How to connect the docking station to my computer?

Connect the power supply to the station, then connect the station to a USB-C port on your computer (supporting DP Alt Mode, Thunderbolt™ 3 or 4). Download and install the DisplayLink driver from Delock website before use.

What is the maximum screen resolution I can get?

With a USB-C host supporting DP Alt Mode, you can use three monitors at 4K @ 60 Hz simultaneously. Without DP Alt Mode, two monitors at 4K @ 60 Hz are possible.

Can I charge my laptop via the docking station?

Yes, the station supports USB Power Delivery 3.0 up to 96 W. Your laptop will be charged during use.

What types of monitors can I connect?

You can connect up to three monitors using DisplayPort and HDMI ports. One monitor works via DP Alt Mode, the other two via DisplayLink®.

How to install the DisplayLink driver?

Download the driver from www.delock.com/produkte/G_88051/treiber.html. Run the installation, follow the instructions, restart the computer. On Mac, allow DisplayLinkUserAgent in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.

Why is my screen black after connection?

Check that the DisplayLink driver is installed and that your USB-C cable supports DP Alt Mode. Make sure the power supply is connected and the LED is lit (blue). On Windows, go to display settings to extend or duplicate the screen.

Can I use USB devices simultaneously with monitors?

Yes, the station has 5 USB ports (4 USB-A 5 Gbps and 1 USB-C 10 Gbps) that work simultaneously with video outputs.

What does the LED on the station mean?

The blue LED indicates that the station is powered. When you connect a USB device, the LED turns green.

Is the station compatible with Mac?

Yes, it is compatible with Mac OS 12.4 or later. Make sure to install the DisplayLink driver and allow the agent in privacy preferences.

Can I use a headset with the station?

Yes, the audio jacks (3.5 mm microphone and headphone) are available. Once a headset is plugged in, sound comes exclusively from this jack and not from the monitors.

Description

This docking station by Delock can be connected to a computer with a USB-C™ DP Alt Mode, Thunderbolt™ 3 or Thunderbolt™ 4 and provides a variety of interfaces. Three monitors can be operated at the monitor outputs at the same time. Five built-in USB ports allow the use of peripherals and another USB port can be used to charge mobile devices. Connectors for a microphone and speaker, a Gigabit network connection, as well as a card reader for SD memory cards complete the features.

Triple Display 4K UHD resolution

When using the three video outputs at the same time, one monitor is operated via DisplayPort Alternate Mode, the other two via DisplayLink®. One port can be used from each double group of DisplayPort and HDMI connector. The Delock docking station can also be operated on devices without a USB Type-C™ port with DP Alt Mode support, with a video output on a maximum of two monitors. A maximum resolution of 4K on all ports can be guaranteed, regardless of the operating system. Due to the DisplayLink® graphics chipset it is possible to use mirrored and extended screen functions on Windows and Mac OS operating systems.

USB Power Delivery (USB PD 3.0) support up to 96 watt

Via the power supply, which is connected to the docking station, the host device is charged with up to 96 watts during operation.

Stand

Due to the vertical installation, the Delock docking station takes up less space on the desk.

Driver Installation

1. Switch on your computer.
2. Connect the power supply to the DC female port.
3. Connect the docking station to an available USB port of your computer.
4. Download the driver from the product page: https://www.delock.com/produkte/G_88051/treiber.html.
5. Follow the instructions of the driver installation.
6. The driver will now be installed.
7. Click on "Finish".
8. Your computer will ask to reboot. Click "Yes" to restart the computer.
9. After restart you can start using the device immediately.

Configuration

1. Network connection: Supports 10/100/1000 Mbps and can be used immediately.
2. USB ports: You can now connect your devices to these 5 ports.
3. Audio ports: You can connect your headset and your speakers to the audio ports.

Note

As soon as an audio device is connected to the stereo jack, the output takes place exclusively over it. An output via the video outputs is then not possible.

1. Video ports: You can set the additional displays on mirroring or extended. In order to change the setting, proceed like this:

Windows: Click with the right mouse button on the desktop and click on "display settings".

Afterwards you can change the graphics settings.

Mac: Open the System Preferences > Displays.

It can happen that the security settings need to be changed. Therefore go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy and set the hook on "DisplayLinkUserAgent".

Note

When using the three video outputs at the same time, one monitor is operated via DisplayPort Alternate Mode, the other two via DisplayLink®. The Delock docking station can also be operated on devices without a USB Type-C™ port with DP Alt Mode support, with a video output on a maximum of two monitors.

One port can be used from each double group of DisplayPort and HDMI connector:

1. Insert an SD card into the card reader.
2. LED indicator
