2. Only use clear, hygienically safe (drinking water quality) water in the tank. Do not add any fragrance oils, chemicals, disinfectants, or other additives, as these may damage the device, impair the atomization function, and cause health risks.

3. Remove the packaging and ensure that the device is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use the device and contact the service center or your dealer.

4. Keep children away from packaging materials. If _ swallowed, there is a risk of suffocation!

5. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service center to avoid any possible risks.

6. Before connecting to the mains, check that the type of current and mains voltage match the information on the type plate on the device.

1. To avoid overloading, only connect the device to a power outlet that is not connected to any other appliances at the same time.

2. Only connect the device to its own, properly grounded power outlet (without additional connected consumers) to avoid overloads and malfunctions.

3. Avoid using extension cords in general. If unavoidable, use only tested, grounded, high-performance extension cords with sufficient cross-section and do not connect multiple consumers to one extension cord.

4. It is prohibited to alter or modify the properties of this device. Only use replacement parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer (failure to do so will void the warranty and guarantee).

5. If the device is defective, switch it off and contact your dealer or the customer hotline.

6. Repairs to the device, power cord, or plug may only be carried out by the manufacturer or authorized service centers. Unauthorized interventions void the warranty and can be dangerous.

7. Children under 8 years of age and persons with limited physical, sensory, or mental abilities may only use the device under supervision and after instruction. Children must not play with the device.

8. Hygiene: This device produces a fine spray mist. Empty and clean the water tank at least once a week; use only drinking water quality water. For commercial or more frequent use (e.g., catering, events, indoor use), a written risk and hygiene assessment by the operator is required; observe local health regulations.

1. Ensure that the water level in the water tank does not exceed the maximum fill level to prevent overflowing.
2. Do not place the device near heat sources such as heaters or in direct sunlight.
3. Place the device on a stable and level surface to prevent it from tipping over.
4. Place the device at least 40 cm (approx. 15 in) away from walls, ceilings, and other objects so that the air supply and exhaust are not blocked (maintain rear and side clearances).
5. Never cover the device.
6. Never insert fingers, pens, or other objects into the device, and make sure that the air inlets and outlets are not blocked.
7. Always keep long hair, jewelry, and loose clothing away from the fan grille; there is a risk of entanglement, which can result in serious injury.

Technical information

If the fan needs to be stored for a long period of time and is not used regularly, place the fan in its original packaging in a dry place. When using it for the first time after a long period of inactivity, make sure that the fan is clean and that the motor blades can move freely (with the power disconnected).

Warning! Before installation, be sure to disconnect the power supply – out the power plug.

Select a level, clear area of at least 2 × 2 m for assembly.

1. Install the casters

Turn the base upside down.

Insert the five casters (part 11) into the base (part 8) and align the mounting holes.

Then secure the casters to the base using the M6 × 10 mm screws.

2. Connecting the base to the support column

Align the base (part 8) with the mounting hole on the support column (part 5).

Then attach the support column to the base using the M8 × 10 mm connecting screws (part 9).

3. Mount the atomizer plate with motor on the front protective grille

Remove the four M6 × 10 mm screws from the back of the atomizer plate (part 1).

Align the outlet of the atomizer plate with the marked position and the screw holes in the front protective grille (part 2).

Reinsert the screws and tighten them.

4. Mount the front protective grille

Align the front protective grille with the outlet of the atomizer plate and the rear grille bracket (part 3).

Insert the six M5 × 16 mm screws into the designated holes and tighten them.

5. Connect the fan head to the support column

Loosen the four screws on the grille bracket (part 3).

Then align the grille bracket with the four screw holes on the support column (part 5).

Reinsert the screws you removed earlier and tighten them.

6. Connect the water pipes

Insert the connection cable for the atomization, the water outlet hose, and the water inlet hose of the motor into the protective tube one after the other.

Then connect the male plug of the connection cable to the corresponding female plug on the water tank column.

Then connect the water outlet and water inlet hoses to the designated connections on the motor.

Finally, connect the protective tube to the protective tube head.

7. Connect the plug connections

Connect the male plug of the main motor to the corresponding female plug on the water tank column.

Finally, connect the protective tube to the protective tube head.

8. Fill the base with water

Remove the silicone plug (part 1) from the base.

Pour water into the filling opening of the base (part 2).

Then press the silicone plug firmly back into the opening.

9. Fill the tank with water

Press down on the water tank lid (part 1) to remove it.

Then pour an appropriate amount of clean water into the tank's filler opening (part 2).

Replace the lid and secure it tightly.

10. Drain the water

Remove the cover of the water tank.

There is a silicone plug (part 1) at the bottom inside the tank. Pull this out to drain the water.

Once the water has completely drained, replace the silicone plug and press it firmly into place (part 2).

Start-up and operation

Plug the power cord into the power outlet and press the desired function button to activate the corresponding function.

Caution!

• Ensure that all switches are set to OFF before connecting the device to the power supply.
• Only operate the fan when the protective grilles and fan blade are completely and correctly installed.

1. Fan function

• Press the " ⏻ " button to turn the fan on or off.
• Set the desired speed (level 1–8) using the rotary control.

