They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intended use
This product is designed for making waffles. Do not use the product for any other purpose.
This product is only intended for private household use, not for commercial purposes.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by improper use.
Scope of delivery
After unpacking the product, check if the delivery is complete and if all parts are in good condition. Remove all packaging materials before use.

Intended use
WARNING! Misuse may lead to injury. Use this product solely in accordance with these instructions. Do not attempt to modify the product in any way.
Electrical safety
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock! Never attempt to repair the product yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.
During use the product gets hot. Do not touch the product while in use nor immediately after use.
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the product is operating.
WARNING! Risk of electric shock! Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
WARNING! Risk of electric shock! Never use a damaged product. Disconnect the product from the power supply and contact your retailer if it is damaged.
The product is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage.
The product is powered only after the on/off switch is moved to the I position.
Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product's rating label.
Regularly check the power plug and the power cord for damages. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Protect the power cord against damages. Do not let it hang over sharp edges, do not squeeze or bend it. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces and open flames.
Operation
The product must not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains.
Do not move the product while it is in operation.
Do not place the product on hot plates (gas, electric, coal cooking range etc.). Operate the product on a level, stable, clean, heat-resistant and dry surface.
Do not cover the product while it is in use or shortly after use, when it is still hot.
Make sure that the power cord is not pinched by the plates or touches the rim of the plates.
The use of extension cords is not recommended. If the use of an extension cord is necessary, it must be designed for a current flow of at least 10 A.
Lay cords in such a way that they may not be tripped over or otherwise damaged.
The product is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote control system.
Cleaning and storage
WARNING! Risk of
injury! Disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning work and when not in use.
Do not store the hot product in a cupboard or in the packaging.
- Do not pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet by the power cord.
Protect the product, its power cord and power plug against dust, direct sunlight, dripping and splashing water.
Store the product in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and out of the reach of children.
- Protect the product against heat. Do not place the product close to open flames or heat sources such as stoves or heating appliances.
Refer to the chapter "Cleaning" for instructions on how to clean the product.
- First set-up of the product
- Unpacking the product and basic cleaning
- Take the product out of the packaging and remove all packaging materials and plastic wrappings.
- Check to make sure that all listed parts are included (see "Scope of delivery").
- Check whether the product and all parts are in good condition, if any damage or defect is detected, do not use the product, but follow the procedure described in chapter "Warranty".
- During production, parts are covered with a protective oil film. Before first use, operate the product without any food so that any potential residues evaporate.
- Before first use, clean all parts of the product as described in the chapter "Cleaning".
Operation

Possible production residues lead to the formation of odours during initial start-up. This is normal and does not indicate a malfunction of the product.
Operate the product empty for approx. 5-10 minutes to remove any production residues. Ensure sufficient ventilation.
Discard the first set of waffles.
- Switching the product on/off
① INFO:
During operation, the green indicator 7 goes on and off from time to time. This indicates that the product is reheating up to the baking temperature.
The off mode is selected by switching the product off and the on/off switch keeps at "O" position. Both red and green indicators are off.
- Switching the product on: Connect the mains plug 4 to a suitable mains outlet. Move the on/off switch 5 to the I position. The red indicator 8 lights up.
- Switching the product off: Move the on/off switch 5 to the position. The red indicator 8 goes off. Disconnect the mains plug 4 from the mains outlet.

Preparing waffles
① INFO:
Grease both heating plates 1 with a suitable cooking oil.
- Keep the product locked while preheating.
Do not overfill the product.
- Preheat until the green indicator 7 lights up.
- Push the lock 2. Open the product.
- Use a wooden or heat-resistant plastic ladle to pour batter onto the heating plates [1]. Do not use metal ladles, as this could damage the non-stick surface of the plates.

Close the product. Close the lock 2. The waffle are being baked now.

