FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
Do not use the product in an explosive environment containing flammable liquids, gases, or vapours.
Before starting the product for the first time, make sure that the product, its accessories, and the power cord have not been damaged. If any damage is discovered, it is not allowed to start working with the product. Any damaged components, including the power cord, must be replaced at an authorized facility. It is not allowed to repair the product on your own.
Always use personal protective equipment such as heat-resistant gloves, work clothes with long sleeves and legs, and work shoes with an anti-slip sole. Protective goggles should also be worn.
The product is intended for indoor use only. Do not expose the product to any precipitation or moisture. If water and moisture enters the product, the risk of an electric shock is significantly increased. Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
The room in which the product will be used should be well lit and ventilated. If the operator feels unwell due to steam build-up and an increase in temperature, operation should be
EN
stopped and the room ventilated before resuming work. Seeking medical attention is required if the symptoms in the operator do not disappear.
Do not use the steamer near light switches, electrical sockets or other electrical equipment. Condensation can cause a short-circuit which can result in electric shock and serious injury or death.
Do not use the steamer for ironing clothes.
Connect the product to the power network providing the voltages and frequencies indicated on the nameplate of the unit, exclusively. The plug of the power cord must match the power socket. Do not modify the plug. Do not use any power adapters to adapt the plug to the socket. An unmodified plug, which matches the socket, reduces the risk of an electric shock. Use only the power cord supplied with the device. If the cord is damaged, contact an authorised service centre of the manufacturer to obtain a new cord.
A product with first class electrical insulation must always be connected to an outlet equipped with a protective conductor. The mains power supply should be equipped with a residual current fuse with a tripping current of 30 mA or less.
After each use, remove the power cord plug from the power socket and disconnect the power cord from the product. Always disconnect the device from the power supply, if it is left unattended, and before putting it away, disassembling, cleaning or filling with water.
Do not leave the device unattended when it is connected to the power supply.
Do not overload the power cord. Do not use the power cord to carry the product, connect, or disconnect the plug from the power socket. Avoid any contact between the power cord and heat sources, oil, sharp edges, and moving parts. Damage to the power cord increases the risk of an electric shock. If the power cord is damaged (e.g. it is cut, its insulation is melted), immediately unplug it from the socket, disconnect the cord from the product and return the power cord to an authorised service centre. It is not allowed to use the product with a damaged power cord. It is not allowed to have the power cord repaired. It must be changed for a new one at an authorised service centre.
Disconnect the power cord from the power socket, before installing, removing, or adjusting any of the product accessories.
Make sure that the selected accessory has been installed correctly, before starting the product.
Do not overload the product. The temperature of the housing must not exceed 60^ C. Overloading the product will accelerate its wear and tear, lead to its damaging, and increase the risk of an electric shock.
Transport the water tank holding it only by the handle, the tank contains hot water, which can cause burns.
Hold only the handle of the steamer during operation, the steam escaping from the steamer is hot and may cause burns.
The product must be kept under supervision at all times during operation. Do not leave the product unattended if it is connected to the power supply.
The product is not to be used by children. Keep the product and its power cord out of the reach of children. It is important to ensure that children do not see the product as a toy.
Children should not be allowed to clean or maintain the product without the supervision of
EN
an adult.
Keep the device and its power cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age if it is connected to the power supply or when it is cooling down.
This product cannot be used by people with impaired physical and/or mental abilities, and by people without any experience in or understanding of the operation of the product, unless they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product, so that they understand the relevant operating risks.
The water tank cannot be opened during use.
Do not use the device if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
Never point the steam jet at yourself, other people or animals. Contact with hot steam can cause serious burns. Never fill the product with a substance other than clean water. In particular, do not use flammable substances such as alcohols, solvents. Do not add any other substances, e.g. detergents, to the water.
PRODUCT OPERATION
Product assembly (II)
Note! Make sure that the product is disconnected from the power supply before assembly. The power cord should be disconnected from the power socket and the device.
Screw one end of the hose to the hose connection on the tank and the other end to the steamer hose connection. Both connections are of the same size and it does not matter which end of the hose is fixed to the tank and which to the steamer. The hose should be fixed without using any tools. If the steam is noticed escaping from the connector during operation, tighten the connector.
