2. Intended purpose
The 2 in 1 Tabletop Grill with Hot Pot is intended for frying, stewing and cooking food (e.g. meat, fish, vegetables etc.) in the house.
The device is designed for private, domestic use. The device must only be used indoors.
This device must not be used for commercial purposes.

- If liquid gets into the device, pull out the mains plug immediately. Have the device checked before reusing.
Never touch the device with wet hands.
- If the device falls into water, disconnect the mains plug immediately. Only then is it safe to remove the device.

Do not use the device if the device or the mains power cable has any visible damage, or if the device has previously been dropped.

Only connect the mains plug to a properly installed and easily accessible earthed wall socket whose voltage corresponds to the specifications on the rating plate. The wall socket must still be easily accessible after the device is plugged in.
- Ensure that the power cable cannot be damaged by sharp edges or hot spots. Do not wrap the power cable around the device.
The power cable must not touch the hot surfaces during operation.
Even after it has been switched off, the device is not completely disconnected from the mains power supply. In order to fully disconnect it, pull out the mains plug. - When using the device, ensure that the power cable cannot be trapped or crushed.
- When removing the mains plug from the wall socket, always pull on the plug and never the cable.

- Never leave the device unattended during operation. You will thus be able to detect possible problems early on due to unusual smells or noises.
Do not use the device under wall units or near curtains, paper or similar flammable objects.
The device must never be placed directly under a wall socket, as the arising heat may lead to damage to the electric system.

DANGER! Risk of injury through burning!
Hot oil causes serious burns because it is much hotter than boiling water.
- If water drips into hot fat or oil, then this will lead to explosive deflagrations.
- Avoid any contact with the hot oil or any splashes.
The device becomes very hot during operation. During operation, only touch the handles and control elements of the device.
The device remains very hot after it is switched off, and must not be touched.
- Only transport the device when it has cooled down, and when doing so only use the handles intended for this purpose.

DANGER for birds!
Birds breathe faster, distribute the air differently in their bodies and are significantly smaller than humans. For this reason, it may be dangerous for birds to inhale even the smallest smoke quanti
ties, which develop while this device is in operation. When using this device, birds should be relocated into a different room.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
Make sure that the device is switched off before you connect it to a wall socket (temperature control is set to 0).
Only use the original accessories.
- Only use utensils made from wood or heat-resistant plastic. Metal cutlery can damage the coated surface of the hot pot.
Do not cut up food in the hot pot.
Do not use any astringent or abrasive cleaning agents.
The device is fitted with non-slip plastic feet. As furniture is coated with a wide array of varnishes and synthetics, and is also treated with different care products, it cannot be fully ruled out that some of these materials contain components that could attack and soften the non-slip plastic feet. If necessary, place a non-slip mat under the device.
- If you want to fry at the table, please note that splashes of fat can damage the table, the tablecloth and clothing.

5. How to use
5.1 Unpacking
- Remove all packing material.
- Check to ensure that all parts are present and undamaged.
5.2 Switching on for the first time

FIRE HAZARD!
Before switching on the device, place it on a heat-resistant, flat and stable surface.
The device must not be operated close to flammable liquids or materials, or in a potentially explosive environment. Keep at a distance of at least 30~cm from walls. In order to prevent overheating of the device or a potential fire, the device must not be covered.
NOTE: when in operation for the first time, some smoke and odour may be generated by the device. This is related to materials used on the heating elements during assembly, and is not a product defect. Ensure adequate ventilation.
1. Clean the device prior to its first use!
- Place the hot pot 1 on the heating element in the device 4.
- Before connecting the device 4, make sure that the temperature control 7 is set to O. For this, the mark of the control dial must point to O.
- Insert the mains plug 5 into an earthed wall socket corresponding to the specifications of the rating plate.
- The green temperature control light 8 and the red indicator light 9 both light up initially.
- Turn the temperature control 7 to the highest temperature setting The device 4 heats up and the green temperature control light 8 goes out. It does not light up again until the set operating temperature has been reached.
- Switch the device 4 off after approx. 10 minutes by turning the temperature control 7 to 0.
8.Pull out the mains plug 5.
9. Allow the device 4 to cool down before moving, cleaning and storing it. For safety, hold it by the handles 6.
10.Clean the device 4 again.
6. Operation
6.1 Setting up

6.2 Connecting

Make sure that the device 4 is switched off before you connect it to a wall socket (temperature control 7 is set to 0).
- Insert the mains plug 5 into an earthed wall socket corresponding to the specifications of the rating plate.
6.3 Switching on and controlling the temperature

Rub the grill surface 3 of the hot pot with a little cooking oil before use.
- Pour water or stock (water-based) into the hot pot 1 and onto the grill surface 3.

