i) Stop the machine before cleaning or

4) Maintenance and Storage

a) When the machine is stopped for ser- vicing, inspection, transporting or stor- age, shut o the machine, remove the battery and make sure all moving parts have come to a complete stop. Allow the machine to cool before making any inspections, adjustments, etc. b) Always allow the machine to cool down before storing. c) When not in use, store the machine out of the reach of children. d) Use only manufacturers recommended replacement parts and accessories. e) Store the product in a dry, clean place protected from direct sunlight and only after the battery has been removed.

Even if the machine is operated in accord- ance with the provision, residual risks will always still remain. The following dangers can arise in connection with the structure and design of the machine: a) Health defects resulting from vibration emission if the machine is being used over longer period of time or not ad- equately managed and properly main- tained. b) Injuries and damage to property due to broken accessories or hidden objects that are suddenly dashed. c) Injuries and damage to property due to thrown objects.

To reduce the impact of noise and vibra- tion emission, limit the time of operation, use low-vibration and low-noise operation modes as well as wear personal protec- tive equipment. Take the following points into account to minimize the vibration and noise exposure risks: a) Only use the machine as intended by its design and these instructions. b) Ensure that the machine is in good con- dition and well maintained. c) Use correct application tools for the machine and ensure they are in good condition. d) Keep tight grip on the handles/grip sur- faces. e) Maintain this machine in accordance with these instructions and keep it well lubricated (when appropriate). f) Plan your work schedule to spread any high vibration machine use across a number of days. FOR USE OF BATTERIES

a) Do not open, dismantle, shred or short- circuit batteries. Danger of explosion. b) Batteries (battery pack or batteries in- stalled) shall not be exposed to exces- sive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like. Protect from mechanical shock. Keep dry and clean. Keep away from children. c) Dispose of properly. Pay attention to environmental aspects of battery dis- posal. Do not dispose of in household waste. d) Remove batteries when not using the tool for a longer period of time. e) In case of battery leakage, remove the batteries and clean the battery com- partment thoroughly. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. f) In case of damage and improper use of the battery, Vapours may be emitted. Provide for fresh air and seek medical help in case of complaints. The vapours can irritate the respiratory system.EN

Push the rear and front tube together and secure with two long screws. Push wheel support on the front tube and se- cure with a short screw.

Mount additional handle. Select postion by loosening star screw. Tighten star screw to fix position..

Push handle on body until it clicks into place and secure with two short screws Open the knurled screw, feed the belt strap through the opening and close the knurled screw again.

Turn the speed control 12 to the required speed. Do not turn it faster than neces- sary..

Press the On/O switch 13 to switch on the device. Release to switch it o again. SUCTIONING Turn selector switch 10 to indicated po- sition. This can also be done while the device is operating. BLOWING Turn selector switch 10 to indicated po- sition. Empty catch bag 8 before blow- ing.

To remove, press the release buttons and pull out the batteries.

WORKING INSTRUCTIONS When blowing, make sweeping move- ments from side to side and walk slow- ly forwards.

INSERT BATTERIES Press two charged batteries (not in- cluded) into the insertion slot 11 until it clicks into place.

Caution! Make sure the batteries are always charged to the same level. Caution! Keep the collected pile of refuse in front of you and blow around the outer edge. Do not blow in the center of the pile!. To empty the catch bag 8, open the zip fastening at the bottom.

CATCH BAG Hang the hooks on the suction tube and the housing. Push the catch bag 8 over the catch bag socket 9 until it clicks into place. 1EN

A mild detergent can be used but nothing like alcohol, petrol or other cleaning agent. - Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts. - Store the appliance in a dry place. Warning!
