How to fill the water tank?
Turn off and unplug the appliance. Turn the tank safety lock to horizontal position, then remove the tank. Disconnect the pump, fill the tank with cold water (possibly with frozen ice packs), then reposition the pump by fixing the hook in the groove. Close the tank and put the safety lock back.
How to use the cooler function?
Ensure the tank contains enough water (minimum above low level). Press the Cooler (6/f) button to activate the function. To deactivate, press again. Using ice packs and cold water improves cooling.
How to set the timer?
Press the Timer (5/e) button to select the desired operating time (1 to 7 hours). The indicator lights show the programmed time. At the end of the countdown, the appliance turns off automatically. If the timer is not used, the appliance switches off after 12 hours.
How to activate oscillation?
Press the Oscillation (2/b) button to activate the automatic movement of the vertical blades. To deactivate, press again. The horizontal louvers can be adjusted manually.
What are the different ventilation modes?
The appliance offers three modes: Normal (constant speed), Breeze (alternating power to simulate a breeze) and Night (operates at speed 2 for 15 minutes, then switches to speed 1 until stop). Select them with the Modes (4/d) button.
How to clean the appliance?
Unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Clean the surface with a damp cloth moistened with a few drops of mild detergent, then dry. Do not use solvents, acidic/alkaline or abrasive products. Do not immerse the appliance in water.
What to do if the appliance does not turn on?
Check that the power cord is properly plugged in and the mains socket works. Ensure the water tank is in place and the safety lock is securely closed. If the problem persists, contact an authorized Taurus technical service.
How to transport the appliance?
Use the carrying handle (I) located at the back. Before moving the appliance, turn it off and unplug it. Wait 2 minutes after turning off to allow water in the pipes to return to the tank, then empty the tank if necessary.
Can I use ice packs?
Yes, to maximize the cooling function, place one or more pre-frozen ice packs in the water tank. This lowers the water temperature and improves cooling efficiency.
What does the flashing indicator light mean?
The indicator light flashes when the water level in the tank is very low. Turn off and unplug the appliance, then fill the tank with water. Do not operate the appliance without water or with insufficient water level.
