Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

  • All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
  • This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
  • Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the appliance marking and that the wall outlet is earthed.
  • Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service in order to avoid any type of danger.
  • Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
  • If the appliance falls accidentally into water, unplug it immediately. Do not touch the water!
  • Warning: micro-organisms may be present in the water or in the environment where the appliance is used or stored.

These micro-organisms can cause serious health problems if the water inside is not renewed, and the water tank is not cleaned every 3 days.

- Empty the tank and refill it every 3 days. Before refilling it, clean the tank with clear water. Remove any limescale incrustations, deposits, or layers or dirt that has formed on the sides or surfaces inside the tank. Dry all surfaces after cleaning.

- Do not operate the appliance if any fault or unusual sign is detected.

- Do not operate the product next to combustible or explosive gas.

- The appliance must not be placed immediately below a socket.

- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and other parts of the body away from the openings and moving parts of the appliance.

- Make sure the appliance is placed on a flat and stable surface and do not move it during operation.

- Do not use the appliance near a window or places where it could get wet (2 metres away), as water could cause an electric shock.

- Do not operate the product under or next to curtains.

- Do not cover the air inlet and outlet and do not place the product's cord under carpets or other objects during operation. Keep the front, back, and sides of appliance at a minimum safety distance from walls and other objects.

- Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use.

- It is not recommended to use the product with an extension lead.

- Always turn off and unplug the device when not in use and before assembling, disassembling, or moving it. Pull from the plug, not the cable, to disconnect it from the outlet.

  • Cleaning and maintenance tasks should be carried out according to this manual to ensure the correct operation of the device.
  • Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children.

2. BEFORE USE

  • This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the machine when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
  • Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
  • Do not remove the serial number of the appliance in order to keep a correct traceability of it in case of assistance.

3. OPERATION

Switching on/off

To switch on the air cooler, press any speed button (1, 2 or 3). The appliance will operate at the selected speed.

To switch it off, press the "0" button.

Speed

To adjust the speed, press one of the speed buttons.

1 = low speed
2 = medium speed
3 = high speed

Oscillation

Press the ○ button to activate the oscillation function. The air cooler will start to oscillate. Press the button again to stop oscillation.

Cool function

When the air cooler is in operation, press the "button to activate the cool function. Press the button again to deactivate this function.

Note: When the water tank level is low, the cool function will not work. Add more water to the tank if you want to activate this function.

Adding water to the water tank

There are two ways to fill the water tank:

  1. The first one is by opening the appliance's top cover and pouring water in (Figure 3).
  2. The second one is by opening the water tank cover directly (Figure 4).

  3. Use clean water to fill the appliance.

  4. When refilling the water tank, please observe the water level marks.
  5. Make sure that the water level is below the "Max" mark.
  6. For the air cooler to cool, the water level must be above the "Min" mark.
  7. If you want it to provide greater cooling performance, you can place ice packs or ice cubes in the water tank.

WARNING:

ENGLISH

- The water level in the tank must be below the "Max" mark, even if ice packs or ice cubes have been added.

- Do not add water while the appliance is running.

- Do not open the cooling system when the water tank is empty.

Automatic filling

This machine is equipped with automatic injection device (Figure 5), the appropriate pipe (13 mm diameter) is connected to the pipe inlet, and the internal float ball automatically closes or opens the water injection according to the water level.

Using ice packs

Ice packs not only cool but also absorb water heat. Therefore, if you use them, the air coming out from the air cooler will be colder.

  1. Place the ice packs in the freezer. When frozen, take them out.
  2. Remove the water tank and place the ice packs inside.
  3. The air cooler comes with five ice packs.

NOTE:

  • Place the ice packs carefully to avoid damaging the cooling system.
  • Do not consume the ice from the ice packs and do not let children play with them.

When using an ice pack for the first time:

a. Open it, fill it with water and close it again.
b. Leave it outside the freezer for about 30-40 minutes to allow the water you have just added to mix well with the product inside.
c. Then, place it in the freezer for a minimum of two hours.
d. After this time, take it out from the freezer and place it in the appliance's tank to reduce the water temperature.
e. If, after prolonged use, the product inside the ice pack has turned into a gel, remove it from the air cooler tank and place it back in the freezer. It can be used again once the product has refrozen.

Emptying the water tank

  1. Remove the plug shown in Figure 6, located at the back of the air cooler.
  2. Empty and clean the air cooler regularly.
  3. If the appliance will not be used for a long period of time, empty the water tank.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

After prolonged operation, dust may accumulate on the grille and filtration system, affecting the air cooler's performance. To prevent this from happening, clean the air cooler regularly.

First, unplug the air cooler from the mains. Then, using a screwdriver, remove the screws from the rear cover of the appliance to detach it.

Unscrew the plastic nuts on the grille and remove the filter. Clean it with a brush and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry. Once completely dry, put it back in place.

2. Cleaning the outer surface

First, unplug the air cooler from the mains. Then, clean the outer surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent.

Warning: The control panel must not get wet.
