Frequently Asked Questions - WX031L WORX

How to assemble the Worx WX031L vacuum?
To assemble the vacuum, first install the hose hook on the cover (facing upward). Attach the shoulder strap if desired. For vacuuming, insert the hose into the suction port (position 1). For blowing, use the fan outlet (position 2). The wide and flat nozzles clip onto the hose.
How to use the blower mode?
Open the rubber cover on position 2 (fan outlet). Insert the hose into this outlet. Turn the ON/OFF switch to on. To reduce the flow, press the ECO button. Never point the nozzle at people or animals.
How to clean the HEPA filter?
Remove the battery. Unlock the latches and remove the cover. Unscrew the filter screws, remove the filter and gently shake it to remove dust. Never machine wash the filter. Allow to dry completely before reinstalling.
What to do if suction is weak?
First check that the collection tank is not full. Clean or replace the HEPA filter. Make sure the tank cover is properly locked and the hose is not blocked. A low battery may also reduce suction.
Which battery to use with the WX031L?
Use only Worx 20V batteries from the WA series, such as models WA3520 (1.5 Ah), WA3525 (2.0 Ah), WA3575 (2.0 Ah), WA3578 (4.0 Ah) or WA3012 (4.0 Ah). Using other batteries may be dangerous.
Can I vacuum flammable liquids?
No, it is strictly forbidden to vacuum flammable or combustible liquids like gasoline, or burning objects (cigarettes, hot ashes). This poses a risk of fire or explosion.
How to empty the collection tank?
Remove the battery. Unlock the latches on both sides and remove the cover. Empty the tank, clean if necessary with warm water and mild soap. Make sure all parts are dry before reassembling.
Does the ECO light stay on in normal mode?
No, the ECO light is only on in economy mode (reduced speed). In high speed, the light is off. To switch between modes, press the ECO button.
Can I use the vacuum without filter?
No, never use the vacuum without a filter. The filter protects the motor and ensures efficient suction. If suction decreases, clean or replace the filter.
How to store the vacuum?
Clean the vacuum and remove residues. Coil the hose and store it inside the collection tank or on the hook. Store the device in a dry, frost-free place between 0°C and 45°C, out of reach of children.
