- Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the device rating label and that the plug is earthed.
- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.
- If the appliance falls accidentally in water, unplug it immediately. Do not touch the water!
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any danger.
- Do not use the appliance if its cable, plug, or housing are damaged, nor after it malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any way.
- Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow the cable to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains supply when not in use and before cleaning it. Pull from the plug, not the cable, to disconnect it from the outlet.

- The appliance is not intended to be used by children under the age of 8. It can be used by children over the age of 8, as long as they are given continuous supervision.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance tasks should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children.

- Place the appliance on a dry, stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.

The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high while the appliance is in use and could cause burns. Do not touch hot surfaces during operation or immediately after.
- Do not pour oil into the device's cooking cavity.
- Do not cover the appliance during operation.
- Unplug the appliance immediately if fire or smoke is observed.
- Never leave the device unattended during use. Unplug the device after use and when you leave the room where it is installed.
- Do not try to repair the appliance by yourself. Contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service for advice.
- Cleaning and maintenance must be carried out according to this instruction manual to make sure the appliance functions properly. Turn off and unplug the appliance before moving and cleaning it. Make sure the device has completely cooled down before storing it.
- Do not wash the appliance in dishwashers.
- Store the appliance and its instruction manual in a safe and dry place when not in use.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

Before using the appliance for the first time, clean and dry all parts that will come into contact with food and the top cover completely.
3. OPERATION
- Place the appliance on an even, heat-resistant surface. Do not place the appliance near heat sources, places with high humidity levels, or combustible materials.
- Plug the appliance into an appropriate wall outlet. The plug must be easily accessible to disconnect it quickly in case of an emergency.
Please note
You may notice a slight burning smell or smoke when using the appliance for the first time, caused by the excess of lubricants from the manufacturing process. Ensure good ventilation and let the appliance work until no odour or smoke can be noticed.

After a short cooling down period, your appliance will be ready for use.

Fill the measuring cup with corn kernels (around 60 g).
-
Pour the corn kernels into the corn cavity.
-
Place the measuring cup into position inside the cover and the cover on the main body of the appliance.

Place a heat-resistant bowl beneath the popcorn exit.

Plug the appliance into an appropriate wall outlet.

Turn the power switch to position "I". The appliance will start working.
Warning
- Do not use the appliance without the cover and the measuring cup in place.
- Do not remove the measuring cup or the cover while the appliance is working.
- Once popcorn is ready, turn the switch to position "O", unplug the appliance and let it cool down.
- Once cold, remove any left corn kernels from the cavity of the appliance.
Warning
- Do not add salt, sugar, oil, butter or any other food, except corn kernels, in the cavity of the appliance. This could damage it and would void the warranty. If you wish to add salt, do it in a separate container.
- Before preparing another batch of popcorn, remove any left corn kernels from the cavity of the appliance.
- Fresh corn kernels give better results. Once the pack of corn kernels has been opened, it should be stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
- Allow the machine to cool down for at least 10 minutes between uses.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Turn off the appliance, unplug it and let it cool down before cleaning it.
- Use a soft wet cloth to clean the outer surface of the popcorn maker and dry it afterwards with a dry cloth or kitchen paper. Do not use abrasive detergents, steel wool, or scouring pads.
- Wipe the interior of the popcorn maker with a dry cloth. Make sure no liquid enters the cavity of the appliance to prevent damaging it.

- All detachable parts of the appliance should be cleaned regularly with hot soapy water. Dry them completely before placing them into their respective places.
