How to connect my phone via Bluetooth?

Turn on the speaker with the remote control, press the BT button to switch to Bluetooth mode. Enable Bluetooth on your phone and search for devices. Select WS400DUO from the list. If prompted, enter the PIN code 0000.

What to do if the sound is distorted?

Check that the volume is not at maximum. Reduce the volume on the speaker or the audio source. Make sure the distance between the speaker and the Bluetooth source does not exceed 10 meters and that no obstacles interfere.

How to use the AUX input?

Connect an RCA audio cable (not included) from your audio source to the AUX input of the speaker. Turn on the speaker and press the AUX button on the remote control. Control playback from your device.

How to clean the speaker?

Unplug the speaker before cleaning. Use a soft dry cloth. Do not use abrasive products, solvents, or harsh cleaners.

The remote control does not work, what to do?

Check the remote control batteries: use AA Ni-MH, alkaline, or lithium batteries. Ensure correct polarity. Point the remote at the speaker and move closer.

Can I use the speaker outdoors?

No, the speaker is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose it to rain, moisture, or heat sources.

How to reset the device?

In case of electrostatic discharge, the speaker may turn off. Unplug the adapter and plug it back in after a few seconds. If the problem persists, contact technical support.

The speaker does not have a built-in battery; it must always be plugged into the power adapter. The remote control uses replaceable batteries.

Getting started

Take the device out of the box.
- Remove all the packaging from the product.
- Place the packaging inside the box or dispose of it safely in compliance with the waste sorting instructions shown on the outside.

Safety warning and notice

You must read and understand all the instructions before using this device. The warranty will not apply if damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions.

1. Never remove the device casing.
2. Never place this device on top of other electrical equipment.
3. Protect the power cable from being stepped on or pinched, particularly at the plugs, sockets, and the point where it exits the device. Make sure that the power rating corresponds to the voltage shown on the rating plate at the rear of the device. Always pull the plug from the socket when disconnecting from the mains. Never pull on the cable. Ensure you have completed all the other connections before connecting the mains plug.
4. Only use attachments/accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer.

5. Entrust all device repairs to qualified repairers. Repair is needed when there has been damaged in any fashion, and in particular:

Automatic standby

When you are playing audio media from a connected accessory, the speaker automatically goes into standby if:

• You don't press any buttons for 10 minutes:
• No sound data is transmitted from a connected device for 10 minutes.

Features and connections

Using the auxiliary RCA input

1. Connect an audio input cable (not included) to the audio input on the speaker and an audio source.
2. Press the button on the remote control to turn on the device.
3. Press the AUX button on the remote control to switch to AUX mode.
4. Use the controls on the connected audio device to start playing music through the connected speaker.

Using Bluetooth

Please note: the maximum connection distance is approximately 10 m. Place your Bluetooth speaker as close as possible to this appliance to prevent the connection being disrupted.

Make sure your mobile phone is Bluetooth-compatible. Some pairing steps may vary by mobile phone. Please consult your phone's user guide for more information. The main pairing steps are as follows:

1. Keep the WS400DUO speaker and phone 1 metre or less apart during pairing.
2. Press the button on the remote control to turn on the device.
3. Press the BT button on the remote control to switch to BT mode.
4. Activate your phone's Bluetooth function and search for Bluetooth devices. When the search is complete, select "WS400DUO" from the list of Bluetooth devices.
5. If prompted, enter the password or PIN code: "0000" and press "Yes" or "Confirm".
6. Once paired successfully, select "WS400DUO" from the list of Bluetooth devices and press "Connect"

7. Press to play/pause the music.

8. Press "VOL+" to increase the volume.

9. Press "VOL-" to reduce the volume.
10. Press " " to return to the previous song.
11. Press " " to skip to the next song.

Warning about batteries

This product contains one or more batteries.

• Use batteries correctly to prevent any injury or re caused by a leak, overheating, explosion, erosion or other damage.
• Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children or any vulnerable person. Stop using the device if the battery compartment does not close properly.
  If the liquid from an alkaline battery comes into contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with fresh water and consult a physician.
• If an alkaline battery leaks, clean the liquid with a cloth and replace the battery with a new one.
• Do not swallow batteries. If swallowed, a battery can cause severe internal burns in 2 hours and can cause death. If batteries are swallowed, contact a poison centre immediately and consult a physician.
• Use AA Ni-MH, alkaline or lithium batteries.
• Do not charge these batteries. Charging non-rechargeable batteries generates gas or heat emissions that can cause explosions or res.
• Do not use different types of batteries or a mixture of new and old batteries.
• Insert the batteries according to the correct polarity (+ and -).
• Do not allow the same battery poles to be in contact.
• Remove spent batteries quickly. There is a risk of the battery exploding if it is not replaced or if the device is unused for a long period of time.
• Replace the battery with an identical or equivalent model.
• The batteries (or battery pack) mu not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunlight, re, etc.
• Do not heat batteries or dispose of them in a re or in water.
• Do not use metal pliers or metal objects such as the point of a pen or tweezers to remove batteries. Avoid deforming, crushing or piercing batteries.
• Do not disassemble the batteries.
• Cover the ends of the batteries with tape to prevent explosions and combustion when these are scrapped.
• Scrap batteries in an environmentally friendly way.
• Do not dispose of batteries in ordinary household waste.
• When disposing of batteries, be sure to follow local disposal regulations.

• When the device does not transmit audio output for a certain amount of time, it will automatically go into standby mode to save energy. It can then be switched back on using the power button
• If an incoming call is received while the WS400DUO system is connected to your mobile phone during music playback, the music will immediately pause when you answer the call, and start again once the call is finished (depending on the mobile phone, playback may sometimes stay paused after the end of the call).
