GENERAL DESCRIPTION
GYSflash 6.24 PL is ideal for charging most lead-acid (Gel, AGM, Liquid,...) and lithium batteries of the Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP / LiFePO4) and «standard» lithium-ion types such as Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC), Lithium nickel cobalt aluminium oxide (NCA), Lithium Cobalt Oxide (LCO), Lithium Polymer (Li-Po), Lithium Manganese Cobalt Oxide (MCO), etc.
This charger is suited for the charge of:
- Lead-acid batteries 24 V (12 elements in series of 2V) from 15 Ah to 125 Ah, and up to 170 Ah for charge support.
- The charge 24 V LFP batteries (7 cells in series of 3.7V) from 2 Ah to 125 Ah, and up to 170 Ah for charge support.
- The charge 24 V Lithium-ion batteries (6 cells in series of 4.2V) from 2 Ah to 125 Ah, and up to 170 Ah for charge support.

The GYSFLASH 6.24 PL is equipped with an integrated temperature sensor that ensures that the charging current is adapted to the ambient temperature for an optimal charging performance. This adjustment ensures a highly precise charge, relative to the temperature of the room.
START UP
- Connect the charger to the battery using the proper accessory (clamps, lugs, etc...).
- Plug the charger to the mains (single phase 220-240Vac 50-60Hz).
- Unlock the charger by pressing button for 3 seconds. Select the mode by pressing button again. Lock the mode by pressing button again for 3 seconds. After roughly five seconds, the charge starts automatically.
- During the charge, the device indicates charge progress. When the indicator light OK flashes, the battery is ready to start an engine. When indicator OK steady, the battery is fully charged.
- The charge can be interrupted at any time by unplugging the mains plug or pressing the button.
- After the charge, disconnect the charger from the mains, then disconnect the clamps from the battery.
CHARGE MODES
- Modes and Options description :
Pb Lead acid
Lead CHARGE mode (29.2 V/6 A) :
Mode designed to charge 24 V lead-acid batteries from 15 Ah to 125 Ah and up to 170 Ah for charge maintenance. Automatic seven step charge cycle.
Li-ion
Lithium-ion CHARGE mode (NMC, NCA, Li-Po, LCO, MCO, ...) (28.7 V/6 A):
Mode designed to charge standard 24 V Li-ion batteries from 2 Ah to 125 Ah and up to 170 Ah for maintenance charge. 8 step automatic maintenance charge cycle.

*Lead battery equivalent: A lithium battery has better starting performance (CCA) than a lead battery. This is why some lithium battery manufacturers indicate the battery lead-acid equivalent (EqPb) that indicates the capacity of a lead-acid battery with the same starting performance. For instance, a LFP battery of 10 Ah will have the same starting performance as a lead-acid battery of around 30 Ah.
- Protections :

The GYSFLASH 6.24 PL has comprehensive safety features to protect it against short-circuits and polarity reversals. It has an anti-spark feature which prevents sparks whilst connecting the device to the battery. This charger has double insulation and is safe to use with the battery in situ as it will protect the vehicle's on-board electronics.
The GYSFLASH 6.24 PL is fitted with an integrated temperature sensor that ensures that the charging current is adapted to the ambient temperature to prevent internal the electronics from overheating.
