What types of bags to use with the 970362 machine?

Use only embossed bags (waffle). Smooth bags are not suitable. The maximum opening width is 320 mm and the recommended thickness is 100 µm.

How to adjust the vacuum level?

The machine offers 9 programmed vacuum levels (numbers 1 to 9). For small bags (max 300x400 mm), use level 3. For large bags, levels 4 or 5. Levels 8/9 are reserved for external containers. Selection is made via the SET/SEAL and START/STOP buttons.

How to use the automatic cycle?

Switch to automatic mode by pressing SET/SEAL, then select AUT1 or AUT2 with START/STOP. Adjust the vacuum level (flashing number) with START/STOP (increase) or SET/SEAL (decrease). Then place the bag, close the lid and press START/STOP. The machine seals and stops the pump automatically.

What is the procedure for a manual cycle?

Place the food in the bag, insert the bag onto the sealing bar (embossed side down), close the lid. Briefly press START/STOP while keeping the lid closed (press the PUSH symbols). The pump extracts air. When the desired vacuum is reached, press SET/SEAL to seal. The sealing time is displayed.

Can the machine be used continuously?

No, the machine is not suitable for continuous use. Allow it to cool between cycles.

How to clean the machine?

Always unplug the machine before cleaning. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Never use abrasive products, solvents or sharp objects. Never immerse the machine in water. Clean the ventilation openings with a vacuum cleaner.

What are the important safety precautions?

Do not touch the welding bar after use (risk of burns). Be careful when closing the lid (hand crushing). Do not immerse electrical parts. Use on a stable surface, away from water. Always unplug before cleaning.

How to know if the machine is properly grounded?

Safety regulations

• This appliance is intended for buffet and household use.
• Only use the appliance for the intended purpose it was designed for as described in this manual.
• The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by incorrect operation and improper use.
• Keep the appliance and electrical plug away from water and other liquids. In the event the appliance falls into water, immediately remove the power plug from the socket. Do not use the appliance until it has been checked by a certified technician. Failure to follow these instructions will cause life threatening risks.
• Never attempt to open the housing of the appliance by yourself.
• Do not insert objects into the housing of the appliance.
• Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
• DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself, repairs are only to be conducted by qualified personnel.
• Never use a damaged appliance! When it's damaged, disconnect the appliance from the socket and contact the retailer.
• WARNING! Do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Never hold the appliance under running water.
• Regularly check the power plug and cord for any damage. When damaged it must be replaced by a service agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid danger or injury.

• Use the appliance only as described in this manual.
• DANGER OF BURNS! NEVER TOUCH THE SEALING BAR! It is very hot even after use. There is a danger of burns. Wait until the appliance has cooled down. Also, do not touch the appliance while in use.
• The appliance must be cleaned and food residues must be removed regularly. If the appliance is not maintained in a clean condition, this will lead to a detrimental effect on the service life of the appliance and can result in a dangerous condition during use.
• Do not place the appliance on a heating object (gasoline, electric, charcoal cooker, etc.) Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces and open flames. Always operate the appliance on a level, stable, clean, heat-resistant and dry surface.
• IMPORTANT! Keep all ventilation openings in the appliance clear of obstruction.

Grounding installation

This appliance is classified as protection class I and must be connected to a protective ground. Grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current.

This appliance is fitted with a power cord that has a grounding wire and grounded plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.

Before first use

• Check for any damage of the appliance. In case of any damage immediately contact your supplier and DO NOT use the appliance.
• Remove the entire packaging and protective film (if applicable).

• Clean the appliance using lukewarm water and soft cloth.

• Unless otherwise advised, place the appliance on a flat and firm surface.

• Ensure sufficient space around the appliance to enable its ventilation.
• Place the appliance in a way which enables easy access to the plug.

Technical specification

The vacuum packing appliance Profi Line are ONLY suitable for use with embossed (patterned) bags.

Bags which are completely smooth cannot be used with this appliance.

The recommended thickness of the bags is 100 m.

Operation of the vacuum appliance

• Connect the appliance to a 230 V outlet with ground.
• Switch the appliance on using the main button located on the right side of the appliance. A digit from 1 to 9 will be displayed indicating the set vacuum level (the lower the digit the weaker the vacuum).

- Then the digit will disappear and one red line will appear next to the "MAN" label.

- The appliance is ready to operate in manual mode.

NOTE: Appliance is not intended for continuous

operation.

The best way to adjust the digital panel: 9 different levels of vacuum have been programmed in the appliance. Each of them is 6 seconds long. The level must be selected according to the size of the bag. For example:

• Level 3 (18/19 seconds) for bags with a maximum size of 300 × 400 ~mm
• Levels 4 and 5 for larger bags with a maximum size of 400 × 500 ~mm
• Level 8/9 creating a vacuum in external containers

Manual mode

• Put the food product into the bag.
• Lift the lid of the packing appliance.
• Place the bag on the heating strip with the embossed side facing down. The bag should not go beyond the limiting strip (the metal ridge).
• Close the top lid of the appliance.
• Push the START/STOP button shortly at the same time pressing down the top lid of the appliance where it is marked PUSH. This increases the tightness of the lid.

• The appliance's pump is switched on, while the display shows the letter "A"

• Observe the bag from which air is removed.

• When the desired vacuum level has been reached, push the SET/SEAL button – the heating strip is activated while the display shows numbers (countdown of heating time).
• When the manometer shows the minimum value, you can easily open the lid of the appliance.
• The pump operation time in this mode cannot be regulated.
• When you push the START/STOP button during operation of the pump the bag will not be sealed and the vacuum will be released.

Automatic mode

• The display shows a highlighted red line at the bottom next to the "MAN" label – this marks the manual cycle.
• Push the SET/SEAL button shortly - the line starts flashing.
• Using the START/STOP button, other lines are activated (the second and third line with AUT 1 and AUT 2 label respectively).
• As long as the lines are flashing you can change the mode from manual to one of the two available automatic modes.

• After selecting the desired operation mode of the appliance, a digit from 1-9 starts flashing. It indicates the vacuum level.

• The vacuum level may be increased using the START/STOP button or decreased using the SET/SEAL button but only when the digit is flashing.

• After setting the vacuum level the digit stops flashing automatically and disappears. The display shows a highlighted line (lines) which indicates the operation mode.
• In the automatic mode (AUT 1 and AUT 2) press START/STOP to start the packing appliance.
• After removing air from the bag the appliance will activate the heating strip automatically and switch off the pump.
• When the manometer shows the minimum value, you can easily open the lid of the appliance.

Cleaning and maintenance

- Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.

NOTE: Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid!

• Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth (water with mild detergent).
• Never use aggressive cleaning agents or

abrasives. Do not use any sharp or pointed objects. Do not use petrol or solvents! Clean with a damp cloth and detergent if necessary. Do not use abrasive materials.

- Clean the ventilation slots (if applicable) with the vacuum cleaner.

Warranty

Any defect affecting the functionality of the appliance which becomes apparent within one year after purchase will be repaired by free repair or replacement provided the appliance has been used and maintained in accordance with the instructions and has not been abused or misused in any way. Your statutory rights are not affected. If the appliance is claimed under warranty, state where and when it was purchased and include proof of purchase (e.g. receipt).

Discarding & Environment

When decommissioning the appliance, the product must not be disposed of with other household waste. Instead, it is your responsibility to dispose to your waste equipment by handing it over to a designated collection point.
