USER MANUAL WL507AC Vonroc
TWIN FLOOD LIGHT 2X 20W
Read the enclosed safety warnings, the additional safety warnings and the instructions. Failure to follow the safety warnings and the instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save the safety warnings and the instructions for future reference. The following symbols are used in the user manual or on the product: Read the user manual. Denotes risk of personal injury, loss of life or damage to the tool in case of non-obser- vance of the instructions in this manual. Risk of electric shock. Not suitable for applications with external dimmers. Minimal distance between the light source and illuminated objects. Protection class IP65. Replace damaged glass covers. Do not dispose of the product in unsuitable containers. The product is in accordance with the applicable safety standards in the European directives.
SAFETY WARNINGS FOR WORK LIGHT
a) Please read and observe all safety warnings and instructions enclosed with the flood light. b) Do not use the flood light in hazardous areas. c) Do not direct the light beam at persons or animals and do not stare into the light beam yourself (not even from adistance). d) Do not cover off the lens while operating the flood light. The flood light heats up during operation and can cause burns when the heat is allowed to accumulate. e) Do not allow children to use the flood light. It is intended for professional use. Children can un- intentionally blind themselves or other persons.
4) Place the tripod stand on astable, level surface.
The tripod legs (7) must always be fully extended to ensure the stability of the tripod and prevent the flood light from tipping over / falling. To adjust the height of the tripod stand, do not (partially) retract the tripod legs. See the paragraph ‘Operation / Adjustment’ below for the correct height adjustment procedure. Install the support bar (Fig. C)
1) Position the support bar (4) on top of the tripod
stand. Align the center hole of the support bar with the tripod stand.
2) Fix the support bar (4) in place by installing
alocking screw (3) through the center hole. Install the lights (Fig D-1, D-2)
1) Position alight (1) on both ends of the support
bar (4). Align the hole in the light brackets with the hole on each end of the support bar.
2) Fix the lights (1) in place by installing alocking
screw (3) through the hole in the light brackets.
3) Attach the cable splitter (8) to the support bar
Intended use The twin flood light is intended as mobile illumi- nation for temporary use and is not suitable for permanent room lighting. Be sure to keep aminimal distance of 0.5m between the lights (1) and any illuminated objects. Objects that are placed too closely may overheat. Do not connect the flood light to external dimmers of any kind. The flood light is not suitable for use in combination with external dimmers. Using an external dimmer can cause irreparable damage to the flood light and/or the dimmer circuit. Only connect the flood light to aregular 220-240V~ 50Hz outlet. Adjustment (Fig F-1, F-2) The lights can be directed in any orientation. To ad- just the orientation of the lights, take the following steps:
1) Slightly loosen the applicable locking screw(s)
2) Adjust the light(s) (1) to the desired orientation.
3) Re-tighten the locking screw(s) (2)/(3).
Be careful when touching the lights. The metal housing of the lights may become hot during operation. Disconnect the flood light from mains power and allow it to cool down sufficiently before making any adjustments. The height of the tripod stand can be adjusted. To adjust the height, take the following steps:
1) Slightly loosen locking screw (5).
2) Adjust the tripod stand to the desired height by
extending or retracting the tube.
The flood light is maintenance-free and only requi- res occasional exterior cleaning. Do not open the housing of the lights, there is arisk of electric shock. The flood light does not contain any serviceable parts. Malfunctioning lights must be disposed of. Replace the lights in case the glass covers become damaged. Damaged lights can not be repaired and must be disposed of. The LED light source is not replaceable. When the LED light source has reached the end of its life the light must be disposed of. Cleaning Disconnect the flood light from mains power and allow it to cool down sufficiently before cleaning. Do not use any solvents, caustic cleaning products or similar chemicals. Use adry or damp cloth for cleaning. ENVIRONMENT Faulty and/or discarded electrical or electronic apparatus have to be collected at the appropriate recycling locations. Only for EC countries Do not dispose of power tools into domestic waste. According to the European Guideline 2012/19/EC for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment and its implementation into national right, power tools that are no longer usable must be collected separately and disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. WARRANTY VONROC products are developed to the highest quality standards and are guaranteed free of defects in both materials and workmanship for the period lawfully stipulated starting from the date of original purchase. Should the product develop any failure during this period due to defective material and/or workmanship then contact VONROC directly.6
The following circumstances are excluded from this guarantee:
- Repairs and or alterations have been made or attempted to the machine by unauthorized service centers;
- Normal wear and tear;
- The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained;
- Non-original spare parts have been used. This constitutes the sole warranty made by compa- ny either expressed or implied. There are no other warranties expressed or implied which extend beyond the face hereof, herein, including the im- plied warranties of merchantability and fitness for aparticular purpose. In no event shall VONROC be liable for any incidental or consequential damages. The dealers remedies shall be limited to repair or replacement of nonconforming units or parts.
