately and unplug the appliance from the mains.

- During use, the appliance is very hot and will remain hot for some time when switched off. Do not touch hot surfaces such as the heating base.
- Some steam may be released by the food during cooking. For your safety, avoid contact with the steam, as it is very hot and can cause burns.
- If a longer removable power cable or extension lead is used:
- Be careful when using them.
- The electrical rating of the cable or extension lead must be equal to or greater than the electrical rating of the appliance.
- If you use a longer cable or extension lead, make sure that the cable does not hang over the countertop or table where you are going to place it, as you could pull it out and unintentionally disconnect it or trip over it.
- The manufacturer does not recommend the use of this appliance in countries that do not support 120V AC even if an adapter, transformer or voltage converter is being used.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the device if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
- Do not remove the serial number of the appliance in order to keep a correct traceability of it in case of assistance.

3. OPERATION
Note: always connect the plug to the appliance first, then plug the cable into the socket. To switch off and unplug the appliance, move the switch to the off position and then pull out the plug from the socket.
- Before the first use, clean the heating base, trays and moulds with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry thoroughly.
Note: be very careful that no water enters the heating base, or the appliance will not work.
- Find a dry, heat-resistant surface near an electrical outlet.
- Fit the storage trays and join them forming a full circle.
- Then, fill the trays 3/4 full of ice.
- Place the silicone moulds on the storage trays.
- Place the heating base in place in the centre of the trays and set the power switch to the | position.
- Subsequently, place the small bowl on the heating base. Using your own recipe, or the following recipe included in this instruction manual, prepare the gelatine mixture in the small bowl and then heat it using the heating base.
Note:
- Be careful not to overfill the bowl.
- DO NOT exceed maximum capacity.
- Some steam may be released by the mixture during cooking. For your safety, avoid contact with the steam, as it is very hot and can cause burns.

Stir the mixture if necessary. Do not allow the mixture to boil, as this may cause burns.

In five to ten minutes, when the mixture is not set, carefully pour it into the moulds.
- When you have finished filling the silicone moulds, move the switch to the off position O and switch off the appliance.
- In about five to ten minutes, the sweets will have solidified and are ready to be removed from the silicone moulds.
- Once the appliance is cool, empty the remaining gelatine mixture into a bag or waste container and follow the Maintenance and Cleaning instructions.
Useful tips

Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.
NOTE: ice cubes can be placed in the storage trays to allow the necessary temperature to settle the gelatine mixture. You can replace the ice cubes in the trays as they melt.
Recipes
NOTE: the capacity of the appliance is approximately 250 ml.
1. Natural fruit gummies
Ingredients
- 250 ml of fruit juice (orange, strawberry, apple, etc.)

3 tablespoons of unflavoured gelatine powder
-
2-3 tablespoons of honey or sugar (set to taste)

1 lemon juice teaspoon

Switch on the Fun&Sugar Gummy.
- Preheat the heating base.
- In the small bowl, mix the fruit juice, gelatine powder and honey or sugar.
- Add the lemon juice and mix well.
- Place the bowl on the heating base and heat the mixture, stirring constantly until the gelatine and sugar are completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the hot mixture into the silicone moulds.
- Allow to cool at room temperature for about 20 minutes and then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Once the gummies are firm, unmould and enjoy.
2. Honey and lemon gummies
Ingredients
- 250 ml of water
- 3 tablespoons of unflavoured gelatine powder
- 2 tablespoons of honey

2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice

- In the small bowl, mix the water, gelatine powder and honey.
- Add the lemon juice and mix well.
- Place the bowl on the heating base and heat the mixture, stirring constantly until the gelatine and honey are completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the hot mixture into the silicone moulds.
- Allow to cool at room temperature for about 20 minutes and then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Once the gummies are firm, unmould and enjoy.
3. Green tea and honey gummies
Ingredients
- 250 ml of freshly brewed green tea
- 3 tablespoons of unflavoured gelatine powder
- 2 tablespoons of honey

Optional: a few drops of peppermint extract

Switch on the Fun&Sugar Gummy.

Preheat the heating base.

In the small bowl, mix the green tea, gelatine powder and honey.
- Add the peppermint extract, if desired, and mix well.
- Place the bowl on the heating base and heat the mixture, stirring constantly until the gelatine and honey are completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the hot mixture into the silicone moulds.
- Allow to cool at room temperature for about 20 minutes and then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Once the gummies are firm, unmould and enjoy.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before performing any cleaning or maintenance task, switch off the appliance and unplug it from the mains.
- Before cleaning the appliance, make sure that it is completely cool.
- Remove all parts from the heating base.
- Dispose of the rest of the leftover mixture in a bag or bin. It is not recommended that you pour the excess mixture down the sink.
- Hand wash the heating base, small bowl and storage trays in warm, soapy water with a non-abrasive cloth.
- Dry the parts thoroughly with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
- Dry the heating base with a dry, non-abrasive cloth. Make sure that no water enters the interior.
- Do not place any parts in the dishwasher, except for the silicone moulds. The silicone moulds can be washed in the dishwasher if desired.
- Never immerse the heating base or the cable in water.
