How do I pair my smartphone with the OPK 1000 speaker via Bluetooth?

Turn on the partybox using the ON/OFF button. If no cable is connected, the Bluetooth indicator flashes blue. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for devices. Select OPK 1000 from the list. If necessary, press the M button to switch to Bluetooth mode. Pairing is automatic for subsequent uses.

How do I recharge the battery of the OPK 1000?

Plug the provided power adapter into the DC 9V port on the back of the device, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The red indicator lights up during charging and turns off when the battery is full.

What should I do if there is no sound?

Check that the volume is not at minimum (use the volume knob). Ensure the source device (phone, computer) is playing and its volume is sufficient. If using Bluetooth, reduce distance and remove obstacles. For AUX connection, check that the cable is firmly inserted.

Can I connect a microphone to this speaker?

Yes, the OPK 1000 has two microphone inputs (MIC1 and MIC2) with 6.35 mm jacks. Adjust the mic volume using the MIC VOL control and echo effect with ECHO. Microphones are not included.

How do I clean the speaker?

Before cleaning, unplug the device. Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the exterior. Never use gasoline, alcohol, or abrasive products. Ensure no liquid enters the openings.

Is the speaker waterproof?

No, the OPK 1000 is not waterproof. Do not expose it to rain or moisture. It is intended for indoor use only.

What is the Bluetooth range?

The range is approximately 10 meters in open space. Obstacles like walls may reduce range. For initial pairing, bring devices within 1 meter.

How do I change the lighting effects?

When the device is on, the LED lighting is active by default. Press the lighting button (lighting mode) on the control panel to cycle through effects.

Can I use the OPK 1000 outdoors?

It is designed for home use and should be used indoors. Outdoor use is not recommended as it is not protected against weather.

What should I do if the device does not respond to buttons?

This may be due to electrostatic discharge. Unplug the device from the power outlet, wait a few seconds, and plug it back in. If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer.

Danger! Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss. If you listen to loud music for a long time, your hearing may be impaired. Set to a moderate volume.

15. Refer to an authorized service agent for all services. Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Servicing is required when the product has been damaged in any way, such as the supply cord or the power plug, liquid has been spilled, objects have fallen into the product, the enclosure is damaged, the product has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

16. Before connecting the product to the mains, make sure the voltage indicated on the product corresponds to your local mains.

30. Never expose rechargeable batteries to excessive heat (e.g. bright sun, fire), and never throw them into fire. The rechargeable batteries could explode.
31. The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product and cannot be replaced.
32. When disposing the product, please consult an electrician or your retailer to remove and dispose the built in batteries in an environmentally friendly manner.
33. Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the rechargeable battery or the product into fire. There is a danger of fire and explosion!

BEFORE FIRST TIME USE

• Remove the product and accessories from the original packaging carefully. For disposal of the original packaging, follow applicable legal requirements. If you have questions about correct disposal, contact your local authority.
• Check the package contents for completeness and damage. If the package content is incomplete or damages can be found, contact your place of purchase immediately.
• The device must be charged before the first use. Please refer to the chapter Charging The Battery.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

1 Connect the DC plug of charging power supply to the DC connection socket DC 9 V. Connect the charging power supply to the mains. During the battery charging the LED indicator lights continuously red. Once the battery is fully charged the lights turns off.

INSTALLATION

2 Roll or carry the partybox to the desired location. When setting it up, make sure that the surface is firm and level and make sure that the speaker is placed securely.

OPERATION

3 Switch on the partybox with the ON / OFF switch. The operation light on the volume control lights up blue.

• If no audio cable is connected the mode control LED BT/AUX flashes blue and only the Bluetooth mode is active.
• If an audio cable is connected, the BT/AUX mode control LED lights red and the mode selection button M allows you to select audio in AUX or Bluetooth mode.

AUX IN OR MICROPHONE

Note: Before you connect your external player (for example an MP3 player), refer to its user guide regarding safety instructions and use with other devices.

Use an audio cable (included) to create a digital connection to a player or connect up to 2 microphones (not included) to the MIC 1 or MIC 2 inputs.

1. Connect the stereo cable to the AUX jack.
2. Insert the other end of the cable into the headphone or LINEOUT jack of the external device.

BLUETOOTH®

To play via Bluetooth ^® , if necessary press the mode selection button M so that the mode control LED BT/AUX flashes or lights up blue.

Pairing

Turn on the Bluetooth® connection on the playback device and search for devices. Connect (pair) your player to the partybox labeled OPK 1000. Future use of the same player will automatically connect to the partybox when the Bluetooth® feature is enabled on both devices. Start playback. If supported by your playback device you can operate the functions Play / Pause▶, skip forward ▶ and back ▶ing the paired player.

Note:

• Keep the range of 1 meter when pairing.
• Up to 10 meters reception range while music playback via bluetooth®.
• Before pairing a Bluetooth® AV source, refer to the AV source user guide regarding safety instructions and use with other devices

VOLUME

Adjust the volume on the playback device or with the volume control of the partybox. With the ECHO control you can manipulate the sound by creating an echo sound. The microphone volume control MIC VOL adjusts the volume of the microphone inputs separately.

LED LIGHT EFFECT

If the product is powered on, the color changing LED function is automatically activated. You can set different light effects with this speaker by pressing the light button.

CLEANING AND CARE

• Pull the power plug from the electrical outlets before cleaning.
- Clean the exterior with a lightly damp cloth.
- Do not use petrol, alcohol or other abrasive cleansers to clean the exterior.
- Do not allow liquids to spill into any openings.
• Use the original packaging if it is necessary to transport the unit.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If there are any problems during operation, please refer to the following table. If problems cannot be solved as indicated under Solution, please contact your manufacturer.

Problem Possible	causes Solution
Appliance does not work.	Charging power supply not connected properly or battery empty.	Check if the power plug is properly connected to an electrical outlet.
No sound. Volume	is set too low. Increase the volume level.
	Settings at the source device are not correct.	Ensure that the external source has correct volume settings and is playing a track.
Bad audio quality.	Bad Bluetooth® reception. Shorten the distance between the Bluetooth® device and the partybox and make sure that no obstacles are disturbing the connection.
	Connecting cables are not inserted correctly.	Ensure that the connector cables to the source device are correctly plugged in and plugs fully inserted.
Appliance does not react to pressed buttons.	Malfunction due to electrostatic discharge.	Disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Connect the power plugs again to an electrical outlet.
