How do I install the filter in the H2onature 2400 Active pitcher?

Remove the filter from its packaging, rinse it under cold water for 10 seconds in an upright position, then firmly press it into the reservoir tube until it is securely in place. Then replace the lid.

How do I reset the filter change indicator?

Press and hold the indicator button for 5 seconds until the screen flashes "00". Release, then briefly press to display the number of remaining days. The indicator is then reset.

When should I replace the filter?

The filter should be replaced when the indicator reaches the scheduled replacement date, usually after about 30 days or after filtering a certain volume of water. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Can I use hot or warm water?

No, fill the pitcher only with cold or room-temperature water. Hot water could damage the filter and reduce its effectiveness.

Can the pitcher be placed in the dishwasher?

No, the pitcher and its accessories are not dishwasher-safe. Clean them by hand with a soft cloth and soap.

Is the water drinkable immediately after the first refills?

After installing the filter, you must complete 3 full fill-and-filter cycles. Once these 3 cycles are done, the filtered water is ready to drink.

What should I do if the filter has not been in contact with water for 2 days?

Let the filter soak in water for 10 minutes, then reinstall it. This helps rehydrate the filter and maintain its performance.

Is the pitcher suitable for babies or sensitive individuals?

People with weakened immune systems (babies, the elderly) should follow medical recommendations regarding water. If their doctor advises boiling the water, this should be done before or after filtration.

How do I clean the pitcher and reservoir?

Use a soft cloth or sponge with soapy water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and let dry. Do not use abrasive products.

Why is the indicator flashing?

The indicator flashing may indicate that the filter needs to be replaced or that the battery is low. If the screen flashes "00", reset the indicator or replace the filter.

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users. All safety instructions should be closely followed when using the appliance.

This product is designed only for household use.

This product is intended to be filled with tap water only. Do not use water of unknown quality.

People with weak immune systems, such as babies or elders, must boil the water before or after the filtration if they have been recommended to do this before drinking it.

We recommend using only the filter included with the product or similar ones, as the use of other kind of filter may change the result.

Fill the product only with cold or room-temperature water. Avoid filling it with warm or hot water.

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents to clean the jar.

This product is not dishwasher safe.

If the jar or the tank are broken or cracked, you must replace the whole product. In case only the filter is damaged, replace only the filter.

The appliance is not intended to be used by children under the age of 8. It can be used by children over the age of 8, as long as they are given continuous supervision.

This product can be used by children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Supervise children, they shall not play with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children.

Take the product out of the box.

Remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box.

Make sure all the components are included and in good conditions, otherwise, contact immediately the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.

3. PRODUCT ASSEMBLY

Remove the lid by pressing the tabs on both sides and pulling up.

Remove the filter (inside the packaging) from the jar and set aside.

Clean the jar, tank and lid with a soft cloth or a sponge and a mild liquid soap. Rinse it and a let it dry.

Warning: The scrubber side of a sponge may scratch the surface of the jar, so we recommend using only the soft side.

Place the tank back to the jar as shown in the image. The longest part of the tank must face the front of the jar.

Installation of the filter

Remove the filter from its package. Wash it upright with cold or room-temperature water for 10 minutes. Rinse the filter under running water for 10 seconds.

Press it down firmly into the tank's tube to ensure a tight sealing.

4. OPERATION

This product filters the impurities of tap water while improving its smell, taste and clarity. It also provides a more economical and environmental-friendly alternative to buying bottled water.

Filling the jar

Use cold or room-temperature water to fill the jar.

Press down the tab next to the filter's lifespan indicator to open the filling opening in the lid.

Fill the tank with water and allow all the water to filter through. Pour the water out and repeat. Repeat this process three times. After the third, water will be ready to drink.

Make sure all the water has passed through the filter before pouring it.

Setting the filter's lifespan indicator

Press the filter's lifespan indicator button for 5 seconds until the display shows "00" blinking.

Press it again and the filter's lifespan will be displayed (in days).

For achieving better results, make sure the bottom of the filter is always in contact with water so it will not dry out. If the filter has not been in contact with water for two days in a row, soak it for 10 minutes and then re-install it.

Store the jar in the refrigerator or in a cool location. If the water has been inside the jar for several days, pour it out and refill the jar with fresh water.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the product's surface.

Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners.

Replacing the filter

When the date on the filter's lifespan indicator is reached, replace the filter. Disassemble it using its tab. Repeat the steps above to install a new filter

The warranty will not cover the following situations:

The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
