Frequently Asked Questions - RCVG-30A Royal Catering

How to use the RCVG-30A vacuum packaging machine?
Place the food in a suitable bag, insert the open end into the slot, close the lid and press the Start button. The device vacuums the air then seals the bag automatically.
What types of bags can I use with the RCVG-30A?
Use bags specially designed for vacuum packaging, preferably with a textured surface. The maximum width is 30 cm.
How to clean the device after use?
Unplug the device and let it cool down. Clean the housing and the sealing bar with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Never immerse the device in water.
What to do if the seal does not hold?
Check that the sealing bar is clean and the bag is properly positioned. Make sure the sealing time is sufficient. If the problem persists, the welding seal may be worn and needs to be replaced.
The device makes an abnormal noise, what should I do?
This may be due to incorrect bag positioning or a pump blockage. Check that the bag is not crumpled and that the vacuum slot is clean. If the noise persists, contact customer service.
Can I package liquids with the RCVG-30A?
Yes, but use a suitable container (e.g. vacuum bowl) or first freeze the liquid in a freezer bag before vacuuming. Avoid filling the bag to the brim to prevent overflow.
How to replace the welding seal?
Unplug the device. Carefully remove the old seal using a flathead screwdriver. Place the new seal by pressing firmly. Refer to the manual for more details.
What is the lifespan of the device?
With regular maintenance, the RCVG-30A can last several years. Replace wear parts (seal, fuse) if necessary. The warranty is 2 years.
Can I use the device with non-compatible bags?
No, using bags not designed for vacuuming can damage the device and reduce vacuum efficiency. Only use bags recommended by Royal Catering.
The device does not turn on, what should I check?
Check that the power cord is properly plugged in and the outlet works. If the device has a protection fuse, check its condition. If the problem persists, contact technical support.
