and offices.

• This device has irreplaceable batteries.
• The appliance cannot be used by children aged 8 years and above and by people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, as well as with lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards

involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by unsupervised children.

• The appliance must be powered at a low safety voltage as stated on the marking.
• Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced with a special cable or set to be supplied by the

official Cecotec Technical Support Service or the corresponding after-sales service to avoid any danger.

- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the device rating label and that the plug is earthed.

- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make

sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.

- Keep all packaging materials away from children. Risk of suffocation.

- This device must be checked frequently for signs of wear or damage. If such signs are present, or if the appliance has been used improperly, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service. Do not try to repair the appliance by yourself.

• Switch off the appliance immediately in the event of defects or malfunctions.
• Do not use accessories or parts that have not been provided by Cecotec
• Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
• Keep the appliance away from heat sources.

• Do not use outdoors or operate it near flammable substances such as sprays.

• Do not place the appliance directly on any non-heatproof surfaces while plugged in or in operation.

• Do not try to open, disassemble, or repair the appliance by yourself. There are no serviceable parts inside the appliance.
• The appliance is exclusively designed for trimming natural hair. Do not use it to cut artificial or animal hair.
• Cecotec accepts no liability for damage

caused by improper or incorrect use.

- Do not operate the appliance near water, or in places where it could get wet.

- Do not use the appliance if your skin or head skin is injured or suffers from any type of illness.

- Switch off and make sure that the device is disconnected from the mains before assembling or disassembling any of its parts or accessories.

Battery instructions

• This appliance contains an irreplaceable battery.
• This appliance includes a Li-ion battery. Do not incinerate or expose it to high temperatures, as it may explode.
• The battery may leak under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the battery. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately

with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.

• Keep batteries out of the reach of children when there is a risk of ingestion.
• Battery ingestion can cause burns,

perforation of soft tissue, and death.

Severe burns may occur within two hours of ingestion.

- In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical help immediately.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

- Do not remove the serial number of the appliance in order to keep a correct traceability of it in case of assistance.

3. OPERATION

Using the shaver for the first time

Note: before using the shaver for the first time, fully charge it for approximately 1.5 hours with the appliance switched off.

1. Insert the cable into the charging port that is at the bottom of the shaver.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible power adapter.
3. During charging: the display will show a red indicator light

and the percentage of charge from 00 to 100 (in increments of 05).

1. During use: the display will show the battery level from 100 to 00 (in intervals of 05).
2. Low battery: the red indicator light will flash indicating that you need to charge the shaver.
3. Cleaning: after 30 minutes of use, the tap indicator light will flash indicating that it needs to be cleaned.

Shaving

We recommend shaving with a completely dry face.

Follow the steps below:

1. Removing the cover: remove the protection cover.
2. Switching on the shaver: press the power button.
3. Stretching the skin: use your free hand to stretch the skin in the area to be shaved.
4. Shaving: move the attachment perpendicular to the direction of hair growth, applying light pressure.
5. Check: after a few passes, check the result with the free hand and repeat step 4 if necessary.
6. Continue shaving: repeat steps 3 and 4 as necessary.
7. Outlining: use the sideburn trimmer to trim the edges if needed.
8. Switching off the shaver: switch off the shaver when finished.
9. Cleaning and storage: clean the shaver and store it in its

original packaging to avoid damage.

Using the sideburn trimmer

Note: the sideburn trimmer always makes a straight cut. For a different cut, hold the shaver at the desired angle.

1. Removing the cover: remove the protection cover.
2. Positioning the sideburn trimmer: move the sideburn trimmer upwards to the outlining position. You will hear it click into place if correctly installed.
3. Switching on the shaver: press the power button and make sure the sideburn trimmer is in operation. If it does not work,

you have not moved it all the way up.

1. Outlining: guide the trimmer slowly to the hair to be cut.
2. Switching off: switch off the shaver after shaving.
3. Cleaning and positioning: clean the sideburn trimmer and slide it down by pressing on the top.

Safety lock

The shaver is equipped with a safety lock to prevent accidental switching on during transport.

1. Activating the lock: press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to lock the appliance. The shaver will automatically

be deactivated, and the lock indicator light will flash blue 3 times, indicating that the lock has been successfully activated.

2. Deactivating the lock

• Charging: the lock will automatically be deactivated when you charge the shaver.
• Manual: press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to lock the appliance. The lock indicator light will flash blue 3 times and the shaver will automatically switch on.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning and maintenance

General instructions

1. Turn off and disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning, servicing it, or assembling or disassembling any of its parts.
2. Clean the appliance after every use.
3. Use a damp cloth to clean the outer surface.
4. Forbidden: do not use compressed air, sponges, powders or abrasive cleaning agents.

ENGLISH

1. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
2. Do not strike the appliance or blade against a surface to remove hair or water, as this may damage both the appliance and the blade. Replace damaged blades.
3. Grease the blades every few haircuts to keep the shaver in optimal condition.
4. Always attach the blade protection before storing the appliance.
5. Store the appliance in its original packaging to prevent damage.

Daily cleaning after shaving

1. Switch off the appliance completely by pressing the power button.
2. Hold the shaver over the sink.
3. Press both release buttons to release the shaving attachment and remove it by pulling it upwards.
4. Gently tap the head on the sink to remove the hair.
5. Switch on the shaver without the shaving attachment for 5-10 seconds to remove hair from the blades.

WARNING: do not touch the blades, you could cut yourself.
6. Use the cleaning brush to completely remove hair from the blades and the top of the shaver.
7. Replace the attachment, you will hear a click when it clicks into place.
8. Place the protective cover on the shaver.

Blades maintenance

To maintain performance and increase the life of the blades, follow these steps at least once every two months:

1. Apply a drop of lubricating oil on the blades.
2. Distribute the oil evenly.
3. Without exerting pressure, rub the blades with a soft, lint-free cloth or some kitchen paper.

Storage

1. Switch off the shaver and clean all parts. Make sure they are completely dry before refitting it.
2. Store the shaver in a clean, dry place.

6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