○ Turning the control clockwise increases the speed from low to high.
○ Turning the control counterclockwise will decrease the speed from high to low.

- The display shows the currently set wind speed ( ).

2. Oscillation function

• Press the oscillation button to start the swivel movement of the fan head. The head will move continuously from side to side.
• Press the button again to stop the oscillating movement.

3. Spray mist function

- Fill the water tank with water.

There are 2 ways to fill the water tank:

a) Direct filling:

Fill water directly into the water tank to store it there.

b) Automatic water supply:

Connect the automatic water supply system to an external water hose. Use the supplied water valve adapter, which is attached to the water connection on the back of the device.

Use a water hose with an inner diameter of 15 mm for the water supply system (not included!).

• Press the " " button to activate the humidification function.
• Turn the " (Spray Mist) knob clockwise to increase the amount of mist.
• Turn the control counterclockwise to decrease the mist amount.

Remote control

- All of the functions described above can also be controlled using the remote control. To do this, press the corresponding function buttons.

- To use the remote control, insert 2x AAA batteries (1.5 V) into the battery compartment of the remote control.

Preparing the remote control – inserting or replacing batteries

Please follow the instructions below:

• To operate the remote control, please insert the 2x AAA batteries.

• Always observe the polarity markings (+/-) on the battery and in the battery compartment.

- Then push the battery compartment completely back into the remote control.

Correct use of the remote control

Point the remote control directly at the front of the device and make sure there are no obstacles between the remote control and the device.

NOTE: Please handle the remote control with care. Do not expose it to direct sunlight and keep it away from heat sources.

Cleaning

NOTE: Always disconnect the power plug from the socket before cleaning the device.

- Unplug the power cord before cleaning the device.

• Clean the water tank once a week to prevent limescale, algae, or bacteria build-up.
• If the fan is not used for a long period of time, empty the water tank and dry it with a microfiber cloth.
• If the fan is to be stored for a longer period of time (e.g., during winter), cover it with a suitable protective cover to prevent dust from entering important parts of the device.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemicals to avoid damaging the components.

Maintenance

• Always disconnect the device from the power supply before performing maintenance work.
• Clean the water tank regularly.
• Clean the housing only with a soft, slightly damp cloth and then wipe it with a dry cloth. Never immerse the fan in water.
• Do not open the device yourself. If you encounter any problems, contact your dealer or our service hotline.

Activities at the end of the season

• Switch off the device and unplug it.
  • Carefully empty and clean the water tank.
• Clean the cover grilles and replace them after they have dried.
  • Pack the device and store it in a cool, dry place.

Activities at the start of the season

• Ensure that the power cord is in good condition and that the grounding is working.
• Follow the installation and safety instructions carefully.

Disposal

Do not dispose of the mist fan with normal household waste. Take the device to a local collection or recycling point for electrical appliances.

With this quality product from BE COOL, you have made a choice for innovation, durability, and reliability.

We provide a 2-year warranty for this BECOOL device, valid in Austria from the date of purchase! If, contrary to expectations, your device requires servicing during this period, we hereby guarantee free repair (spare parts and labor) or (at the discretion of Schuss) replacement of the product. If neither repair nor replacement is possible for economic reasons, we reserve the right to issue a credit note for the current value.

In the case of air conditioners, please contact the customer hotline (see sticker on the device or cover page of the instruction manual) as a first step. For fans, please contact your dealer or us directly. Please note that repair work not carried out by an authorized repair shop in Austria will immediately void this warranty.

This warranty does not cover:

• We do not accept liability for consequential damage resulting from improper use.
• Repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear.
- Damage due to failure to follow the operating instructions.
• Devices that are used commercially, even if only partially.
• Devices that have been mechanically damaged by external influences (falls, impacts, breakage, improper use, etc.) as well as signs of wear and tear of an aesthetic nature.
• Devices that have been handled improperly
• Devices that have not been opened by our authorized service workshop.
- Damage caused by improperly closed condensation drain valves on air conditioning units or incorrectly installed water containers.
• Unmet consumer expectations.
• Damage caused by force majeure, water, lightning, or power surges.
• Devices on which the type designation and/or serial number has been changed, deleted, made illegible, or removed.
• Services outside our authorized repair shops, transport costs to an authorized repair shop or to us and back, and the associated risks.

We expressly point out that within the warranty period, a flat fee of €60 (indexed based on CPI 2010, June 2015) will be charged in the event of operating errors or if no fault is found.

The provision of a warranty service (repair or replacement of the device) does not extend the absolute warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The 2-year warranty is only valid upon presentation of the proof of purchase (must include the name and address of the dealer and the complete device description) and the corresponding warranty certificate, on which the device type and serial number (visible on the box and on the back or bottom of the device) must be noted! Without presentation of the warranty certificate, only the statutory warranty applies!

We expressly point out that the statutory warranty rights are not affected by this warranty and remain in full force and effect.

Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents shall only be liable for damages in cases of gross negligence or intent. In any case, liability for lost profits, expected but unrealized savings, consequential damages, and damages arising from third-party claims is excluded. Damage to or for recorded data is always excluded from the liability for damages.