Baking takes approx. 10 minutes. Lengthen or shorten the baking time to achieve the desired result. The waffle is ideal when it is golden brown.
- When baking is complete: Move the on/off switch 5 to the position. Disconnect the mains plug 4 from the mains outlet.
- Recipes
1 INFO: The following recipes are designed for a baking time of 10 minutes.
Do not open the product after less than 4 minutes, otherwise the waffles may tear.
- Removing waffles: Use a plastic/wooden spatula (or other suitable non-metallic tools) to avoid damaging the product's non-stick coating.
Belgian waffles
Ingredients:
5 Eggs
250 g Butter
200 g Sugar
400 ml Milk
500 g All-purpose flour
2 packets Vanilla sugar
5 g Baking powder
Preparation:
- Preheat the product.
- In a medium bowl, combine egg, vanilla sugar, sugar and butter.
- Add baking powder, around half of the flour and half of milk into the bowl and stir.
- Add the rest of flour and milk, then stir until the batter becomes creamy.
- Spray both plates with cooking spray.
- Evenly spoon the batter onto the lower plate.
- Close the product and bake for 8 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
Blueberry waffles
Ingredients:
100 ml Vegetable oil
250 ml Milk
2 Eggs
100g Sugar
280g All-purposeflour
8g Baking powder
80 g Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
Preparation:
- Preheat the product.

In a large bowl, whisk together the oil, milk, eggs, and sugar. Add the flour, baking powder and stir until well combined.

Fold in the blueberries.
- Spray both plates with cooking spray.
- Evenly spoon the batter onto the lower plate.
- Close the product and bake for about 10 minutes, until golden brown.
- Take out the waffle and cool it for 5 minutes to get crispy waffle.
- Serve immediately.
Ham and cheese waffles
Ingredients:
570 g Package refrigerated hash brown potatoes
225 g Black forest ham, diced
200 g Shredded cheddar cheese
3 Large eggs, beaten
2 cloves Garlic (minced)
2 tsp Chopped fresh parsley leaves
12 tsp Dried thyme
1/4 tsp Smoked paprika
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation:
- Thaw the hash brown potatoes.
- Preheat the product.

Spray both plates with cooking spray.
-
In a large bowl, combine hash brown potatoes, ham, cheese, eggs, garlic, parsley, thyme and paprika. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Evenly spoon the potato mixture onto the lower plate.
- Close the product and bake for about 7 minutes, until golden brown and crisp.
- Serve immediately.
Brownie Belgium waffles
Ingredients:
180 g All-purpose flour
65 g Unsweetened cocoa powder
20 g Granulated sugar
1 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Sea salt
10 tbsp Melted unsalted butter
2 Large eggs
2 tsp Vanilla extract
60 ml Water
120 g Mini chocolate chips
Optional toppings: Vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, powdered sugar
Preparation:
- Preheat the product. In a large bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Melt the butter and set aside to cool a little.
- In a small bowl, beat the eggs, vanilla extract, and water. Whisk the egg mixture into the dry mixture, then quickly mix in the melted butter. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Spray both plates with cooking spray.
- Evenly spoon the batter onto the lower plate.
- Close the product and bake for about 3 minutes.
- Lift the lid to check the waffle. The waffle should be fully formed, but soft to the touch.
- Serve with powdered sugar, vanilla ice cream or chocolate sauce.
- Lemon waffles
Ingredients:
150g All-purposeflour
50g Sugar
2g Baking powder
2g Salt
4 Large eggs (separated)
120 ml Milk
30 ml Melted butter
1 Fresh lemon
Preparation:
- Squeeze lemon juice from the lemon
- Combine egg yolks, sugar, and salt.
- Blend in milk, lemon juice and butter. Beat well.
- Add flour and baking powder.
- Preheat the product until the green indicator lights up.
- Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into mixture.
- Add the batter on waffles plates. Bake waffles until done.
Peanuts waffles
Ingredients:
210g All-purposeflour
70g Sugar
8g Bakingpowder
2g Salt
3 Eggs
160 ml Milk
100 g Butter (melted)
Optimum peanut butter
Optimum sweet milk
Preparation:
- Beat egg well with sugar.
- Stir in flour, milk, butter, salt, baking powder and mix well.
- Preheat the product.
- Preheat the product until the green indicator lights up.

Fold into mixture. Bake waffles until done.

