FUNCTION Introduction We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it. Intended use This product is designed only to clean indoor surfaces that withstand prolonged exposure to hot steam. Suitable for: Tiles, work surfaces, glazed tiles, mirrors and windows, blinds, WC’s, bathroom fittings, curtains, cushions, clothing, car seats. Not suitable for: Leather, polished furniture, waxed floors, synthetic fabrics, velvet or other delicate, steam sensitive materials. Use on waxed or some unwaxed floors may result in diminished glossiness. Before use: We recommended to perform a material test on an isolated area of the working surface. For best cleaning results: Check the care instructions from the corresponding manufacturer (if any). Do not use the product for any other purpose. This product is only intended for private household use, not for commercial purposes. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by improper use. Before use: Carry out a test on an isolated area. Thus you may ascertain that the material is suitable for steam cleaning. Examples: Painted/varnished wood or leather can be bleached by steam. Unprotected wood can swell up because of steam. Protective wax coatings can be dissolved by steam. Plastics can become tarnished from the effects of steam. Soft plastics can deform when exposed to steam. Cold glass or mirror surfaces can crack when sprayed with hot steam. Acrylics, velvet and silk react sensitively to hot steam. If you wish to clean windows, preheat them first: Apply the steam over large areas from a greater distance. Then, move in progressively closer. Scope of delivery After unpacking the product, check if the delivery is complete and if all parts are in good condition. Do not attempt to modify the product in any way. Use the product only on floors that have been well sealed and treated and are impervious to water. – With any steam power setting: on marble, stone, tile flooring. – With lowest steam power setting and with damp fiber cover for floor nozzle

on laminate, parquet or hardwood flooring. Never use the product: – on untreated or permeable floors, – on wax polished furniture or floors, – on carpets with wool content, – on steam sensitive materials. Electrical safety

DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Never attempt to repair the product yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.

WARNING! Risk of electric shock! Do not immerse the product’s electrical components in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.

WARNING! Risk of injury! The product has to be unplugged after use and before carrying out user maintenance on the product. The product is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking. Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product’s rating label. Regularly check the power plug and the power cord for damages. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Protect the power cord against damages. Do not let it hang over sharp edges, do not squeeze or bend it. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces and open flames and ensure that nobody can pull on or trip over it unintentionally. The product must not be left unattended while it is connected to the power supply. The liquid or steam must not be directed towards equipment containing electrical components, such as the interior of ovens. The filling aperture must not be opened during use. Burn hazards

DANGER! Risk of burns! Do not touch hot surfaces and beware of escaping steam. Hold the product by its handle only. Steam is very hot. Never put your hands in front of the steam jet. Operation Only use the product in dry indoor rooms. The power plug must be removed from the power supply before the water tank is filled with water. The use of extension cords is not recommended. If the use of an extension cord is necessary, it must be designed for a current flow of at least 10 A. Lay cords in such a way that they may not be tripped over or otherwise damaged.25GB/IE Do not operate the product with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands. Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Do not operate the product with an empty water tank. Never direct the steam toward people or animals. Hot steam can cause serious injuries! Do not add cleaning solutions, scented perfumes, oils or any other chemicals to the water tank as this may damage the product. No action is needed from users to shift the product between 50 and 60Hz. The product adapts itself for both 50 and 60Hz. Cleaning and storage Always turn off the product before disconnecting it from the power supply. Do not pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet by the power cord. Do not wrap the power cord around the product. Protect the product, its power cord and power plug against dust, direct sunlight, dripping and splashing water. Store the product in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and out of the reach of children. Protect the product against heat. Do not place the product close to open flames or heat sources such as stoves or heating appliances. Before first use o Remove all packaging materials. Check if all parts are complete. For cleaning washable walls and floor coverings (e.g. stone floors, tiles and PVC floors). ATTENTION! Damage due to build-up of steam! Heat and moisture can lead to damage. Use a minimal volume of steam prior to use to check the heat resistance and steam effect on an inconspicuous area. NOTES: o Detergent residue or care emulsions on the surface to be cleaned can lead to streaks during steam cleaning. The streaks disappear once the floor nozzle has been used several times. Accessory Function o Sweep or vacuum clean the floor before using the product. In this way the floor is free of dirt and loose particles before the wet cleaning commences. o Work slowly on surfaces that are heavily soiled. Fiber cover for floor nozzle