To switch the device on, turn the temperature control 7 to the desired temperature setting. The green temperature control light 8 and the red indicator light 9 both light up. During the heating phase, the green temperature control light 8 goes out. It does not light up again until the set operating temperature has been reached.

The flame marks the optimum temperature for slow heating and cooking. The flame marks the highest temper
ature setting and is ideal for searing on the grill surface.
- Add the other ingredients (e.g. vegetables, Asian noodles or spices) when the water/the stock in the hot pot 1 is boiling. You can now also use the grill surface 3.
Make sure that the liquid and the food together do not exceed the MAX marking 2.
- During the preparation of the food, regulate the temperature as required with the temperature control 7.
6.4 Switching off

DANGER! Risk of injury through burning!
The device remains very hot after it is switched off, and must not be touched.
- Only transport the device when it has cooled down, and when doing so only use the handles intended for this purpose.
- Switch off the device by turning the temperature control 7 to 0.
- Pull out the mains plug 5.
- Allow the device 4 to cool down before moving, cleaning and storing it.
- Clean the device 4 as soon as possible after it has cooled down. Do not allow any residues to dry in the hot pot.
7. Cleaning
Clean the device prior to its first use!

DANGER! Risk of electric shock!
- Unplug the mains plug 5 from the wall socket before cleaning.
The device, the power cable and the mains plug 5 must not be immersed in water or any other liquids.

DANGER! Risk of injury through burning!
- Allow all the parts to cool down before cleaning.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
Do not use any astringent or abrasive cleaning agents.
Clean the device after each use and remove all food residues.
Interior surfaces of the hot pot
NOTES:
- Food residues are easier to remove if you do this immediately after the device has cooled down.
-
Sticky food residues are often easier to remove if you leave warm water with a little detergent in the hot pot.
-
Remove as many fat and food residues as possible with paper towels.
- Wipe off the internal surfaces of the hot pot several times with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Wipe several times with a damp cloth and clear water.
- Dry the hot pot off completely with a tea towel.
Exterior surfaces of the hot pot
- Clean the exterior surfaces of the hot pot with a soft, damp cloth using a mild soap solution.
- Allow all surfaces to dry completely before putting the device away or using it again.
Power cable and plug
- Clean the power cable with mains plug 5 with a soft, slightly moistened cloth.
- Make sure that all parts are completely dry before putting the device away or reconnecting it.
8. Storage

DANGER for children!

Keep the device out of the reach of children.

- Clean all parts and make sure they are properly dry before putting away the device.
- Select a location where neither high temperatures nor moisture can affect the device.
9. Recipes
You can prepare different dishes on the grill surface of the 2 in 1 Tabletop Grill with Hot Pot. The juice will run over the juice channels into the hot pot and provide unique flavours. Various sauces can also be heated in the hot pot as a base for the Hot Pot meal, and any side dishes you may have can also be cooked in it.
Only use cutlery made of wood or heat-resistant plastic (e.g. wooden skewers for the grill surface and a narrow plastic sauce spoon for the hot pot) during preparation. This prevents damage to the coated surface of the hot pot.
Tip: for four people, it is best to choose 2-4 different meat/fish or seafood dishes. Add 2-3 types of vegetables and mushrooms each, and noodles, rice or tofu as a side dish, if desired.
Of course, you can also easily replace fish and meat with vegetarian or vegan ingredients.
For the grill surface:
- Meat: very thinly sliced beef, lamb, pork or chicken
- Fish/seafood: prawns, salmon, fish balls, lobster, crab, mussels
- Grill cheese

For the sauces:
- Stock made from water with fish sauce and/or soy sauce (refined with e.g. garlic, chillies, onions, brown sugar and various spices, such as coriander or basil)
- Coconut milk with Thai curry paste
- Melted chocolate coating as a dessert variant
NOTE: Regularly add new sauce or stock after serving soup and side dishes.

Hot Pot with meat in garlic-pepper marinade
Ingredients for approx. 4 portions
Meat:
approx. 600g (depending on preference:
e.g. 200 g pork, 200 g chicken, 200 g beef)
Vegetables:
1 courgette
500 g Chinese cabbage
1 pck mushrooms
4 C a
150 g soybean sprouts
Other ingredients:
250 g noodles (Instant)
1 tsp white pepper
4 cloves garlic
8 tbs soy sauce
1 water
4 tbs soy sauce
4 tbs fish sauce
1-2 fresh chillies
4 cloves garlic
1 1 e
4 lbs fish sauce
4 lbs brown sugar
to taste: coriander
some cooking oil (sunflower oil)
Preparation:
Marinade:
- Finely chop the 4 garlic cloves and mix with the soy sauce (8 tbs) and white pepper.
- Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces and place in a deep plate or bowl.
- Spread the marinade over the meat and turn the pieces of meat once. (The marinade should be allowed to marinate for at least one hour.)
Soup base:
Mix the water with the fish and soy sauce until the water mixture has a slightly salty taste and place in a container.
Soup contents:
Cut the vegetables into equal-sized, bite-sized pieces if possible.
Dip sauce:
- Finely chop the garlic and chillies.
- Mix the lemon juice, fish sauce, brown sugar and chopped coriander with the garlic and chillies.
Preparation in the Hot Pot:
- Coat the entire Hot Pot (hot pot and grill plate) with a little cooking oil.
- Pour the water mix into the hot pot (observe the maximum filling level), set the rest aside for another batch and turn the temperature control on the device to until the water mix boils.
- Add some of the vegetables and the noodles to the hot pot and simmer everything for a few minutes. Note the different cooking times of the vegeta- bles.
- Place the pieces of meat on the grill plate one at a time. Turn the meat once after browning for a short time.
- You can scoop some soup out of the hot pot and pour it over the meat on the grill plate. After a few minutes, the meat will be cooked and can be served together with the soup and vegetables. Pour the dip over the meat and soup according to taste and preference.

Vegetarian Hot Pot with grill cheese and vegetables
Ingredients for approx. 4 portions
Grilled food:
600 g grill cheese, tofu as vegan option
Vegetables:
As desired, for example:

150 g bamboo shoots
4 carrots
1 courgette
150 g baby corn
150 g broccoli
Other ingredients:
1.5 | vegetable stock
2-3 cups jasmine rice fresh herbs (e.g. basil, coriander to taste) some cooking oil (sunflower oil)
Preparation:
- Cut the vegetables into small, bite-sized pieces. Cut the grill cheese into longer strips.
- Prepare the vegetable stock and set aside.
- Cook the jasmine rice according to the instructions.
Preparation in the Hot Pot:
- Coat the entire Hot Pot (hot pot and grill plate) with a little cooking oil.
- While the rice is cooking, pour the vegetable stock into the hot pot (observe the maximum filling level) and turn the temperature control of the device to

Once the broth is boiling, set to , add some of the vegetables to the broth in the pot and simmer for about 10 minutes. Please observe the different cooking times of the vegetables.

Turn the temperature control to place the grill cheese on the grill plate and brown on both sides.
- Ladle the soup out of the hot pot with the garnishes, add fresh herbs and serve together with the grill cheese and rice.

k Vegan Hot Pot with coconut milk and Thai curry
Ingredients for approx. 4 portions
Fruit and vegetables:
approx. 800 g hokkaido pumpkin
1 ripe mango
1 pc. ginger (thumb-sized)
2 cloves of garlic
As desired, for example:
100 g baby corn
2 chillies
100 g cauliflower
100 g broccoli
250 g mushrooms (oyster mushrooms, shiitake)
Other ingredients:
2 tbs red curry paste
1 | coconut milk
approx. 1/2 | water
5 lbs soy sauce
2 tbs brown sugar
2 stalks lemon grass
Thai basil to taste
Preparation:
- Dice about 400g of the Hokkaido pumpkin. Cut the rest into slices.

Cut the mushrooms, broccoli, sweetcorn, mango and cauliflower into bite-sized pieces.
-
Finely chop the ginger, garlic and chilli- lies.
- Cut the lemongrass into pieces approx. 5 cm long and flatten them slightly. This helps the flavour to get into the coconut milk. It is advisable to remove the long pieces of lemongrass before eating as they are not edible.
Preparation in the Hot Pot:
- Coat the entire Hot Pot (hot pot and grill plate) with a little cooking oil.
- Turn the device's temperature control to the flame and bring around 5 tbs of coconut milk to the boil in the hot pot. Add the curry paste to the hot pot and mix everything together.
- Add the chopped ginger, chilli and garlic and fry briefly.
- Then pour on some of the remaining coconut milk and dilute with a little water if necessary. Add the lemongrass, soy sauce and brown sugar.
- Now, the mango slices and vegetables can be cooked one at a time, either on the grill surface or in the hot pot with the coconut curry soup.

Hot Pot with spinach leaves and lemongrass
Ingredients for approx. 4 portions:
Meat:
approx. 300g chicken
approx. 300g beef
Vegetables:
150 g soybean sprouts
4 lemon grass stalks
250 g fresh spinach
4 C a r o
150 g mushrooms (wood ear or shi-itake)
1 pak choi 1 shallot
approx. 15 g coriander (1 small bunch) approx. 15 g basil (1 small bunch)
1 pc. ginger (thumb-sized)
Other ingredients:
1 tbs red Thai curry paste
1.5 I water
1 pinch salt (or 1 tbs fish sauce)
Preparation:
- Remove the woody parts of the lemongrass and finely chop the soft, inner parts only, the ginger and the shallot.
- Cut the carrot and the meat into thin strips. Cut the mushrooms and other vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Pick the herbs and chop them a little.
Preparation in the Hot Pot:
- Coat the entire Hot Pot (hot pot and grill plate) with a little cooking oil.
- Mix the water with the salt or fish sauce, the chopped shallot, the spices (coriander, fresh ginger, lemongrass and basil), as well as the curry paste. Pour some of it into the hot pot (note the maximum filling level).
- Turn the temperature control to and heat the soup. Then add the vegetables and herbs and simmer for approx. 10 minutes.
- Brown both sides of the meat and the mushrooms on the grill plate. Keep pouring a little soup over the grill plate and the meat.
- Serve the soup together with the meat on a plate. You can serve it with rice or instant noodles.

Sweet chocolate dessert with fruit
Ingredients for approx. 4 portions
Fruit:
1 apple
1 small pineapple
2 kiwis
250 g grapes
1 ripe mango
1 half honeydew melon
2 peaches
or other fruit of your choice
other ingredients:
200 g each chocolate coating (dark and light)
Preparation:
Halve the apple and cut the remaining fruit into strips or bite-sized pieces.
Preparation:
- Turn the temperature control on the device to the first heating level
- Place the two apple halves into the hot pot with the cut side facing up.
- Place the different types of chocolate coating on both sides of the halved apples.
- Depending on taste and appetite, place the individual fruits on the grill surface and turn once. When both sides are lightly caramelised, they can be dipped into the melted chocolate mixture with a wooden skewer.

13. Warranty of the HOYER Handel GmbH
Dear Customer,
your device is provided with a 3 year warranty starting with the purchase date. In the event of product defects, you are entitled to statutory rights against the vendor. These statutory rights are not restricted by our warranty presented in the following.
Warranty conditions
The warranty period starts with the purchase date. Please keep the original purchase receipt in a safe place. This document is required to verify the purchase.
If within three years from the purchase date of this product a material or factory defect occurs, the product will be repaired or replaced by us - at our discretion - free of charge to you, or the purchase price will be refunded. This warranty implies that within the period of three years the defective device and the purchase receipt are presented, including a brief written description of the defect and the time it occurred.
If the defect is covered by our warranty, the repaired or a new product will be returned to you. No new warranty period starts with a repair or replacement of the product.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not extended when the warranty has been claimed. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Any damages and defects already existing at the time of purchase must be reported immediately upon unpacking. Repairs arising after the expiration of the warranty period are subject to a charge.
Warranty coverage
The device was produced carefully according to strict quality guidelines and tested diligently prior to delivery.
The warranty applies to material or factory defects.
Excluded from the warranty are wear parts subject to normal wear and damages to fragile parts, e.g. switches, lamps or other parts manufactured from glass.
This warranty expires if the product is damaged, not used as intended or not serviced. For the proper operation of the product, all instructions listed in the operating instructions must be observed carefully. Any form of use and handling that is advised against in the operating instructions or warned against must always be avoided.
The product is only intended for private and not for commercial use. In the case of incorrect and improper treatment, use of force and interventions not performed by our authorised Service Centre, the warranty shall cease.
