Getting started
• Take the appliance out of the box.
- Remove all the packaging from the product.
- Place the packaging inside the box or dispose of it safely in compliance with the waste sorting instructions shown on the product packaging.
Safety warning and notice
You must read and understand all the instructions before using this appliance. The warranty will not apply if damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions.

Make sure that the power voltage corresponds to the voltage shown on the rating plate at the rear of the appliance. Always pull the plug from the socket when disconnecting from the mains. Never pull on the cord. Ensure you have completed all the other connections before connecting the mains plug.

Make sure you have enough space for ventilation. Place the product on a stable surface.

The batteries (battery pack or inserted batteries) must not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunshine, fire, etc.
- Always unplug the device before cleaning it. Never lubricate any part of this appliance. Clean it with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive products or harsh cleaners.
- Ensure that you always have easy access to the power cord, plug or adapter to disconnect this appliance from the mains if necessary.
- Do not use this appliance near water. It must not be dripped on or splashed. Do not use this appliance in a damp or wet environment.

Line in input
- Press the mode/volume button to select a Line in input. The indicator light turns blue.
- Use the appropriate RCA cable to connect an audio source to the speakers.
- Play music from your connected device and adjust the volume on your device or by turning the "Mode" button.
TV Audio input
- Connect the TV AUDIO on the speaker to the TV out port of the TV with a High speed cable.
- Select the "GREEN" LED indicator by pressing the "TV" button on the remote or press the mode/volume button.
- Set the TVs audio output to "PCM". (More information on PCM page).
USB input
- Insert a USB drive into the USB A port on the rear.
- Select the "PINK" LED indicator by pressing the "TV" button on the remote. Or press the mode /volume button.
- The maximum size of USB media for MP3 playback should not exceed 32GB.
Optical input
- Press the mode/volume button to select the optical input. The indicator turns light white.
- Use the appropriate optical cable to connect an audio source to the speakers.
- Play music from your connected device and adjust the volume on your device or by turning the "Mode" button.
Bluetooth operation
- Select the "BLUE" LED indicator by pressing the "BT" button on the remote, or press the mode/volume button.
- Go to setup section on your source device (mobile phones, tablets, etc) and search for nearby Bluetooth device to find "WS702" in the list.
- Pair your device with "WS702".
- Play the audio tracks on your device and adjust the volume according to preference.
- Double-tap quickly to disconnect Bluetooth.
Setting the electronic control module (PCM) on your TV
If there is no sound from TV or Speaker when all cables are connected properly and the LED indicator light is correct (Optical or digital connection), adjust your TV settings as below:
- Press the "Menu" button on the TV remote control.
- Select "Audio Settings".
- Select "Audio Output Mode" or "Digital Audio Output Mode".
- Select "PCM" as the audio output mode.

Press "OK" to save the settings

Select "Advanced Audio" - some TVs may not have an "Advanced Audio" menu and instead display a list of audio settings.
Digital audio output settings may differ by brand, so please check your TV's instruction manual.
Auxiliary output
You can add external speaker to WS702 by plugging in a 3.5mm jack cable to the auxiliary output on back panel. This will output the sound to another speaker.
Subwoofer output
You can add external subwoofer to WS702 by using the subwoofer output. It will reinforce low frequency.
WARNING: risk of hearing impairment

Set a low volume on the playback device before connecting the headphones to the sound source.
To prevent hearing damage, avoid excessive volume, particularly over extended periods. Excessive volume can result in permanent hearing impairment.
Troubleshooting

Warning about batteries
This product contains one or more batteries.
- Use batteries correctly to prevent any injury or fire caused by a leak, overheating, explosion, erosion or other damage.
- Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children or any vulnerable person. Stop using the device if the battery compartment does not close properly.
- If the liquid from an alkaline battery comes into contact with the skin and/or eyes, rinse immediately with fresh water and consult a physician.
- If an alkaline battery leaks, wipe up the liquid with a cloth and replace the battery with a new one.
- Do not swallow batteries. If swallowed, a battery can cause severe internal burns in 2 hours and can cause death. If batteries are swallowed, contact a poison centre immediately and consult a physician.
- Use AA Ni-MH, alkaline or lithium batteries.
- Do not charge these batteries. Charging non-rechargeable batteries causes gas and/or heat emissions that can cause explosions and/or fires.
- Do not use different types of batteries or a mixture of new and old batteries.
- Insert the batteries according to the correct polarity (+ and -).

Do not put the same battery poles in contact with each other.
-
Remove dead batteries quickly. There is a risk of the battery exploding if it is not replaced correctly or if the appliance is unused for a period of time.
- Replace the battery with an identical or equivalent model.
- The batteries (or battery pack) must not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunlight, fire, etc.
- Do not heat batteries or dispose of them in fire or water.
- Do not use metal pliers or metal objects such as the point of a pen or tweezers to remove batteries. Avoid deforming, crushing or piercing batteries.
- Do not disassemble the batteries.
- Cover the ends of the batteries with tape to prevent explosions and combustion when these are scrapped.
- Scrap batteries in an environmentally friendly way
- Do not dispose of batteries in ordinary household waste.
- Be sure to comply with the local regulations in force when scrapping batteries.

Additional information
- When the appliance does not transmit audio output for a certain amount of time, it will automatically go into and by mode to save energy. It can be switched back ON by using the POWER selector
- If an incoming call is received while the WS702 sy em is connected to your mobile phone during music playback, the music will immediately pause when you answer the call and resume after the call ends. Depending on the mobile phone, playback may sometimes ay paused after the end of the call.
