If the motorized rocking of your Chicco Swing&Play is not working, here are the checks to perform:

Check the power supply

If you are using batteries: Check that the 4 alkaline C batteries (1.5V) are correctly installed respecting the marked polarities. The batteries may be discharged and need replacement.
If you are using the USB cable: Ensure that the cable is properly connected to a 5-6V source and that the connection is secure. Test with another source to rule out a charger issue.

Test the operation

Once the power supply is checked, activate the rocking and observe if the rocking motion starts. If nothing happens, try adjusting the batteries again, ensuring the correct orientation of the positive and negative contacts.

Important safety points

Reminder: the Chicco Swing&Play rocker works properly up to a maximum of 9 kg. Beyond that, or if your child can sit up alone, the product should no longer be used.

If after these checks the rocking still does not restart, there may be a defect in the motor or internal electronics - then contact Chicco customer service with your serial number.
