USER MANUAL FFPS Duronic

  • Check that you have all of the correct parts as described in the Box Contents section below.
  • Clear a large enough area to assemble the screen. Make sure the area is larger than the sides of the screen.
  • Assembly of this screen requires at least two people for some of the steps.
  • Do not assemble the screen in areas of high temperature to avoid incurring any damage to the screen.
  • Ensure that you read through this manual entirely before beginning to assemble the screen. Tools Required for Assembly Box Contents

1) Ensure your assembly area is clean and completely clear. You will need at

least 2ft of space around all four sides of the screen when it is spread out.

2) Unpack all of the parts from the box and lay them out in an orderly way. Do

not unroll the screen yet.

4) Slide the tension pegs into the designated areas of

all pieces of the top frame rail where it is indicated with red arrow stickers. Slide tension pegs onto the bottom frame rail, then also do the same on both of the side frame rails. 2x Top frame rails 2x Bottom frame rails 2x Side frame rails Support bar Screen material Assemble the Frame

3) Take the two top frame rails and attach them

together sliding a joint bar into the at ends of both rails and pushing them together. Secure them with 4 joiner screws and tighten in place using the Allen key provided. Repeat the same for the bottom frame rails.8

5) Next, slide the hanging brackets into place.

There are either 4 of them included, 2 for the top frame and 2 for the bottom. These brackets will be used later to hang the screen on to the wall.

6) Next, join all of the sides together. Using the

L-joiners, slide one part into the top frame rail and the other part into one of the side frame rails. Secure in place using 4 joiner screws and tighten them into place using the Allen key. Repeat the same for every corner of the frame, so that all pieces of the frame rails are joined together. Prepare the Screen

7) Check rst that the oor is clean and dry. Gently unroll the screen and lay it

down on the oor with the viewing side face-down.

8) Starting with the single-ended rods, attach two together as shown to create

way through so that the rod appears at the other end. Repeat this for the bottom part of the screen, joining the remaining two single-ended rods together and pushing it through the bottom part of the screen. Then insert the two shorter double-ended rods into the sides of the screen.

11) Place the screen material onto the frame. Starting

from one end of the screen, start to push the tension pegs through the pre-made holes along the edge of the screen fabric. Work your way along the screen until all of the tension pegs are in their corresponding holes. Note:

  • The last few tension pegs may require rm pulling in order to keep the screen perfectly at.
  • The red arrows are for a guide only, the tension pegs do not need to align perfectly with these when the screen is tted. Check that everything looks correct before continuing.

12) Place the support bar in the middle of the screen diagonally.

Ensuring the ends of the support bar tuck underneath the back of the frame, slowly push the bar until it is vertical in the centre of the screen where the frame pieces join.10 Cleaning Installing the Screen onto the Wall

13) Decide on a location that you would like to

install you screen. Using a pencil and spirit level, mark your chosen location for the hanging screws. If the screen gathers dust, simply clean with a dry cloth or duster. If the screen has a mark or stain that needs to be removed, use a wet cloth with a mild soap to gently clean the screen. Use minimal pressure to prevent damaging the fabric. Do not use any abrasive chemicals or cleaning agents on any part of the screen or casing.

14) Use the raw plugs provided, or nd some suitable for your type of wall (i.e.

brick, plasterboard etc..) and install the screws using a Phillips screwdriver to tighten them into place. Please note: we have only included one type of raw plug with this kit. If your wall requires something different ensure you get the appropriate xings to ensure that the installation will be safe and secure.

15) Use two people to hang the screen. Stand at

opposite ends of the screen to each other and lift it gently into place onto the wall.
