Getting started

• Take the appliance out of the box.
- Remove all the packaging from the product.
- Place the packaging inside the box or dispose of it safely in compliance with the waste sorting instructions shown on the product packaging.

Safety warning and notice

You must read and understand all the instructions before using this appliance. The warranty will not apply if damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions.

1. Never remove the appliance casing.
2. Never place this appliance on top of other electrical equipment.
3. Protect the power cord from being stepped on or pinched, particularly at the plugs, sockets, and the point where it exits the appliance. Make sure that the power voltage corresponds to the voltage shown on the rating plate at the rear of the appliance. Always pull the plug from the socket when disconnecting from the mains. Never pull on the cord. Ensure you have completed all the other connections before connecting the plug.

4. Only use attachments/accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer.

5. Entrust all appliance repairs to qualified repairers. Repair is needed when the appliance has been damaged in any fashion, and in particular:

11. The series panel is located on the bottom of the appliance.

12. Never block the air vents.
13. Make sure you have enough space for ventilation. Place the product on a stable surface.
14. This device must be used in a moderate climate, away from direct sunlight, naked flames or heat, heating devices, cookers or any other devices (including amplifiers) that generate heat. Do not install near a heat source.

15. The batteries (battery pack or inserted batteries) must not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunshine, fire, etc.

16. Always unplug the device before cleaning it. Never lubricate any part of this appliance. Clean it with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive products or harsh cleaners.

17. Ensure that you always have easy access to the power cord, plug or adaptor to disconnect this appliance from the mains if necessary.
18. Do not use this appliance near water. It must not be dripped on or splashed. Do not use this appliance in a damp or wet environment.
19. Disconnect this appliance in the event of a storm or if you are not going to use it for a long period of time.
20. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and over, and by persons with a physical or sensory disability, learning difficulties or a lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or have received instructions on the safe use of the appliance, and they understand the risks involved. Children must not play with the appliance or power cord (risk of strangulation). Children must not clean or maintain the appliance without supervision.
21. This device must only be supplied with very low safety voltage corresponding to the marking on the device.
22. The battery should be removed from the device before disposal. The device must be disconnected from the power supply when removing the battery.

Description of the unit's functions

Technical specifications of the adapter

In an environment with electrostatic discharges, the unit may turn off. The user must then reset the unit by turning it on and choosing the appropriate mode. Connections

1. Connect the speakers using the connecting cable provided.
2. Connect to power source: the standby indicator lights up.

When you connect the audio cable, remember to connect the terminals according to the correct polarity as indicated. *Make sure the black cable is plugged into the same colour on each speaker (e.g. black power supply to black power supply) and that the black and white cable is connected to the same colour on each speaker (e.g. red power supply to red power supply). If the connection is reversed, the sound quality will be lower.

Audio input

1. Press the "Mode" button to select the audio input.
   The indicator turns blue for Input 1 and orange for Input 2.
2. Use the appropriate RCA cable to connect an audio source to the speakers.
3. Play music from your connected device and adjust the volume on your device or by turning the "Mode" button.

Bluetooth operation

1. Turn on the speakers and switch to Bluetooth mode by pressing the main volume button on the back of the active speaker. The indicator turns blue.
2. Use the "Settings" function of your source device (mobile phone, tablet, etc.) and search for nearby Bluetooth devices: you will find "WS600DUO" in the list.
3. Pair your device with "WS600DUO".
4. Play the audio tracks on your connected device and adjust the volume according to your preference.
5. return to the "Settings" of your connected device to disconnect Bluetooth.

Comment: The maximum range is approximately 10 metres. Place your Bluetooth speaker as close as possible to the connected device to avoid interference with the connection.

Troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
No sound	Check that the power indicator is ON.
	Try increasing the volume with the central control knob or the remote control
	Make sure the audio cables are securely connected and the input is properly set to the speakers.
	Check if there is an output signal from the audio source.
Unable to connect via Bluetooth	Make sure that the speaker is set to the Bluetooth input; in another audio input mode, Bluetooth cannot be paired or connected.
	Disconnect any Bluetooth device by pressing and holding the volume button in Bluetooth mode, then try again.
The WS600DUO bookshelf speaker does not turn on	Given the effective Bluetooth transmission range of 10 metres, remember to make good use of it without exceeding this range.
	Try another Bluetooth device to be connected.
	Check that the unit is properly connected to the mains and that the switch of the mains socket is in the on position.

• If there is an incoming call while the WS600DUO unit is connected to your mobile phone during music playback, the music will immediately pause when you answer the call and resume after the call ends (depending on the mobile phone, playback may sometimes stay paused after the end of the call).
