Instruction Manual Thank you for choosing our product. We hope you will enjoy using the appliance. Symbols in this Instruction Manual Important information for your safety is specially marked. It is essential to comply with these instructions in order to avoid accidents and prevent damage to the appliance:

  • The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not t for commercial use.
  • Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
  • The appliance and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.
  • Use only original spare parts.
  • In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

  • The blade of the hand blender is very sharp! It should therefore be handled with extreme caution! Danger of injury!
  • Switch off the appliance and disconnect from mains power be- fore working on the knives.
  • Make sure that the motor casing is not wet. Switching on a wet motor can result in electric shock or short circuit.

  • Do not touch moving parts. Always wait until such parts have come to a complete stop.
  • Make sure to keep long hair away from the appliance during operation.
  • Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly quali- ed persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • This appliance is not to be used by children. Keep the appliance and the connecting cable away from children.

  • Ensure that the mains power cable does not touch hot surfaces (e. g. hot pots). Intended Use This appliance can be used to mix, beat, puree or crush foodstuffs. It is for instance suitable for preparing mayon- naise, dips, sauces, soups, baby food and milkshakes. The appliance is intended for amounts common in the private household. Use in hot foods is possible. It is intended for the use in private households and similar applications. It is only to be used as instructed in this user manual. The appliance is not intended for commercial use. Any other use is not intended and can result in damages or personal injuries. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damages caused by improper use. Unpacking the Appliance

1. Remove the appliance from the package.

2. Remove all packaging material such as lms, ller, cable

3. Check the delivery contents for completeness.

4. Should the package contents be incomplete or damages

be found, do not take the appliance into operation. Take it immediately back to the dealer. NOTE: Dust or production residues can be located on the appli- ance. We recommend to clean the appliance as described under “Cleaning”.   • Chop up large pieces of solid food before mashing (max. Ø 1.5 cm) and add a little liquid.
  • For optimum results using the egg whisk, use high- walled vessels that are not too large.
  • Immerse the mixing rod or the egg whisk in the mixture before switching on the appliance. This way, you avoid splashes.
  • Interrupt the process if the maximum speed is too slow. Reduce the quantity of the food being mixed. First break up any solid food.

WARNING: Risk of injury!

The motor overtravels. Wait for the assembled acces- sory to stop running.

  • Short-time operating: Observe the maximum operating time for the accessories, as shown in the following table. Leave the appliance to cool down for at least 1 minute before using again. When attaching accessories there is the risk of pinching your ngers. Please be especially careful.

  • Connect the gear of the whisk (9) with the whisk (8) by plugging them together. Observe additional Figure on page 3.

2. Place the motor housing (4) on the

mixing rod (6) or on the pre-as- sembled egg whisk (8) and snap it into place. The arrow on the motor housing and the symbol on the accessory must be positioned one above the other. Pay attention to the recesses on the accessory.

3. Release the buttons. The motor

housing and the accessory are rmly connected.

  • To disassemble, pull the accessory off the motor housing while you hold the two buttons down. Electrical Connection

1. Ensure that your mains power corresponds with the

specications of the appliance. The specications are printed on the type label.

2. Connect the mains cable to a properly installed and

earthed wall outlet. Operation

When using the appliance in hot foods, there is a risk of burning due to hot splashing.

1. Submerge the entire blender head in foodstuff or bever-

age. Keep the appliance upright. In this way you avoid spatters.

2. Hold the handle with one hand in such a way that you

can press the push button (3). Use the other hand to adjust the speed with the control knob (2).

3. Activate pulse operation by pressing and releasing the

push button alternately.

4. The appliance turns off when releasing the push button.

5. Pull out the plug from the socket after use.

  • Always remove the plug before cleaning.
  • Under no circumstances should you immerse the motor housing in water in order to clean it. Otherwise this might result in an electric shock or re.
  • The blade of the hand blender is very sharp! Please be very careful. CAUTION:
  • Do not immerse the gear unit for the egg whisk (9) in water! Wipe it using only a damp cloth. NOTE: For preliminary cleaning, place the accessory in a vessel containing hot water and run the egg whisk and / or the mixing rod as described under “Operation”.
  • Wipe the casing with a damp cloth.
  • For thorough cleaning, separate the assembled accessory from the motor housing as described under “Assembly / Disassembly”. Cleaning In Sudsy Water You can rinse off the mixing rod (6) and the egg whisk (8) in warm dishwater with a little dishwashing detergent. After- wards, dry the accessory thoroughly. Cleaning In the Dishwasher The mixing rod (6) and the egg whisk (8) can be washed in a dishwasher. Ensure not to overdose the cleaning agents (detergent, salt and rinse aid).PC-SMS1220_IM 26.05.21
  • Clean the appliance as described and allow it to dry.
  • You can use the hanging loop (1) to hang up the appli- ance after cleaning.
  • We recommend that you keep the appliance in the origi- nal packaging if it will not be used for long periods.
