How to connect my phone via Bluetooth?

Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth mode (blue LED indicator). On your phone, enable Bluetooth and search for devices. Select 'WS702' from the list. If pairing fails, disconnect all Bluetooth devices by holding down the volume button in Bluetooth mode, then try again.

What to do if the speaker produces no sound?

Check that the speaker is powered on (LED indicator on). Make sure the audio cables are properly connected and that the audio source is outputting a signal. Also check that the volume is not at minimum.

How to connect the speaker to my TV?

Use the TV Audio port on the back of the speaker with a high-speed TV cable (not included). Select TV mode (green LED indicator) by pressing the 'TV' button on the remote control or by turning the mode/volume knob. Set the TV audio output to 'PCM' in the audio settings.

Can I play music via a USB flash drive?

Yes, insert a USB flash drive (up to 32 GB, MP3 format) into the USB port on the back. Press the 'USB' button on the remote control or turn the mode/volume knob until the LED indicator turns pink. Playback starts automatically.

How to use the optical input?

Connect an optical cable (included) between the audio source (e.g., a TV) and the OPT port on the speaker. Select optical mode (white LED indicator) by pressing the 'OPT' button on the remote control or by turning the mode/volume knob.

I have no sound after an optical connection, what should I do?

Check that the optical cable is fully inserted. In your TV's audio settings, set the 'Audio output mode' to 'PCM'. Consult your TV manual if necessary, as menu names may vary.

How to use the remote control?

The remote control allows you to change source (BT, OPT, TV, USB, LINE), adjust volume, pause/play, skip to next/previous track, mute (MUTE), and select sound modes (MOVIE, MUSIC, VOICE).
Note: the remote control requires batteries (not included, AA type).

What to do if the speaker does not turn on?

Check that the AC adapter is properly connected to the speaker and to a working power outlet. Ensure that the power outlet switch (if any) is in the on position. If the problem persists, contact support.

What are the safety precautions for batteries?

Use AA Ni-MH, alkaline, or lithium batteries. Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Insert batteries respecting polarity. Do not mix different types of batteries or new and used batteries. Keep batteries out of reach of children. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.

How to clean the speaker?

Always unplug the speaker before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive products, solvents, or harsh cleaners. Do not lubricate any part of the device.

Getting started

• Take the appliance out of the box.
- Remove all the packaging from the product.
- Place the packaging inside the box or dispose of it safely in compliance with the waste sorting instructions shown on the product packaging.

Line in input

1. Press the mode/volume button to select a Line in input. The indicator light turns blue.
2. Use the appropriate RCA cable to connect an audio source to the speakers.
3. Play music from your connected device and adjust the volume on your device or by turning the "Mode" button.

TV Audio input

1. Connect the TV AUDIO on the speaker to the TV out port of the TV with a High speed cable.
2. Select the "GREEN" LED indicator by pressing the "TV" button on the remote or press the mode/volume button.
3. Set the TVs audio output to "PCM". (More information on PCM page).

USB input

1. Insert a USB drive into the USB A port on the rear.
2. Select the "PINK" LED indicator by pressing the "TV" button on the remote. Or press the mode /volume button.
3. The maximum size of USB media for MP3 playback should not exceed 32GB.

Optical input

1. Press the mode/volume button to select the optical input. The indicator turns light white.
2. Use the appropriate optical cable to connect an audio source to the speakers.
3. Play music from your connected device and adjust the volume on your device or by turning the "Mode" button.

Bluetooth operation

1. Select the "BLUE" LED indicator by pressing the "BT" button on the remote, or press the mode/volume button.
2. Go to setup section on your source device (mobile phones, tablets, etc) and search for nearby Bluetooth device to find "WS702" in the list.
3. Pair your device with "WS702".
4. Play the audio tracks on your device and adjust the volume according to preference.
5. Double-tap quickly to disconnect Bluetooth.

Setting the electronic control module (PCM) on your TV

If there is no sound from TV or Speaker when all cables are connected properly and the LED indicator light is correct (Optical or digital connection), adjust your TV settings as below:

1. Press the "Menu" button on the TV remote control.
2. Select "Audio Settings".
3. Select "Audio Output Mode" or "Digital Audio Output Mode".
4. Select "PCM" as the audio output mode.

5. Press "OK" to save the settings

6. Select "Advanced Audio" - some TVs may not have an "Advanced Audio" menu and instead display a list of audio settings.

Digital audio output settings may differ by brand, so please check your TV's instruction manual.

Auxiliary output

You can add external speaker to WS702 by plugging in a 3.5mm jack cable to the auxiliary output on back panel. This will output the sound to another speaker.

Subwoofer output

You can add external subwoofer to WS702 by using the subwoofer output. It will reinforce low frequency.

WARNING: risk of hearing impairment

Set a low volume on the playback device before connecting the headphones to the sound source.

To prevent hearing damage, avoid excessive volume, particularly over extended periods. Excessive volume can result in permanent hearing impairment.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
No sound Check that the	power indicator is ON.
	Try increasing the volume with the central control knob or the remote control.
	Make sure the audio cables are securely connected and the input is properly set to the speakers.
	Check if there is an output signal from the audio source.
Unable to connect via Bluetooth	Make sure the speaker is set to Bluetooth mode. Bluetooth may not be paired correctly, so repeat the procedure.
	Disconnect any Bluetooth device by pressing and holding the volume button in Bluetooth mode, then try again.
The WS702 bookshelf speaker does not turn on.	The effective Bluetooth transmission range is 10 metres; remember not to exceed this range.
	Try connecting another Bluetooth device.
	Check that the unit is properly connected to the mains and the mains socket is switched on.

Warning about batteries

This product contains one or more batteries.

• Use batteries correctly to prevent any injury or fire caused by a leak, overheating, explosion, erosion or other damage.
• Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children or any vulnerable person. Stop using the device if the battery compartment does not close properly.
• If the liquid from an alkaline battery comes into contact with the skin and/or eyes, rinse immediately with fresh water and consult a physician.
• If an alkaline battery leaks, wipe up the liquid with a cloth and replace the battery with a new one.
• Do not swallow batteries. If swallowed, a battery can cause severe internal burns in 2 hours and can cause death. If batteries are swallowed, contact a poison centre immediately and consult a physician.
• Use AA Ni-MH, alkaline or lithium batteries.
• Do not charge these batteries. Charging non-rechargeable batteries causes gas and/or heat emissions that can cause explosions and/or fires.
• Do not use different types of batteries or a mixture of new and old batteries.
• Insert the batteries according to the correct polarity (+ and -).

• Do not put the same battery poles in contact with each other.

• Remove dead batteries quickly. There is a risk of the battery exploding if it is not replaced correctly or if the appliance is unused for a period of time.

• Replace the battery with an identical or equivalent model.
• The batteries (or battery pack) must not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunlight, fire, etc.
• Do not heat batteries or dispose of them in fire or water.
• Do not use metal pliers or metal objects such as the point of a pen or tweezers to remove batteries. Avoid deforming, crushing or piercing batteries.
• Do not disassemble the batteries.
• Cover the ends of the batteries with tape to prevent explosions and combustion when these are scrapped.
• Scrap batteries in an environmentally friendly way
• Do not dispose of batteries in ordinary household waste.
• Be sure to comply with the local regulations in force when scrapping batteries.

Additional information

• When the appliance does not transmit audio output for a certain amount of time, it will automatically go into and by mode to save energy. It can be switched back ON by using the POWER selector
