Instruction Manual Thank you for choosing our product. We hope you will enjoy using the appliance. Symbols in these Instruction Manual Important information for your safety is specially marked. It is essential to comply with these instructions in order to avoid accidents and prevent damage to the appliance:

  • The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not t for commercial use.
  • Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
  • When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
  • Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the appliance off. Remove the plug from the socket.
  • The appliance and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.
  • Use only original spare parts.

  • Do not close or seal the vents in the housing.
  • Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
  • Do not store any explosive substances such as aerosol contain- ers containing ammable propellant inside the device.
  • Only use drinking water when preparing ice cream with water.

  • Wait at least 2 hours when using the appliance for the rst time or after transport so that the refrigerant can sink. Otherwise the compressor may become damaged.
  • Liquids expand when frozen. Do not overll the container! Maxi- mum capacity for the ice cream preparation: 900 ml.
  • Maximum capacity for the yogurt preparation: 1300 ml.
  • Always transport and store the appliance horizontally.
  • Do not place the appliance on or directly next to heat sources such as ovens, radiators, etc.
  • Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal, and level surface. Maintain a gap of at least 15 cm to walls or objects.
  • Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an author- ized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied per- sons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.

idues. We recommend that you clean the appliance as described under “Cleaning”. NOTE:

  • If there is any sign of transport damage, contact your dealer immediately. Do not put a damaged device into operation! NOTE:
  • A rattling noise can be caused during transport due to the design of the device. This is not a reason for complaint. Initial Operation

The refrigerant circuit of the device uses the refrigerant isobutane (R600a), a ammable natural gas with high environmental sustainability. When transporting and installing the device, prevent the device from falling down. The refrigerant circuit must not get damaged. If the Refrigerant Circuit is Damaged:

  • Open ames and ignition sources must be avoided.
  • Disconnect the mains plug.
  • Ventilate the room in which the device is installed. CAUTION: Please observe a waiting period of 2 hours before initial operation and after moving the appliance for the refriger- ant to settle; otherwise the compressor can be damaged. Electrical Connection

1. Before inserting the plug into the socket. Make sure that

  • Use the button to switch the device on and off.
  • Use the button to select a program
  • The operating times can be adjusted via the control knob
  • Use the button to start the programs.
  • By using the button you can interrupt a program for a maximum of 10 minutes. When preparing the ice cream, the compressor will continue cooling for 3 minutes. Press the button again to continue the program. If you do not resume the program within 10 minutes, you will hear 5 beeps. The appliance switches to standby mode.
  • Press the button, if you wish to cancel a program.
  • When canceling the programs or or the after-cooling function by using the button, wait at least 5 minutes before switching the appliance on again so that the pres- sure in the refrigerant circuit can be released. Operating Time
  • The preparation time of ice cream or yogurt varies. It depends on: - recipe, - the temperature of the mixture, - ambient temperature, - desired consistency.
  • Do not leave the device unattended during use. Constantly check the consistency of the mixture while preparing the ice cream.
  • The ice cream mixture must not be too liquid or too viscous.
  • When making yogurt, allow the milk mixture to ripen in the appliance for at least 8 hours. The taste becomes stronger the longer the ripening of the yogurt progresses. Protection Features during Ice Cream Preparation
  • If the stirrer stops during operation due to solidication of the ice cream, the motor will be blocked.

  • You can start another ice cream program immediately after the previous program has nished. For safety reasons though, the compressor will only turn on after approx. 5 minutes.
  • If you have prepared several ice cream batches in sequence, the overheat protection might get triggered. In such a case, the compressor will not turn on. Let the device cool down for approx. 30 minutes before starting again. Preparation for Making Ice Cream NOTE:
  • Use ingredients that are of 6 - 8 °C fridge temperature.

CAUTION: Do not ll the ice cream container with ingredients of more than 900 ml!

  • When making ice cream with fruits, only use soft, seedless fruits and pulp (puree) them beforehand. You can also add fruit juice.
  • When making ice cream with solid pieces of fruits, nuts, brittle, or with alcohol, wait towards the end of the cooling time before adding such ingredients. NOTE:
  • Alcohol impedes the freezing operation.
  • Add the puréed fruits and / or alcohol through the ll opening. Preparation for Making Yogurt NOTE: You need pasteurized milk (H-milk) and natural yoghurt at a mixing ratio of 100 ml : 15 ml.

Vanilla Ice Cream (Approx. 5 servings) Vanilla extract 1 - 2 teaspoons Whole milk 250 ml Cream 375 ml Sugar 125 g Use a hand mixer and mix all ingredients in a bowl until the sugar has dissolved.   • Do not use chemicals, acids, petrol or oil products. Container, Stirrer and Lid CAUTION: The components are not suitable for cleaning in dish- washers. They could get deformed or discoloured by heat and aggressive cleaners. Clean components that come into contact with foods in soapy water. Base and Recess Clean the base and the recess with a damp cloth. Troubleshooting Problem Possible Cause Solution No function. No power supply. Check the wall outlet with a dif- ferent appliance; connect the plug properly to the wall outlet. The lid can not be closed. The container is not properly inserted into the recess.
