3. OPERATION
- Select the attachment that best fits your needs.
- Fix the desired attachment to the top part of the device body.
- To remove the shaving head or any other attachment assembled, hold the shaver body with one hand and slightly turn it counterclockwise with the other hand.
- To assemble a different one, insert the attachment into the shaver's slot, then turn it slightly clockwise to fix it in place.
-
To assemble the beard guide comb attachment, insert the shaving head inside the guide comb and lock the attachment fixing tab in place.
-
The guide comb attachment includes a length-adjustment knob. Length can be adjusted from 0.5 mm to 10 mm and adapted to the desired haircut.
- To remove the guide-comb attachment, pull the back part off the device until the fixing tab is released, then slide the comb off the blade.
- Slide the switch upwards to turn the device on and slide it downwards to turn it off.
Note
The length of the cut may vary depending on the trimming angle. Start with a longer guide-comb setting and progressively shorten
ENGLISH
the cutting length as the hair is cut.
Tips
- Ears and nose: when using the shaver to cut ear and nose hair, do not insert it more than 6 mm into the nostril or ear cavity. Turn it on and carefully move it in and out of the nostril or ear cavity.
- Nape/neck: use a hand mirror while cutting your own hair. Lift hair off the neck and place the index finger to cover and protect hairs that are not going to be cut. Carefully place the blades on the neck's surface and slowly move the groomer in an upward direction until it is stopped by the index finger.
- Shaving: switch the shaver on. Move it performing straight movements close to the surface of the zone you are going to shave. Use the shaving head without the guide comb when hair is shorter than 1 mm. Do not move the device in a circular motion.
Wet shaving
The device can also be used as a facial epilator on damp or slightly wet skin.
-
Apply some water to your skin.
-
Apply shaving foam or shaving gel to your skin.
-
Rinse the shaving unit under the tap to ensure that the shaving
ENGLISH
unit glides smoothly over your skin.
- Move the shaving head in a straight motion over your skin.
- Dry your face and thoroughly clean the shaving head after use.
Trimming with the guide-comb attachment
- The precision guide comb allows to cut the hair to different lengths.
- When trimming for the first time, start at the highest length setting to get familiar with the device and then adjust it to the desired length.
- Always slide the device in the direction of the guide-comb teeth, making sure that the smooth part of the comb is in full contact with the skin. This will ensure perfect results.
Body grooming
The device can be also used as a body groomer to trim hair from the back, shoulders, chest, abdomen, underarms, arms and legs. It has a unique-design surface that protects your skin from being scratched and scraped.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Turn off and disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning, servicing it, or assembling or disassembling any of its parts.
- Do not use compressed air, abrasive cleaners, or scouring
ENGLISH
pads to clean the appliance.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- To clean the attachments, remove them first, then brush them with the cleaning brush provided.
- Attachments are waterproof; therefore, they can be washed with water if necessary. Dry them thoroughly before storing or using them again.
- Clean the shaver and the attachments with the cleaning brush after each use. Remove the attachment and rinse it under warm running water. Do not use hot water.
- Warning: Do not rinse the laminated shaving head, as it is permanently lubricated.
Oiling blades
- Rinsing attachments under water requires lubricating the cutting blades once per month. Using only light-grade oils (e.g. sewing machine oil), simply spread 1-2 drops over the blades with the fingertip carefully. Wipe away all excess oil.
- Use only light-grade oils, as these will not evaporate.
- Do not use hair oil, grease, or any oil mixed with kerosene nor solvent, as these will evaporate and slow down the speed of the blades.
