How to assemble the Worx WX038 vacuum cleaner?

Make sure the machine is locked in place. Attach the tube and desired accessory (pet brush, dusting brush, or crevice tool) by snapping them together. Insert the battery pack until it clicks. For more details, refer to figures A1 and A2 in the manual.

How to empty the dustbin?

Press the release button to remove the dustbin. Empty the debris before it reaches the MAX line. For a thorough cleaning, remove the filter and cyclone, rinse the bin with water, and let it dry completely before reassembling.

How to clean the vacuum filter?

Remove the dustbin, then remove the filter from the top part. Rinse the filter with water and let it dry completely before putting it back. It is recommended to clean it every 3 months.

How to clean the brush roll?

Press the brush roll release button located under the floor nozzle. Remove the roll, pull off tangled hair, then rinse with water if necessary. Let it dry before reinstalling. Monthly cleaning is recommended.

What accessories are provided with the Worx WX038?

Depending on the model, accessories may include: a pet brush, a dusting brush, a crevice tool, a tube, a wall mount, and a dual charger. Check the component list in the manual to verify what is included.

How to charge the battery?

Use only the provided charger (model WA3880 or adapter ZD012A216050EU). Plug the charger into a power outlet and insert the battery pack. During charging, three white indicator lights flash; when fully charged, the lights stay on for 1 minute then turn off. The dual charger shows a flashing white light during charging, then green.

What to do if suction is weak?

Check that the dustbin is not full (empty it if necessary). Clean or replace the filter element. Make sure the battery is sufficiently charged. If the problem persists, check that the air ducts are not blocked by foreign objects.

Does the vacuum heat up during use?

Yes, slight heating is normal. If the machine gets too hot, stop it and check that the dustbin is not too full or the filters are not blocked. Refer to the troubleshooting section of the manual.

Can I vacuum water with this vacuum?

No, the Worx WX038 vacuum is designed for dry cleaning only. Never vacuum water, corrosive liquids, or flammable substances. This could damage the machine and cause fire or electric shock.

How to install the wall mount?

Choose a hard wall surface. Drill a pilot hole, align the wall mount, and tighten the screw. It is recommended to place the mount at 80 cm from the floor for the vacuum and at 120 cm for the charger. Attach the dual charger to the mount if necessary.

1.PRODUCT SAFETY GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

SAFETY WARNINGS FOR BATTERY PACK

a) Do not dismantle, open or shred cells or battery pack.
b) Do not short-circuit a battery pack. Do not store battery packs haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by conductive materials.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other

metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.

c) Do not expose battery pack to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
d) Do not subject battery pack to mechanical shock.
e) In the event of battery leaking, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
f) Keep battery pack clean and dry.
g) Wipe the battery pack terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty.
h) Battery pack needs to be charged before use. Always refer to this instruction and use the correct charging procedure.
i) Do not maintain battery pack on charge when not in use.
j) After extended periods

of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the battery pack several times to obtain maximum performance.

k) Recharge only with the charger specified by Worx. Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the equipment.

I) Do not use any battery pack which is not designed for use with the equipment.

m) Keep battery pack out of the reach of children.

n)Retain the original product literature for future reference.

o) Remove the battery from the equipment when not in use.

p) Dispose of properly.

q) Do not mix cells of different manufacture, capacity, size or type within a device.

r) Keep the battery away from microwaves and high pressure.

OPERATION
ON/OFFPress the On/Off button to turn the vacuum on low mode. 6.MAINTENANCE

WARNING: Remove the battery before carrying out any servicing or maintenance.

Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your power tool. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Always store your power tool in a dry place. Keep the motor ventilation slots clean. Keep all working controls free of debris. If you see some sparks flashing in the ventilation slots, this is normal and will not damage your power tool.

Included accessories can be attached to clean upholstery, stairs, cars and more.

Precautions when using the machine

Cannot be used to absorb water.

Cannot be washed in water.

When cleaning or maintaining, remove the battery pack.

The product is intended for use on flat surfaces in indoor environments, and may not achieve optimal results if used on uneven surfaces.

Do not get the body of the machine wet, as this may cause a short circuit and result in fire or electric shock.

FOR BATTERY TOOLS

The ambient temperature range for tool and battery use and storage is (0 °C-45 °C).

The recommended ambient temperature range for the charging system during charging is (0 °C-40 °C).

Details regarding safe disposal of used batteries

At the end of the life of the appliance, remove the battery pack safely before disposing of the appliance. Do not throw batteries away or throw them in the normal trash can. Also do not dispose of the battery with the machine. Remove the used battery pack from the appliance and dispose of it at the nearest or convenient dedicated recycling facility. If in doubt, consult your local environmental protection department. Batteries may enter water cycle if disposed improperly, which can be hazardous for ecosystem. Do not dispose of waste batteries as unsorted municipal waste.

7. TROUBLESHOOTING
