WARNINGS

• WARNING: Do not use this product once your child can sit up unaided or weighs more than 9 kg.

• WARNING: To avoid injury ensure that children are kept away when unfolding and folding this product.
• WARNING: Do not let children play with this product.
• WARNING: Always supervise children playing near the swing and the USB power cable.

• WARNING: Do not move or lift this product with the baby inside it.

• Never allow your child to sleep in this product. This product does not replace a cot or a bed. Should your child need to sleep, he/she should be placed in a suitable cot or bed.

• Do not use the product if any components are broken, torn or missing.
• Do not use accessories or replacement parts other than those approved by the manufacturer.
• Ensure that the safety harnesses and the crotch straps are properly adjusted when your child is placed in the seat.
• Ensure that the cover is always properly fixed to the structure tubes on the seat and backrest.
• Do not put more than one child on the swing at a time.
• Do not use the product on soft surfaces such as beds, sofas and pillows, as the product could overturn and cause suffocation.

• Never leave the swing on surfaces that are not perfectly horizontal.

• Do not lift the product by the toybar.

• To prevent risks and fire hazards, do not leave the swing near sources of heat, electric or gas appliances, etc.
• Make sure that all parts are correctly hooked to the mounts.
• Ensure that the product is fully assembled before use.
• Periodically check for any worn parts, loose screws, worn or unstitched materials and replace any damaged parts immediately.
• Do not place the swing near windows or walls where cables, curtains or other items are that the child could climb up or that could cause suffocation or strangulation.
• To prevent the risk of the child pushing with his or her feet and overturning the swing, do not place the swing near windows or walls.
• Always check that there are no objects blocking the swing or interfering with the movement of the swing.
• Do not add cords to lengthen the fastening system for hanging toys and do not insert knots or loops: this may cause the accidental formation of slip knots that could cause strangling hazards.
• Keep the product out of reach of children when it is not being used.

ELECTRICAL PART SAFETY

• The motorised mechanism that moves the swing and the sound panel are powered by batteries or a power cable that can be plugged into any USB socket.
• WARNING: Long cable. Strangling hazard.
• WARNING: The cable jack must only be attached to the swing by an adult.
• The reclined cradle can be powered with the USB power cable (provided) using an external power supply (not included) with a range of 5 to 6 Volts (the transformer for a mobile phone charger, for example)
• To operate with the USB power cable, connect the power cable jack to the power supply connector
• WARNING: The transformer used with the product must be inspected periodically to ensure that the cable, plug, sheath, and other components are not damaged, and it must not be used if damaged.
• WARNING: The product must only be used with the recommended transformer.
• WARNING: Only use power transformers that conform to EN 61558-2-7 or EN 61558-2-16.
• The swing must be switched on and off by an adult.
• To insert (or change) the batteries: loosen the screw on the battery compart-

ment cover with a screwdriver and open the cover. Next, remove the finished batteries and fit new ones, ensuring that they have been fitted with correct polarity (as shown on the product), close the battery cover, and tighten the screw. Four C-size batteries (4 x 1.5V) will be required.

• Only use alkaline batteries of the same type or equivalent to the type recommended for the correct functioning of this product
• Batteries must only be replaced by an adult.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged.
• Never use new and old batteries together as this will allow the product not to function properly.
• Make sure the batteries are fitted with their poles in the right direction.
• Always remove spent batteries from the product. Take care to dispose of the batteries properly.
  • The batteries could leak acid or explode if thrown in fire.
  • Always dispose of leaking batteries immediately: they could cause skin injuries or other personal wounds.
• WARNING: Dispose of used batteries immediately. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If there is reason to believe that the batteries have been swallowed or inserted into any part of the body, seek immediate medical advice.

• Do not leave the product exposed to the rain; water will damage the electronic circuit.
• Only use batteries that are equivalent to the type recommended.
• Remove the batteries when the swing and the console will not be used for long periods of time.
• Never short circuit the battery terminals.
• If the swing music console is left unused for long periods of time, it is recommended the batteries be removed from the battery unit.
• The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended as they may reduce the product's operability.
• Rechargeable batteries must be charged only under adult supervision.
• Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the product during recharging.
• Remove batteries from the product before disposing of it.
  • Always keep batteries and tools out of reach of children.

Check that the fabric and stitching are in good condition each time you wash it. Over-exposure to sun or heat can cause some components to fade and become deformed. To clean the structure, wipe the frame with a clean, damp cloth and neutral soap. Do not submerge the frame in water.

WARRANTY

The product is guaranteed against any lack of conformity under normal use as specified in the instructions. The warranty does not, therefore, apply to damage caused by improper use, wear or accidents. For the duration of the warranty on conformity defects, please refer to the specific provisions of national laws applicable in the country of purchase.

This product complies with directive 2012/19/EU.

The crossed bin symbol on the appliance indicates that the product, at the end of its life, must be disposed of separately from domestic waste, either by taking it to a separate waste disposal site for electric and electronic appliances or by returning it to your dealer when you buy another similar appliance. The user is responsible for taking the appliance to a special waste disposal site at the end of its life. If the unwanted appliance is collected correctly as separate waste, it can be recycled, treated and disposed of ecologically; this avoids a negative impact on both the environment and health, and contributes towards the recycling of the product's materials. Illegal disposal of the product by the user will result in administrative sanctions provided by law. For further information regarding the waste disposal services available, contact your local waste disposal agency or the shop where you bought the appliance.