Take out the waffles and rest for 3 min.
- Apply peanut butter and sweet milk on the waffles. Fold it and enjoy.
- Carrots and potato waffles
Ingredients:
2 Medium (approx. 220 g) Carrots, peeled and grated
1 Medium/small (approx. 265 g) Sweet Potato, peeled and grated
125 g Cheese, grated (shredded)
70 g Plain Flour (All Purpose Flour)
1 Spring onion (scallion/green onion) finely chopped
1 tbsp Chopped fresh parsley
3 Eggs, lightly beaten
Preparation:
- Add the grated carrot, sweet potato, cheese, spring onion, parsley and flour into a large mixing bowl and stir until combined.
- Add the eggs and mix well.
- Preheat the product until the green indicator lights up.
- Add the batter on waffles plates. Bake waffles until done.
Cheddar Cheese waffles
Ingredients:
180 g All-purpose flour
55 g Rice flour, you can also use fine cornmeal
1 tbsp Baking powder
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 / 2 tsp Smoked paprika
1/2 tsp Fine sea salt
3 Large eggs, separated
370 g Buttermilk
6 tbsp Unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
85 g Shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
2 tbsp Grated parmesan cheese
Preparation:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and spices until evenly incorporated.
- In a small bowl, whisk together egg yolks and buttermilk. Add to dry ingredients and stir with a rubber spatula just until no streaks of dry ingredients remain (the mixture may still be a little lumpy, that's ok). Mix in melted butter.
- Beat egg whites with an electric mixer or in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment. Beat on medium-high speed until the whites hold medium-soft peaks.
- Preheat the product until the green indicator lights up.
- Fold in _3 of egg whites into batter to lighten; add remaining egg whites and fold until almost incorporated. Fold in the shredded cheese.
- Add the batter on waffles plates. Bake waffles until done.
Matcha waffles
Ingredients:
2 tsp Matcha powder
200 g All-purpose flour
1 tsp Baking powder
50 g (1/4 cup) granulated sugar
160 ml Whole milk
1 tsp Pure vanilla extract
2 Eggs
100g Vegetable oil
Preparation:
- Beat egg with sugar.
- In a bowl or a blender, whisk all of the ingredients together.
- Preheat the product until the green indicator lights up.
- Add the batter on waffles plates. Bake waffles until done.
Gingerbread Buttermilk waffles
Ingredients:
200 g cup All-purpose flour
12 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Ground ginger
3 / 4 tsp Ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp Salt
1 / 8 tsp Ground cloves
100 g cup Packed brown sugar
1 Large egg, separated
150 g Buttermilk
50 g cup Molassess
3 tbsp Butter, melted
1 / 8 tsp Cream of tartar
Preparation:
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, salt, ground cloves and mix well.
- In a small bowl, beat the brown sugar and egg yolk until fluffy; add the buttermilk, molasses and butter. Stir into dry ingredients just until combined.
- In another small bowl, beat the egg white and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
- Preheat the product until the green indicator lights up.
- Gently fold egg whites into batter. Quickly spoon onto a preheated waffle maker. Bake until golden brown.
- Cleaning
DANGER! Risk of electric shock!
Before cleaning: Always disconnect the mains plug 4 from the mains outlet.
DANGER! Risk of burns! Do not clean the product right after operation. Let the product cool down first.
WARNING!
Do not immerse the product's electrical components in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
Do not allow water or other liquids to enter the interior of the product.
Do not use abrasive, aggressive cleaning agents or hard brushes.

Storage
DANGER! Risk of burns! Do not store the product right after operation. Let the product cool first.
Clean the product before storage.
Wind the mains cord 4 around the mains cord retainer 3.
Store the product in the original packaging when it is not in use.
Store the product at a dry location out of the reach of children.

The product can also be stored in a vertical position (Fig. B).
Disposal
The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials, which may be disposed of through your local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7: plastics/20-22: paper and fibreboard/80-98: composite materials.

The product incl. accessories, manual and packaging materials are recyclable and are subject to extended producer responsibility. Dispose them separately, following the illustrated Info-tri (sorting information), for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of material or manufacturing defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Keep the original sales receipt in a safe location as this document is required as proof of purchase.
Any damage or defects already present at the time of purchase must be reported without delay after unpacking the product.
Should the product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it - at our choice - free of charge to you. The warranty period is not extended as a result of a claim being granted. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear and tear, thus considered consumables (e.g. batteries, rechargeable batteries, tubes, cartridges), nor damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches or glass parts.
Warranty claim procedure
To ensure quick processing of your claim, observe the following instructions:
Make sure to have the original sales receipt and the item number (IAN 465799_2404) available as proof of purchase.
You can find the item number on the rating plate, an engraving on the product, on the front page of the instruction manual (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.
If functional or other defects occur, contact the service department listed below either by telephone or by e-mail.
Once the product has been recorded as defective you can return it free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you. Ensure to enclose the proof of purchase (sales receipt) and a short, written description outlining the details of the defect and when it occurred.
