MATTERS NEED ATTENTION

PRECAUTION BEFORE USING THE PUMP

- Connect the earth wire before use.

This enables you to prevent an accident caused by electric shock when electric insulation is not in order.

For your safety from the danger of electric shock, please be careful not power plug stained with water.

CAUTION IN CONNECTING THE EARTH WIRE

• Connect the earth wire after turning off the electric power.
• Never connect with gas pipes. Other wires can be the cause of explos
• Avoid operating under the condition of dry running and delivering no wa

For it will shorten the service life of pump and also cause the trouble motor.

• Never wrap the motor or the pump head in a blanket or a cloth to p freezing in the cold weather.
• Avoid using the pump under the condition of ambient temperature over and below 0^ , and also with hot water over 50^ .

For it will shorten the service life of pump.

- Be careful not to use the pump with other liquids except for water.

When used for solvents such as benzol acid, in flammable liquids

as gasoline and high-viscous liquid, there is a risk of fire, and it will trouble for the pump and also shorten its service life.

• Avoid using the pump under the condition exposed to direct rays or ra because it will be the reason for shortening the service life of the pump also for the danger of electric shock..
• Never operate the pump without priming water, for it will damage the mechanical-seal and the impeller and shorten the service life of the pump
• Before setting the power on, confirm no abnormality by manual operation (exam by driver) of the truly operating act 2-3 times in check of dust or put into the pump and adhesion of impeller or mechanical-seal.

WHEN THE PUMP IS REUSED AFTER A LONG TIME.

• There is a possibility for the motor not to be operated in spite of swit the electric power because of the sticking and solidification of the dirt an in the water of the pump head.
• In that case turn off the electric power, and then turn the shaft the bar motor a few times with driver or something like that, you can operate that as usual.

CHECKING POINTS BEFORE INSTALLATION

• Install the pump just over the well as possible as you can.
- But when the pump must be installed away from the well because circumstances, the maximum distance of the pipe from the well to the pump is limited according to the suction lift.

GUIDE FOR INSTALLATION

• Concrete the foundation with cement that pump may bot lean or sl even after many years.
• Select the place where the pump can be conveniently checked or repaired after installation.
• Suction pipe connection.

A. Measure the depth from the ground surface to that of the well. T suction head is standardized at 8 (max. 9 m)
B. For perfect tightness, use Teflon tape for all couplings.
C. Do not use Teflon tape for couplings already filed with flat or "O" just check seals change them if necessary.
D. For use with suction kits, simply use Teflon tape on coupling to screwed to pump body.
E. Otherwise, use a rigid hose (min diameter 25mm) to avoid damage during operation, check strainer coupling (use Teflon tape also here), clamping on hose.

F. Couplings at pump outlet must also be fitted with Teflon tape to operation and avoid water on the electric part of pump.
G. Various outlet devices can be adapted with connecting tees and e or hand valves.

Minimize the number of elbows to prevent the water from leaking into piping or to lessen the resistance of water.

Special instruction

H. Follow instructions for use in a swimming pool or any water pool garden, as well as in surrounding protected areas. Ask on electrical f advice.

I. When pump is not used for a long period, unplug it. Drain pump to avoid damages (risks of water freezing). Unscrew drainage cap bel pump. Protect water supply pipe (if it is hose) and accessories from insulate them or store them inside.

- Be sure to use pipe of standard diameter for normal.

CONNECTION METHODS FROM POWER

• When the pump is sent out from the manufacturer, it is set for.
• Check the voltage of the electric power before operating the pump.
• Warranty does not include accidents due to incorrect installation. See you electrical for advice. It is recommended to have a protected motor circuit breaker near the pump. It will cut power in case of surcharge, blocking or missed.
  • Take terminal box cover off.
• Drive the 3 wires electric cable through opening (minimum section 1.5 ~mm^2 )
• Connect 2 wires to terminals N and L. Connect earth wire (green/y to terminal located under terminal block, marked with symbol.
• Put cover back.

HOW TO STRAT PUMP

• Since this pump has no self-priming system, at the start of operation, make priming by the following sequence :
• Remove the plug and pour water into the pump and replace the p air in the suction pipe shall be pulled out with the water.
• Before the power switch on, the water cock of the discharge side be opened.
  • After the power switch is on, start priming procedure immediately.
• When the priming is not successful, air may be remained in the suction pipe. Then, to remove air in the suction pipe, pour water and power off repeatedly.
• Because the pump has no switch, use power switch on the wall of cover in and cut from the receptacle.

TROUBLES AND COUNTER-MEASURES

	Cord disconnected.	Replace the new cord.
	Trouble in motor	Repair or replace the motor.
	Tool low power sup voltage.	Consult with the power supplies company.
Water is not pumped although motor runs.	Water level of well lower than standard level	Check the water level of well.
	Trouble in foot-valve	Clean the foot-valve, the foot-valv seat and the foot-valve hole.
	Air draw into suction pope.	After checking the joints of piping shut them perfectly.
	Air draw into pump from mechanical sea	Replace the new mechanical seal
Thermal Protector for motor works too often.	Too low or high po supply voltage.	Consult with the power suppliers company.
	Impeller is in contact with another part.	Repair the defects.
	Short or open circuit of the capacitor.	Replace the capacitor.
Water does not come out for the first few minutes after switching on.	Air draw into suction pipe.	Repair the defects of piping (To prevent air leaking)..
Pump starts though no water is being used.	Water leaks at pipin or pump.	Repair piping, pump parts, faucet etc.
Water does not come out immediately after switch on..	Water leaks at mechanical seal	Repair the mechanical seal.
	Foot-valve does not shut perfectly.	Clean the foot-valve.
	Air draw into suction pipe.	Repair the defects.
