- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the device rating label and that the plug is earthed.
- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any type of danger.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or any other part is damaged. In this case, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.

Battery instructions
- This device contains an irreplaceable battery.
- This device includes a Li-ion battery. Do not incinerate or expose it to high temperatures, as it may explode.
- Leaks from the battery or cells can occur under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the battery. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately
with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.
- Avoid contact between the battery and small metallic objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, or screws.
- Before a new battery is used or the battery is used for the first time after long-term storage, fully charge the battery.
- When the device is stored and not used for long periods of time, ensure that the battery pack is fully charged.
- Keep batteries out of the reach of children when there is a risk of ingestion.
- Battery ingestion can cause burns, soft tissue perforation, and death. It can cause severe burns within two hours of the ingestion.
- In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical help immediately.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

Before first use
- Completely charge the device for 90 minutes approximately.
- Oil the device blades before first use.
3. OPERATION
Turn on the hair clipper with the on/off switch.
Recharge
- Turn off the hair clipper before plugging it to the charger and the power socket.
- During charge, the plug icon will light up red and will show the current charge percentage.
- When it is completely charged, it will show 100 in white.
- The plug icon will flash in red when the battery is low.
- For a short charge, charge it for 5 minutes and use it between 3 and 5 minutes.
Lock
The hair clipper is equipped with a safety locking system.
- Hold down the power button for 3 seconds to lock the device. The lock icon will light in white.
- Hold down the power button for 3 seconds to unlock the device. The lock icon will disappear on the display.
- When connecting the charger, the hair clipper will unlock.
How to adjust the cutting length
Blades setting knob:
- The cutting length can be adjusted through the blade knob during operation or before the appliance is switched on.
- Slide the knob to the right to give shorter cuts and slide it to the left to give longer cuts (0.5 mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm).
Clip-on guide comb:
Depending on the type of haircut, the hair clipper can be operated with or without the guide comb attachment.
- Place the attachment comb onto the cutting edge of the cutting set and press it down onto the cutting set until it clicks into position.
- To remove the guide comb, pull the tabs on both sides of the accessory upwards and slide the comb until it is removed from the device.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Turn off and disconnect the device from the mains supply before cleaning, servicing it, or assembling or disassembling any of its parts.
- Do not use compressed air, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads to clean the device.
- The hair clipper is water-resistant, so you can wash it with water, but do not immerse the body completely into any type of liquid. Be careful the clipper does not fall into water. Do not use hot water.
- Clean the clipper and the attachments after each use.
- To clean the hair clipper blades, select the longer setting and insert the cleaning brush bristles to remove the cut hair.
- When any of the parts of the device are cleaned, dry them thoroughly before storing or using them again.
- Do not wind the cord around the device to store it.
- Lubricate the blades with oil to ensure proper operation.
