2. Safety precautions
This equipment may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by people with reduced physical and mental capabilities and lack of experience and familiarity with the equipment, if supervision or instruction is provided on how to use the equipment safely so that the associated risks are understood. Children should not play with the equipment. Unsupervised children should not carry out cleaning or maintenance of the equipment.
Warnings regarding hoover operation:
- Take precautions when maintaining the equipment.
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning or storing it. Only plug the hoover into the mains supply for the duration of its operation.
- Take care not to damage the hoover's power cord by running over, crushing, yanking, cutting, etc. during operation.
- All safety components must be kept in full working order. If they are damaged, they must be repaired or replaced immediately.
- Do not use the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged. If the power cord or plug is damaged, take the appliance to a service centre for replacement of the cord or plug with a new one.
- Do not pull on the cord when removing the plug from the socket.
- Do not leave the hoover unattended when ready for use.
- Do not make the appliance available to children as a toy.
- Store the appliance away from heat sources (i.e. central heating, cooker, etc.) to avoid deformation of the plastic parts.
- When using the unit, do not block the air inlet. Otherwise, the dust absorption capacity will decrease and there is a risk of burning the motor.
- Smouldering cigarette butts must not be sucked in, otherwise the appliance may be damaged.
- When using the hoover, pay attention to clumps of hair or other debris so that they do not clog the air inlet (including the suction hose). Failure to do so may result in damage to the appliance motor.
- When using the blowing function, do not direct the airflow towards a source of open flame.
- The appliance is not suitable for vacuuming hazardous dusts.
- A device with a maximum power output of 2,000 watts may be connected to the connection socket on the hoover cover. Connecting appliances with a higher wattage may cause the hoover to malfunction.
- Working with a hoover is accompanied by a build-up of electrostatic charge, which can result in electrostatic discharge on contact with the user. This is a natural phenomenon. Use appropriate personal protection equipment (anti-electrostatic gloves, anti-electrostatic footwear).

7. Preparing for use

All operations described in this chapter should be carried out with the battery disconnected.
Unlock the latches (fig. A, 6) and remove the top cover of the hoover (fig. A, 3). Remove all components from the duster tank, check that no parts are missing (see section 13. Package contents). Place the wheel ferrules into the holes in the base of the hoover.
Check that the water tank is correctly fastened. The spigot should be firmly placed in the hole in the hoover housing. Press the spigot locking button to remove the tank.
Place a filter (HEPA type for dry cleaning, sponge filter for wet cleaning) on the filter basket and close the top cover.
Insert the end of the hoover pipe into the spigot (Fig. A, 5). Insert the water inlet connector into the spigot (Fig. A, 14). Insert aluminium tubes into the end of the hoover pipe, connect the water inlet hose. Ensure that the quick couplings are tightly connected. When the spigot of the quick coupling is pressed in, a distinct click should be heard.
Place the appropriate nozzle (vacuum nozzle, wide nozzle for washing or narrow nozzle for upholstery washing) on the end of the aluminium tube. Both washing nozzles require the connection of a water supply hose.
Controlling the hoover
On the lid of the hoover there is:
- hoover switch (Fig. A, 1 / 10)
- washing button (Fig. A, 2).
These buttons allow dry vacuuming, wet cleaning, extraction washing.
8. Connecting to the mains
Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, ensure that the supply voltage corresponds to the value indicated on the rating plate. The power supply installation should comply with the essential requirements for electrical installations and meet the safety requirements for use. The parameters for the minimum cross-section of the supply cable and the nominal value of the fuse, depending on the power of the appliance, are given in the table below:
| Unit power [W] | Minimum conductor cross-section [mm2] | Minimum fuse type C [A] |
| <1400 | 1,0 | 16 |
The installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. When using extension cables, ensure that the conductor cross-section is not smaller than required (see table). Arrange the electrical cable so that it is not at risk of being cut during operation. Do not use damaged extension cords. Periodically check the condition of the power supply cable. Do not pull on the power cable.
9. Operation of the device

Before starting up the unit, it is essential to carry out the steps described in the section 'Preparing
for operation'.
Cleaning dry surfaces
Unplug the hoover from the power supply. Remove the top cover and place a HEPA type filter and a dust bag over the filter basket. Close the lid, connect the hose and aluminium tubes as indicated in step 7. Attach a wide brush to the end of the tube for vacuuming. Connect the hoover to the power supply. Start the hoover.
If the dust bag is full, the hoover motor will be noticeably louder. Switch off the hoover, unplug it from the power supply, remove the top cover and dispose of the spoil.
Cleaning wet surfaces
Disconnect the hoover from the power supply. Remove the top cover and place a sponge filter on the filter basket (do not use a HEPA filter for wet cleaning!). Close the lid, connect the hose and aluminium tubes as indicated in point 7. Attach a wide brush to the end of the tube for vacuuming. Connect the hoover to the power supply. Start the hoover. If the spoil hopper is full, the float in the filter basket will trip and the hoover will not suck up water. The hoover should then be switched off, disconnected from the power supply, the top cover removed and the collected water poured out. Remove the sponge filter from the filter
basket, wring out the water and put it back on the filter basket. The sponge filter can be washed under running water, dried and reused.
Washing mode
Disconnect the hoover from the power supply. Remove the top cover and place the sponge filter on the filter basket. Close the lid, connect the hose and aluminium tubes as indicated in step 7.
Pour water into the water tank (fig. A, 15) together with the detergent (check the proportions in which the mixture should be made up). Turn off the water tank. Connect the hose to the tank, push the end of the hose into the pump port on the hoover housing (fig. A, 14). Connect the hoses on the hoover tubes, Attach the washing brush to the end of the hoover tube (wide for washing large surfaces, e.g. carpets, rugs, etc., narrow for washing smaller or more inaccessible surfaces, e.g. car upholstery).
Connect the hoover to the power supply. Start the hoover and then activate the water feed pump by pressing the button above the water tank. A mixture of water and detergent will be fed through the hose system. To start the wash, press the drain button located at the handle of the flexible hose.
When the washing is complete, switch off the hoover using the power switch. Disconnect the hoover from the power source, remove the top cover, remove the dirty water from the tank.
Do not use high foaming detergents. Thoroughly mix the detergent and water to make the mixture as homogeneous as possible. An anti-foaming agent can be added to the mixture.
Do not run the hoover in wash mode if the laundry mixture tank is empty. Running it dry can burn out the pump.
Empty the wash tank as soon as the float is activated. After emptying the tank, dry it before using it again.
10. Ongoing maintenance
WARNING
All maintenance must be carried out with the unit unplugged.
Cleaning the tank
Remove debris from the tank frequently to avoid damage to the hoover. To clean the inside of the hoover, dispose of the dirt collected in the tank or pour it into a waste tank or sewer. Check that the tank is not wet, if so - dry thoroughly. Cleaning and drying the tank is particularly important, as bacteria and mould can grow rapidly due to the presence of moisture and heat.
Cleaning the HEPA filter
The HEPA filter can be cleaned with a jet of compressed air (using a compressor, for example) or rinsed under running water and allowed to dry. Do not use a wet filter in the hoover.
Cleaning the sponge filter
The sponge filter can be washed under running water, dried and reused.
Storage of the hoover
Store the cleaned, thoroughly dried hoover in the original box in a dry place, out of the reach of children and bystanders.
