The milk frother is used to heat and froth milk. Cold and warm milk can be frothed. The detachable base ensures comfortable and safe use of the appliance. The appliance is intended for household use only. The correct, reliable, and safe operation of the device depends on its proper use, therefore:

Read the entire instructions manual before the first use of the appliance, and keep it for future reference.

The supplier shall not be liable for any damage resulting from failure to comply with the safety instructions and recommendations specified in this instructions manual.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Caution! The appliance may heat up to a high temperature during operation. Be careful when handling it. The appliance should be held by its handle only.

Recommendations concerning transport and installation of the appliance

The appliance may only be placed on a hard, flat, level, non-flammable and resistant to high temperatures surface. The surface should be able to withstand the weight of the appliance itself and milk in it.

Ensure that there is a minimum space of 10 cm around the appliance side walls and do not place materials which are sensitive to heat above the device. This will allow for the proper ventilation of the device. Do not place near edges of, e.g., a table. Do not place anything on the appliance. This disrupts the air circulation and can cause damage to the appliance as well as fire.

Do not place the device near flammable materials, e.g., curtains or drapes.

Do not place any electrical equipment above the device. During operation, water vapour is released, which can cause a short circuit in the electrical system and lead to electric shock.

It is forbidden to drill any holes in the device, as well as making any other modifications of the device not described in the manual.

When carrying the appliance and lifting it from the base with hot milk hold it by the handle.

Do not carry the hot appliance with the base. Do not move the appliance by pulling on the power cord.

The temperature at the place of installation and use of the appliance must be within the range of +10°C ÷ +38°C, and the relative humidity must be below 90% without condensation.

Recommendations for connecting the appliance to the power supply

Before connecting the product to the mains, make sure that the voltage, frequency and power output correspond to the values shown on the nameplate. The plug must fit into the socket. It is forbidden to modify the plug or socket in any manner to make them fit.

The appliance must be connected directly to a single power supply socket. It is forbidden to use extension cords, adapters or double sockets. The power supply circuit must be fitted with a protective conductor and at least a 16 A protective device.

Avoid contact of the power cord with sharp edges, hot objects or surfaces. During operation, the power cord must always be fully extended and the position of the power cord must be set so that it does not become an obstacle during operation. The power cord should not be

placed in a manner which would pose a risk of tripping. The power supply socket should be located in a place where it is always possible to quickly remove the appliance power cord plug. Always pull the power cord by the plug housing when unplugging it, never by the cord. If the power cord or the plug is damaged, immediately disconnect it from the power supply and contact an authorised service centre of the manufacturer for replacement. Do not use the appliance with a damaged power cord or plug. The power cord or plug cannot be repaired and must be replaced with a new one that is free of defects if these components are damaged.

Instructions for use

Caution! The product is intended for heating and frothing milk. Never use other liquids or substances than milk for heating and boiling.

Use the appliance only with the supplied base. When using the appliance, the power cord must be fully extended. A coiled cable may overheat and cause a risk of fire and electric shock.

Make sure that the floor near the place of use of the tool is not slippery. This will prevent slipping, which can cause serious injuries.

The appliance may be connected to the mains only when in use. When finished, pull out the power plug to disconnect the appliance from the mains. Do not leave the product connected to mains unattended.

Fill the product with milk by pouring it into the frother. Never immerse the frother in milk or other liquids. If milk is spilt on the outside surface of the frother or on the base while being filled, dry it thoroughly before connecting the mains.

Do not start the product without milk. The minimum level of milk is approx. 1 cm from the bottom of the frother. The milk must completely cover the heater. Inside the frother, there are two indicators of the maximum level. Lower for milk being frothed and higher for heated milk only. Do not exceed the maximum level depending on the use of the frother. Too little milk may damage the appliance or cause it to not start up.

Too high level may cause the milk to escape from the frother during heating or frothing. This may cause severe injury.

Warning! Do not remove the cover while the appliance is on.

Always close the lid when using the frother. After use, hot condensing steam may be accumulated under the lid. It may cause burns.

Caution! Place the lid so as to avoid steam escaping near the handle.

It is forbidden to repair, disassemble, or modify the appliance by yourself. All repairs to the product must be carried out by an authorised service centre.

Do not use aggressive substances, solvents, caustics, alcohol, petrol or abrasives for cleaning.

OPERATING THE APPLIANCE

The product must be unpacked and all parts of the packaging removed. Unwrap the cord. Place the base according to the recommendations.

Wash the frother before the first use in accordance with the instructions in the product maintenance section.

Milk frothing

The milk can be frothed at the temperature at which it was poured into the frother or additionally heated during frothing.

Remove the frother lid and pour the milk. The level of milk must not exceed the lower mark on the inner wall. Install the cover and place the frother on the base. Plug the power cord plug into the socket and use the buttons to select the appropriate frothing method.

When pressing the upper button (with the heat wave symbol) on the control panel twice, the milk will be heated and frothed. The duration of this mode depends on the temperature of the milk poured into the frother. The lower the temperature of the milk, the longer the heating time.

By pressing the lower button (with the snowflake symbol) on the control panel once, the milk will only be frothed without heating.

After any mode is completed, the frother will stop automatically.

Lift the frother from the base holding it only by the handle.

Remove the lid and pour the milk out from the frother.

Remove the power supply cord plug from the socket.

Leave the product to cool after use.

Caution! Pressing the button used to start the appliance manually stops it at any time.

Milk heating

The frother is able to heat the milk without frothing. The frother is unable to boil the milk.

Remove the frother lid and pour the milk. The level of milk must not exceed the higher mark placed on the inner wall. Install the cover and place the frother on the base. Plug the power cord plug into the socket and press the upper button (with the heat wave symbol) on the control panel once. The milk will be warmed up without frothing.

When the operation is finished, the frother will stop automatically.

Lift the frother from the base holding it only by the handle.

Remove the lid and pour the milk out from the frother.

Remove the power supply cord plug from the socket.

Leave the product to cool after use.

Caution! Pressing the button used to start the appliance manually stops it at any time.

MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

Frother maintenance

Since the appliance is designed to prepare milk for consumption, it should be kept clean and regular maintenance should be carried out.

CAUTION! All maintenance work must be carried out with the appliance switched off. To do this, unplug the power cord plug from the socket.

CAUTION! Never immerse the appliance or its base in water or in any other liquid. The appliance or its base cannot be cleaned under running water, high-pressure water jet or in a dishwasher.

CAUTION! Allow all parts of the product to cool down completely before carrying out maintenance activities. Do not accelerate the cooling process by fi lling the frother with cold water.

Use a mild dishwashing agent for cleaning. Remove any residues of the cleaning solution with a cloth moistened with water (base and outside of the frother) or fill it with water several times (inside of the frother). Wipe the product dry or leave to dry after cleaning it.

The mixer and lid can be washed under warm running water using dishwashing liquid, when removed from the appliance.

The frother should be cleaned after each use and it is recommended to do it immediately after cooling down or after use if the heater has not been used. Milk residues are easier to remove before they dry.

Store the appliance in its working position. Do not stack appliances in layers. Do not place anything on the appliance during storage.