Water fi lling and emptying (III)
Note! Make sure that the product is disconnected from the power supply before filling it with water or emptying. The power cord should be disconnected from the power socket and the device. The product and the water stored in it must also be cooled.
Place the tank on a level, hard and fl at surface.
Unscrew the tank filler cap. Fill the tank with clean water. The front wall of the tank has indicators showing the minimum and maximum water level in the tank. The minimum water level must not be lower than the MIN indicator and the maximum water level must not be higher than the MAX indicator.
It is recommended to use the funnel to fill the tank, as this will minimise the risk of splashing water while filling the tank. Splashed water should be thoroughly cleaned before connecting the device to the mains power supply.
After filling, fit the tank inlet cap.
Caution! Never fill the tank by partially or completely submerging it in water.
After finishing operation, disconnect the product from the power supply by unplugging the power cord from the socket and then the power cord from the device.
Wait until the product and the water remaining in the tank have cooled down completely. Unscrew the tank inlet cap, turn the tank so that the inlet is facing downwards and empty the tank completely. Fit the tank cap.
If the tank cap is removed too early, hot steam or water can be released, which can cause serious burns.
Water quality
The tank can only be filled with clean water. If the running water is hard, in case of lack of knowledge contact your local water supplier, use tap water and demineralised water mixture or only demineralised water. Heating hard water causes scale build-up, which can lead to a decrease in capacity or even a complete clogging of the device.
Connecting the product to the power supply
Place the assembled device with the filled tank on a flat, hard and level surface. Check if the steamer will be able to reach the entire intended work area.
Wait for the water level in the tank to stabilise. Plug the power cord into the device socket (IV), and then plug the power cord into the power socket. The device will begin heating up the water.
Steamer operation
Wait until steam starts to escape from the steamer. A small amount of water may escape before steam starts to escape from the
EN
steamer outlet. This is normal. Be careful as the water may be hot. The water heating time depends on the amount of water in the tank and the temperature of the water and the room, the more water in the tank and the lower the water temperature and the room temperature, the longer the heating time.
Do not bend or over-tension the hose and power cord. Avoid contact of the hose and power cord with sharp and/or hot objects, oils, acids and water. If the hose or power cord is damaged, stop operation immediately and replace it with a new one, free of defects, before resuming work.
During heating and operation, do not set the steamer down in such a manner that the steam outlet is covered. Steam escaping from the steamer should not be directed towards people, electrical equipment or heat-sensitive materials.
Place the steamer on the wallpaper for approximately 10 seconds, then move it to another part of the wallpaper. Remove the steam-soaked part of the wallpaper with a spatula immediately after it has been exposed. This manner of operation will ensure the highest productivity.
Some wallpapers, e.g. vinyl, paint or several layers of wallpaper may require longer soaking. The soaking time must be adjusted experimentally during operation.
Pay attention to the water level in the tank at all times. The water level must not fall below the MIN indicator. This may damage the product and may also cause fire or result in electric shock.
If there is a need to replenish the water in the tank during operation, unplug the power cord from the outlet and wait at least 5 minutes for the water in the tank to cool down. The tank wall should be cooled down. Disconnect the power cord from the device.
Carefully and slowly unscrew the water tank cap. If steam or water starts to escape from under the cap, place the cap back on immediately and wait at least 10 minutes. The cap can only be removed if there is no steam and/or water escaping from it.
Replenish the water according to the procedure described in the manual. Close the tank, place the tank in the area of work, wait for the water surface in the tank to stabilise and connect the device to the power supply.
During operation, do not tilt the tank, as it may cause the heater to come up from under the water surface, which may result in its overheating and may cause damage to the product, fire or electric shock.
After operation, unplug the power cord from the outlet and wait for the water in the tank to cool down. Empty the water tank, disconnect the hose from the tank and steamer, lift the hose vertically to get rid of water from the inside. Leave the tank open until it is completely dried of residual water, then close it.
MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
The product does not require any special maintenance. Clean the outside of the tank, hose and steamer with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry or allow to dry. Never immerse the device housing in water or other liquids. Do not use alcohol, solvents, corrosive or abrasive agents for cleaning. Store the product disassembled, in dry, shaded and well-ventilated places. Ensure that the storage room protects the device from unauthorised access, especially by children. It is recommended to store the product in the packaging it was delivered in.