For connecting the extension pole with the extension nozzle. Assembly (Fig. B) Accessory Assembly Puller [9] o Fit the hooks (at the back of the puller [9]) into the slots of the upholstery nozzle

o Press the puller [9] against the upholstery nozzle [] until locked Fiber cover

o Fix the fiber cover [] on the upholstery nozzle

o Attach the intake to the steam outlet [1] of the product/extension hose

o Screw in a clockwise direction until tight. Extension hose

o Attach the intake to the steam outlet [1] of the product/extension pole with plug

o Attach the floor nozzle connector [] downward pointed and insert it completely into the floor nozzle

o Fit the hooks (at the back of the puller [9]) into the slots of the upholstery nozzle

o Press the puller [9] against the upholstery nozzle [] until locked. Attach the floor sets straight nozzle [], between extension pole [] and upholstery nozzle

Puller [9] o Dismount all the accessories in a reverse order. NOTE: Dismounting the puller[9]: Unlock the clip first. Operation Filling the water tank

DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Before filling the water tank [3]: Disconnect the power plug [8] from the mains socket.

CAUTION! Fill the water tank[3] with tap water or distilled water without any additives. If your tap water is hard: Use distilled water. If your tap water is moderately hard: Mix distilled water and tap water (ratio of 1:1). NOTES: As long as there are steam and pressure in the water tank [3] you cannot open the safety valve [4]. To open the water tank: – Release steam or – wait until the product has cooled down. Do not exceed the water tank’s [3] maximum fill capacity of 250 ml.

[4]. Before fully opening, wait a few seconds until the steam stops hissing.

2. Use the measuring cup

[] and the funnel[] to fill the water tank[3] through the water inlet [3].

3. Close the safety valve

[4].28 GB/IE Turning on/off o Connect the power plug[8] to a suitable mains socket. o The power indicator[] lights up. The product starts to produce steam immediately. o The product is ready to use when the steam indicator [] lights up. o Turning off the product: Disconnect the product from the mains socket. NOTES: The product takes around 3 minutes to preheat. The product has to be unplugged – after use, – before cleaning, and – before maintenance. Child safety lock (Fig. A) This product is equipped with a child safety lock [5]: Child safety lock Activate (position:

o Fully push in the symbol of the child safety lock [5]. o The steam trigger[6] can now no longer be pressed down. Deactivate (position:

WARNING! The product has to be maintained in an upright position – while being used, – under pressure or – filled with water. o Hold the product by its handle[7]. NOTES: Controlling the steam output: Gradually press the steam trigger [6]. Stop steaming when the steam indicator

goes off. Wait until the steam indicator lights up again. You may now resume with the work. If there is no steam output, although the steam indicator [] is on: Disconnect the power plug [8] from the mains socket. Refill the water tank [3]. Cleaning and care Cleaning the main unit

DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Before cleaning and maintenance: Disconnect the power plug [8] from the mains socket.

WARNING! Do not immerse the product’s electrical components in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water. o Wipe down the product with a slightly damp cloth. o Do not let any water or other liquids enter the product interior. o Do not use any abrasive, aggressive cleaners or hard brushes to clean the product. o After cleaning: Let all parts dry completely. Cleaning the accessories o Clean the accessories in warm, soapy water. o After cleaning: Let all accessories dry completely. Cleaning the fiber cover [] and fiber cover for floor nozzle

o The fiber cover[] and fiber cover for floor nozzle [] can be hand-washed in water with temperature up to 60 °C.29GB/IE o After cleaning: Let the fiber cover[] and fiber cover for floor nozzle [] dry completely. You may also use a tumble dryer at a low level (55 °C). Removing limescale If the steam power reduces drastically, it may be needed to remove the limescale from the water tank [3]/accessories: Water tank [3]:

1. Disconnect the power plug

[8] from the mains socket.

2. Fill the water tank

[3] with a mixture of tap water and vinegar (ratio of 2:1).

4. Drain the mixture into a sink.

5. Flush the water tank

[3] with fresh water (see “Filling the water tank”). Accessories:
