How to install the Bluextreme 700 filter?
Place the filter below the aquarium level, connect the suction and return hoses, pour a glass of water into the priming cap, open the valves, and plug in the device.
How to prime the filter?
Open the cap on the suction unit, pour about 150 cc of water, close it, open the valves, then plug in the filter. The self-priming system activates automatically.
How often should the filter be cleaned?
Every 3-4 weeks, clean the foams. The rotor and shaft should be cleaned every 3-4 months. Replace mechanical foams every 6 months.
How to clean the rotor?
Unplug the filter, remove the pump cover, take out the rotor and shaft, clean them with a soft brush and warm water (no detergent), then reassemble carefully, positioning the ceramic shaft correctly.
What to do if the water flow decreases?
Clean the foams and the suction strainer. Check that the hoses are not kinked or blocked. If the problem persists, clean the rotor.
