How to charge the KVR 22221 vacuum?

Place the stick vacuum on the charging base (fig. 7). Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. The blue LED light flashes during charging and stays continuously lit when the battery is fully charged. The charging time is about 4 hours.

What is the battery runtime?

The runtime is approximately 24 minutes at low speed and 17 minutes at high speed (tolerance ±10%). Runtime may vary depending on usage and battery condition.

How to clean the vacuum filters?

Remove the dust container, then the dust and fabric filters. Tap or brush them off. If very dirty, rinse them with water and dry them completely before reassembling. Never use solvents or sharp objects.

Why is my vacuum losing suction power?

This may be due to clogged filters or a full dust container (exceeding the MAX mark). Clean or replace the filters, and empty the dust container after each use.

Is this vacuum suitable for hard floors (parquet, tile)?

Yes, the floor nozzle is designed for hard floors and carpets. However, regularly check the condition of the nozzle: excessive wear may scratch delicate floors like parquet or linoleum. Use the vertical position during breaks to avoid damaging the floor.

How to empty the dust container?

Remove the handheld vacuum, press the dust container release button and take it out. Empty the contents. If necessary, wash the container with water and dry it before reassembling with the filters.

The roller brush does not spin, what to do?

Check that the brush is not blocked by threads or hair. Press the brush ejection button to remove it, cut the wrapped items with scissors, and remove them. Reassemble.

Can I use the handheld vacuum alone?

Yes. Press the release button to detach the handheld vacuum from the stick vacuum. Use it with or without the nozzles (crevice, upholstery) as needed.

What to do if the device does not turn on?

Check that the battery is charged. Plug the device into the charging base. If still no response, check the charging contacts (clean them if necessary). If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer.

How to maintain the floor nozzle?

Clean the floor nozzle regularly by removing the roller brush. Cut any threads or hair wrapped around the rollers. Periodically inspect the underside of the nozzle for excessive wear (sharp edges) that could damage floors.

• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the rechargeable battery or the product into fire. There is a danger of fire and explosion!
• Never charge the rechargeable battery of the product unattended.

Handstick vacuum cleaner

Fig. 4 Raise the handle and lock into place. To fold back the handle, press the unlocking knob and release the handle.
Fig. 5 Plug the handstick vacuum cleaner into the floor nozzle and lock into place. To release the floor nozzle, press the unlocking knob and pull the handstick vacuum cleaner out of the nozzle.

Note:

• Make sure that the contacts of the handstick vacuum cleaner and charging base are not dirty. Clean the contacts if necessary.
• When the handstick vacuum cleaner is inserted into the charger, the product is automatically switched off, should it have still been left on by accident.
• It is normal for the charging base and vacuum cleaner to become hot. It's not a cause for concern.
• The vacuum cleaner can be charged at any time when it is not in use.

Using handstick vacuum cleaner

Fig. 9 Remove the handstick vacuum cleaner from the charging base. Press the On/Off button to turn on. The operation indicators on the floor nozzle light up and indicate that the brush roller is turning.

Fig. 10 During short pause while vacuuming, the handstick vacuum cleaner can be left standing upright anywhere in the room. Tilt the vacuum cleaner slightly forwards in the direction of the nozzle until it locks into place.

Warning!

When the handstick vacuum cleaner is left standing, it must be switched off, because if the brush is turning while the product is standing, it could cause damage to the floor surface.

Upholstery and Crevice nozzle

Fig. 15 For vacuuming upholstered furniture, mattresses, cushions, curtains, etc., insert the upholstery nozzle into the air intake opening of the handheld vacuum cleaner. For vacuuming folds, crevices and corners, insert the crevice nozzle into the air intake opening of the handheld vacuum cleaner.

Cleaning and care

Warning!

• When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).
• Never immerse any electrical parts of the product in water or in other liquids during cleaning. Never place it under running water.

Emptying dust container and cleaning filters

Note: The dust container should be emptied every time after vacuuming.

Fig. 17 Remove the dirt filter and textile filter from the dust container and clean them by tapping out or brushing out the dirt. If heavily soiled, the dirt filter can be washed out. Ensure to dry it completely before re-assembly.
Fig. 18 Empty the dust container. If heavily soiled, the dust container can be rinsed under running water. Wipe and dry the container with a dry cloth.

Cleaning floor nozzle

Fig. 20 The floor nozzle should be cleaned at regular intervals. To clean it, release the floor nozzle from the handstick vacuum cleaner. Press the unlock button to release the brush roller.

Fig. 21 Take out the brush roller from the nozzle. Cut through threads and hairs wounded round the rollers using scissors and remove them.

Note: If the wheels are blocked with threads and hairs, use a flat screw driver to remove them carefully.

Re-assemble all of the components that have previously been removed. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.

Note:

• Floor nozzles are subject to a certain amount of wear, depending on the type of hard floors you have (e.g. rough, rustic tiles). Therefore, you must check the underside of the floor nozzle at regular intervals.
• Worn undersides of floor nozzles may have sharp edges that can damage sensitive hard floors, such as parquet or linoleum. Imtron does not accept any responsibility for damage caused by worn floor nozzles.
